Bowser and Albrecht
Melissa Bowser and Ron Albrecht were married
July 13, 2002, at the First Presbyterian Church in Helena.
The matron of honor was Mindy Cochran. Sarah Easton and Stephanie Albrecht were the bridesmaids, and Madelynn Evelo was the flower girl.
The best man was Ross Bartel. Lance Bowser and Mike Cochran were the groomsmen, and Andrew Evelo was the ring bearer.
Melissa is the daughter of Linda and Rex Pfister of Helena, and Jerry and Pat Bowser of Helena.
Ron is the son of Dennis and Deb Albrecht of Vaughn.
The couple lives in Helena.
Spurlock and Brown
Nate Brown and Nichole Spurlock were married
July 6, 2002, in the Helena Christian and Missionary Alliance Church by the Rev. Jim Stumbo. A dinner reception followed the wedding at The WestCoast Colonial Hotel in Helena.
Maid of honor was Lacey Spurlock. Emma Spurlock, Rachael Stibbendeck, Nichole Croteau and Lisa Brown were bridesmaids. The flower girl was Madison Williams, with the couple's daughter, Isabella Brown, as junior flowergirl.
The best man was Aaron Brown. Groomsmen were Kip Spittle, John Cochrane, Don Burns and Shay Rotsinger. Riley Brakefield was ring bearer.
Nichole is the daughter of Barney and Chris Spurlock of Townsend. She is a 1997 graduate of Broadwater High School.
Nate is the son of Randy and Cathy Brown of Townsend. He is a 1993 graduate of Mount Helena Christian Academy.
Nate owns and operates Badger Materials in Townsend.
Hill and Romano
Melissa E. Hill and Christopher Romano were married
March 13, 2002, in Orlando, Fla.
The matron of honor was Jennifer Williams. The best man was Joe Romano. Kelly Williams and Ann Romano were the readers.
Melissa is the daughter of T. Gary and Helen Curtis of Rollins. She graduated from Bridgeport University in Bridgeport, Conn., in May 2002. She is employed by the Trumbull School District.
Christopher is the son of A. Joseph and Lee Romano of Trumbull, Conn. He graduated in 2000 from Fairfield University in Fairfield, Conn. He is employed at the Bridgeport Bluefish Minor League Baseball.
They honeymooned aboard a Western Caribbean Cruse.
The couple lives in Stratford, Conn.
Logston and Ahern
Karee Logston and Matthew Ahern were married
in the Natatorium at the Westcoast Colonial Hotel in Helena.
Sharee Logston Davison was the matron of honor. The bridesmaids were Jaclyn Fark, Amanda Cryer and Sara Alberts. Taylor Davison was the flower girl.
The best man was Mike Ahern. The groomsmen were Jim, Dan and Tim Ahern. Benjamin Cordell was the ring bearer.
Karee is the daughter of Jim and Lee Logston of Helena. She earned master’s degree in physical therapy in 2002 from Regis University in Colorado.
Matthew is the son of Jim and Judy Ahern of East Helena. He is a sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corp stationed at Camp Pendleton, Calif.
They live in Oceanside, Calif.
Jupka and Zanto
Mandi Clara Jupka and Brett Alan Zanto were married
on June 22, 2002, in Holy Family Church in Great Falls. The Rev. Ray Maiser officiated.
Keri Jupka and Sarah Hannula were the matrons of honor. Bridesmaids were Lindy Furan, Jana Grundhauser and Jenny Forder. Kendra Kloker was the flower girl, and the readers were Rachel Buckley and Mark Whisler.
The best man was Bob Heberly. Groomsmen were Kevin Helvik, Drew Carson, Bret Forder and Tony Kloker. Jordan Jernigan was the ring bearer, and Josh Wood, Lance Zanto and Erik Bratlien served as ushers.
Mandi is the daughter of Dennis and Pat Jupka of Great Falls. A graduate of Great Falls High School, she earned her bachelor's degree in foods and nutrition from Montana State University-Bozeman. Mandi is employed at J&V Restaurant Supply and Refrigeration in Bozeman.
Brett is the son of Patrick and Patricia Zanto of Helena. A Capital High School graduate, he earned his bachelor's degree in secondary education from Montana State University-Bozeman in 2000. He is an eighth grade teacher for Bozeman Public Schools.
The couple lives in Belgrade.
Wentz and King
Nicole Wentz and Josh King were married
June 29, 2002, in Neighborhood Assembly of God Church in Helena. The Rev. Eric Hutch officiated.
The maid of honor was Brianne Eickhoff. The bridesmaids were Dana Arnold, Deena King, Elizabeth Zazueta and Leslie Redden. The flower girl was Bethany Shirk.
The best man was Daryn King; groomsmen were Allen King, Austin Smith, Jeremy Burch and Tyler Redden. Ushers were Jeff Lemons and John Quigley. The ring bearer was Benjamin Shirk.
Nicole is the beautiful daughter of Scott and Lisa Shirk of Eureka, Calif. She is employed at Montana Youth Homes, and is pursuing her associate’s degree in paralegal studies through the Paralegal Institute in Phoenix.
Josh is the son of Fred and Marsha King of Helena, and Donna Tracy of Las Vegas. He is employed at the Independent Record as a Web designer.
The couple honeymooned in Big Fork at the Marina Kay Resort.
They live happily in Helena.
Karp and Moldenhauer
Katie Jo Karp and Kit Jay Moldenhauer were married
July 21, 2002, at Staubach Creek Ranch in Winston.
The maid of honor was Lindsay Karp. The bridesmaids were Jessica Tsias, Beth Ann Karp, Jesi Anderson and Jenna McCoy. Caitlin Hoeffner was the flower girl.
The best man was Jesse Moldenhauer. Todd Kitto, Jake Martin, Jess Karp and Robert Vandervoort were the groomsmen.
Katie is the daughter of Jestin and Jolyn Karp of Winston. She graduated from high school in 2002, and is currently seeking employment.
Kit is the son of Todd and Wanda Moldenhauer of Winston. He graduated from Broadwater High School in 1999. Kit is a student at Montana Tech in Butte.
The couple is planning a honeymoon in the Bahamas.
They live in Butte.
