Mr. Bacot was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church.
The funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Thursday in Tabernacle Baptist Church by the Rev. Bobby Capps. Burial will be in New Hollywood Cemetery.
Mr. Bacot is survived by a son, Danny M. Bacot of Lumberton; a daughter, Joyce B. Parker of St. Pauls; a brother, Ferriell Bacot of Lumberton; a sister, Lois Rice of Lumberton; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory.

David B. Dick (Dated Wednesday, October 13, 1999 )
PINEHURST -- David B. Dick, 25, of Pinehurst died Monday.
Mr. Dick was a railroad engineer with Aberdeen, Carolina and Western Railway.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. today in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Ellerbe by the Rev. Thurman Howard. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Boles Funeral Home & Crematory.
Mr. Dick is survived by his wife, Tina; a son, Bradley A. Dick; his father, David Dick of West End; a brother, Geoffrey Siege of West End; and a sister, Jenny Black of Denton.
Eliza T. Braun (Dated Monday, November 8, 1999 )
LAURINBURG -- Mrs. Eliza Tillman Braun, 94, of 430 E. Church St. died Sunday in Scotland Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Braun was a retired musician.
A Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Mary Catholic Church by Father Kevin Fahey. Burial will be in Hillside Memorial Park.
Mrs. Braun is survived by a daughter, Mitzi Hine of Laurinburg; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at McDougald Funeral Home & Crematorium.

RED SPRINGS -- Miss Jasmine Tamara Swain, infant daughter of Russell Swain and Francie Lowery, of 273 Duffie Road died Friday in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. today in South Hoke Baptist Church cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Red Springs Funeral Home.
In addition to her parents, Jasmine is survived by two brothers, Raekwon Swain of Red Springs and Latkell Locklear of Raeford; a sister, Keona Swain of Fayetteville; her maternal grandmother, Pattie Chavis of Lumber Bridge; her paternal grandmother, Brenda Beatty of Raeford; and her paternal great-grandmother, Aretha Hedding of Raeford.
Loman C. Coats Jr. (Dated Monday, November 8, 1999 )
DUNN -- Loman Cephus Coats Jr., 57, of 118 Electra Lane died Sunday in his home
Mr. Coats was a painter before retiring.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Cromartie-Miller & Lee Funeral Home chapel by the Revs. Everette Faircloth and Sherrill Pope. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
Mr. Coats is survived by a son, Cephus Coats of Erwin; a daughter, Kimberly C. Hartley of Erwin; two brothers, Joe Coats and Frank Coats, both of Dunn; two sisters, Elsie Haney and JoAnn Tyndall, both of Dunn; a grandson; four step-grandchildren; and a great-grandson.

LUMBERTON -- Roy Beamon Branch, 76, of 2268 McPhail Road died Sunday in Southeastern Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Branch is survived by three daughters, Joyce S. Kinlaw, Sadie S. Mincey and Annette B. Dent, all of Lumberton; a sister, Mary H. Ward of Lumberton; three grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Annie W. Tolar (Dated Monday, November 8, 1999 )
WHITEVILLE -- Ms. Annie Mae Worrell Tolar, 93, of Whiteville died Sunday in Columbus County Hospital.
Ms. Tolar was a former member of White Marsh Baptist Church. She was a former house mother at the Boys Home for more than 10 years.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in McKenzie Mortuary chapel by the Revs. Leon Lancaster and Larry Turner. Burial will be in Meadowbrook Cemetery in Lumberton.
Ms. Tolar is survived by a son, George T. Tolar of Fuquay-Varina; and a granddaughter.

ROBBINS -- Mrs. Lester Louise Garner, 88, of 6632 N.C. 705 died Sunday in St. Joseph of the Pines.
Mrs. Garner was a member of Robbins Crossroads Baptist Church. She was a homemaker.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Robbins Crossroads Baptist Church by the Rev. Mike Holyfield. Burial will be in Pine Rest Cemetery.
Mrs. Garner is survived by a daughter, Faye G. Kecatos of Robbins; a son, Colon ‘‘Bill’’ Garner of the home; a sister, Leona C. Coble of Greensboro; two grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

LAURINBURG -- Robert Glen ‘‘Bob’’ Smith, 93, of 14301 Haney Drive died Sunday in Scotland Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Smith worked for Railway Express before retiring. He was a past master of Masonic Lodge No. 305 and a Shriner.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in First Baptist Church by the Rev. Lawrence B. Coleman. Burial will be in Richmond Memorial Park in Rockingham.
Mr. Smith is survived by his wife, Louise S. Smith of Laurinburg; a son, C. William Smith of Asheville; a brother, Charles Smith of Rockingham; a sister, Caroline Johnson of Rockingham; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Oldham was a textile spinner. She was a member of New Covenant Christian Fellowship Center.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday in New Covenant Christian Fellowship Center by the Revs. Larry H. Christopher and Thomas Buck.
Mrs. Oldham is survived by her husband, James Oldham of the home; a son, Christopher A. Oldham of Cordova; two brothers, Fred A. Dennis Jr. of Supply and Jon Dennis of Hampstead; and a sister, Pamela Hatchell of Supply.

BALTIMORE -- Mrs. Lue Myrtle McCrae, 77, of Baltimore, formerly of Laurel Hill, N.C., died Thursday in Union Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Beaver Dam United Methodist Church in Laurel Hill by the Rev. Dorothy Robin. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Morris Funeral Home.
Mrs. McCrae is survived by her husband, John A. McCrae of Gibson, N.C.; a sister, Burneese Burden of Baltimore; and five brothers, the Rev. M.W. Davis of Laurinburg, N.C., James Dockery, Lerner Dockery and Lee E. Dockery, all of New York, and Randy Gilchrist of Washington, D.C.
