Jerry H. Algra
MESA, Ariz. - Jerry Algra 68, passed away in Mesa on Jan. 16, 1999. Jerry was born on March 3, 1930, in Harlowton, Mont., to Henry J. and Beulah A. (McBride) Algra.
Survivors include two daughters, Eileen Ewing of Helena, Tina Dannon of Billings; brother, Thomas Algra of Denver, Colo.; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 33 years, Shirley J. (Coley) Algra in 1998.
Cremation has taken place and memorial service is pending.

Louis D. (Louie) Antrim
Louis D. (Louie) Antrim, 82, of Billings, passed away Saturday, Jan. 30, 1999, at Valley Health Care Center with his family at his side.
Louie was born at Hibbard April 28, 1916, a son of Claude and Margaret Antrim and was raised near Musselshell and Klein. He worked at coal mines at Roundup and Klein. He was married to Verna Larson at Roundup on August 11, 1940. Louie began working for Montana Power Company in 1952 and traveled throughout Montana as a lineman and later as a line inspector until his retirement in I 978. Louie and his wife had lived at Roundup, Lewistown and Butte before moving to Billings.
Louie was an avid hunter and fisherman and liked woodworking He was a member of Corinthian Lodge #72 AF & AM of Laurel.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Verna of Billings; his daughter, Sharon (Jerry) Jones of Billings; grandchildren, Craig (Connie) Jones of Billings, Kent (Diane) Jones of Columbus, Scott (Gina) Jones of Flower Mound, Texas; his dog, Zona; five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews including two favorite nieces, Dorothy Miller and Bertha Russell both of Maple Valley, Wash.
Funeral services with Masonic Rites will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 3, 1999, at Smith Funeral Chapel in Laurel with interment in Sunset Memorial Gardens in Billings. Memorials are suggested to Corinthian Lodge #72 AF & AM, P.O. Box 536, Laurel, MT 59044.

Mary Ann Baker
SHERIDAN, Wyo. - Mary Ann (Wagner) Baker, 89, passed away Wednesday, May 5, 1999, at Sheridan Manor.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, May 10, at the Sheridan Municipal cemetery. Viewing will be from 8 a.m. until 9 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and from 8 to 9 a.m. Monday at Champion Funeral Home in Sheridan.

Albert Ray Collier
SHERIDAN, Wyo. - Albert Ray Collier, 82, passed away Monday, May 3, 1999, at the Sheridan Memorial Hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, May 10, in Champion Funeral Home in Sheridan. Interment will follow in the Sheridan Municipal cemetery. Viewing will be from 8 a.m. until 9 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and from 8 to 11 a.m. Monday.

Nora Freda Corneliusen
GLENDIVE - Nora Freda Corneliusen, age 84, of Glendive, died on Wednesday, May 5, 1999 at the Glendive Medical Center Extended Care Facility in Glendive.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, May 10, 1999 at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Glendive with Pastor James Hageman officiating. Interment will be in the Dawson Memorial cemetery in Glendive. Silvernale-Silha Funeral Home of Glendive is entrusted with arrangements.
Nora was born on Feb. 9, 1915, in Sandstone, Minn., the daughter of Carl Jacob and Bertha (Hertrich) Barnick. She was raised and educated southwest of Glendive at the Lower Crackerbox School. On Dec. 25, 1937, Nora married Carl "Ed" Edwin Corneliusen at the Barnick farm. They farmed and ranched southwest of Glendive. Nora was active on the farm and she enjoyed gardening, canning and raising chickens.
Nora was a member of the Hill and Dale Homemakers Club, was a 4-H Leader and was a member of the Lutheran Women's Missionary League at Our Savior Lutheran Church.
Survivors include her husband, Ed, of Glendive; six daughters, Marilyn Dufner and her husband Marvin of Glendive, Edith Hansen of Bismarck, N.D., Sharon Allen and her husband Paul of Billings, Ruth Sullivan and her husband John of Glendive, Connie Diegel and her husband Terry of Glendive and Renee Bennett and her husband Gary of Glendive; two sons, Arvid Corneliusen and his wife Sherry and Earl Corneliusen and his wife Beverly, all of Glendive; 22 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Nora was preceded in death by her daughter, Ileene Rice on April 30, 1999, her parents, two brothers, Lloyd and Benjamin, three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Lula L. Criswell
LIVINGSTON - Lula L. Criswell, 91, of Livingston, died Thursday, May 6, 1999, in the Livingston Health & Rehab Center.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday, May 10, in the chapel of Franzen-Davis Funeral Home in Livingston. Graveside committal and burial will be in Mountain View cemetery.

Jerome D. Engh
Jerome D. Engh, 55, of Plentywood passed away Wednesday May 5, 1999. Funeral Services will be conducted on Monday, May 10, 1999 at 2 p.m. at Fulkerson Memorial Chapel. Cremation will take place and interment will be at Crosby, N.D. at a later date.
Jerome was born June 24, 1943 in Crosby, N.D., the son of Lester and Alice Engh. In 1966 Jerome married his first wife, Diane Knutson and they had one daughter, Luann, who was born in June of 1969. Luann resides in Rock Springs, Wyo.
Then in 1983 he married Bessie Engh and they have one son, Levi, who was born in 1984. They divorced in 1989.
Jerome attended school in Crosby. N.D., and spent most of his life in the oil field and doing farmer work and other various jobs.
Jerome was well liked by everyone who knew him. He always had a joke or a story to tell. He was the kind of guy who would do anything for you, all you had to do was ask. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Jerome is survived by his sister, Nancy Montgomery of Plentywood, Mont.; a brother Howard Engh of Farmington N.M.; two children, a daughter, Luann Harper of Rock Springs, Wyo., and a son, Levi Engh of Plentywood, Mont.; his granddaughters Morgan Deal and Renee Harper of Rock Springs, Wyo.; he is also survived by several Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.
Fulkerson Funeral Home of Plentywood is in charge of arrangements.

E.D. 'Dutch' Hendricks
Eldred D. "Dutch" Hendricks, 84, passed away on April 19, 1999, at a care center in Colorado Springs, Colo., following a lengthy illness.
Dutch was a retired truck driver who had logged over one million miles in an eighteen-wheeler. He was a superb chef and owned his own cafe in Tacoma, Wash., for several years. He was a fine guitar man and for many years enjoyed playing for dances with his brothers, Bill and Jim, and their father, William.
Dutch and twin sister Mildred were born on June 5, 1914, in Klein, Mont., to William and Lucretia (Fauver) Hendricks. On March 17, 1962, he was married to Eleanor Kuntz. Preceding him in death were his wife, his sisters Ethel, Mabel, Mildred and Edna and brothers Earl and Bill.
Surviving to honor his memory are his daughter Vi, his brother James E. Hendricks of Colorado Springs; nephews James E. Hendricks, Jr. of Aurora, Colo., Charles R. and Ronald E. Hendricks of Billings; and nieces Sharon Jackson, LaVonne March and Rochelle Campbell, all of Denver.
A memorial service was held on April 23, 1999, at Evergreen Funeral Home in Colorado Springs. Inurnment was private.

Marie A. Korenko
ROUNDUP - Marie Anna Korenko, 88, passed away peacefully at the Laurel Evergreen Care Center on May 3, 1999.
She was born in Cleveland, Ohio, on Oct. 28, 1910, to Joseph and Justine Poneveriski Hlusak. She had a brother and several sisters, but not a lot is known about her life before she came to Montana.
She married John Korenko from Musselshell in Cleveland on Aug. 20, 1944. They lived on the ranch near Musselshell for several years before moving into Roundup. John died Dec. 1, 1975.
Marie was very well known in Roundup. She was proud to say she worked as a nurses aid for 38 years in Ohio and Montana. She worked at Wier Furniture and Funeral Home, Vicars Drug Store and Hospital, Maverick Bar helping Aggie, the Busy Bee, Area Two Agency on Aging, the Catholic Church for Father Sorger, The Great Falls St. Thomas Orphans Home, and many other places too numerous to mention.
She was especially proud to be a member of the Moose and achieved College of Regents status, the highest honor. She also belonged to RSVP, Senior Citizens, Hospital Auxiliary, Lutheran Home and Hospital Society, Democrat Club, Musselshell Alter Society, Melstone Alter Society, and Knights of Columbus Widow.
Marie might walk from one end of town to the other every day, she had a paper route where she delivered the Roundup Record and Grit. And it is an undisputed fact that no one could sell more raffle tickets than Marie Korenko.
Known survivors are a daughter Margaret Kemp and great-grandson Robert from Mentor, Ohio; son Joseph Antosiak of Cleveland, Ohio; sisters-in-law Olga Korenko of Billings, Roxy Korenko of Lompoc, Calif.; brother-in-law Bill and June Korenko of Bandon, Ore.; and numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and even great-great-nieces and nephews.
Viewing Friday, May 7, 5-9 Wier Funeral Chapel. Mass of the Christian Burial 10 a.m. Saturday, May 8 at St. Benedicts Catholic Church. Interment, Roundup City cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Roundup Hospital and Nursing Home or St. Benedicts Catholic Church.

Thomas C. 'Tommy' O'Brien
GLENROCK, Wyo. - Thomas C. "Tommy" O'Brien, 74, died Monday, May 3, 1999, at Wyoming Medical Center in Casper of lung cancer.
A Funeral Liturgy will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 8, in St. Louis Catholic Church in Glenrock. A Vigil will be held at 8 p.m. Friday, May 7, in St. Louis Catholic Church. Interment will be in the Glenrock cemetery. Converse Funeral Chapel of Douglas is in charge of arrangements.

Mabelle J. Peterson
GREYBULL, Wyo. - Mabelle J. Peterson, 70, died Thursday, May 6, 1999, at the Bonnie Bluejacket Memorial Nursing Home in Greybull.
Visitations will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday, May 9, at Atwood Family Funeral Chapel in Greybull. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, May 10, in Elks BPOE Lodge #1431 in Greybull. Burial will be in Mount View cemetery in Basin.

Mary Weiss Sept
BROCKWAY - Mary Weiss Sept, 96, of Brockway, died Wednesday, May 5, 1999, in the McCone County Nursing Home at Circle, Mont.
Mrs. Sept was born Oct, 14, 1902, in Romania, the daughter of John and Justine Weiss.
At the age of eight, she sailed to Quebec, Canada, with her parents, five sisters and one brother. From there they took the train to Ervin, Alberta, settling in Maple Creek, Saskatchewan. Another sister and brother were born there.
Mary and George Sept were married on Jan. 12, 1921. They moved to George's farm near Watkins, Mont., on Feb. 10, 1921. There they raised four children.
Mary was an excellent homemaker and cook. Her guests were always served her delicious coffee cake and then left with another one from her freezer.
Mary entered Holy Rosary Extended Care in Miles City in October 1996. She entered the McCone County Nursing Home in March of 1999.
She was preceded in death by her husband George, one son, Harold; four sisters, Hilda Weiss, Olga Keetley, Elsie Bradford and Anna Drefs; and one brother, Alfred.
Survivors include a daughter, Edna and her husband Richard Gackle of Circle; two sons, Herbert and his wife, Beatrice, and Bill and his wife, Reba, of Brockway; her brother Emil of Maple Creek, Saskatchewan; her sister, Lydia Faas of British Columbia; 19 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.
Visitations will be held from 2 to 9 p.m. on Sunday, May 9, at the Clayton Memorial Chapel in Circle. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, May 10, at the Evangelical Church in Circle with Rev. Derry Long officiating. Interment will be in the Brockway cemetery.

Lyle Dawson
MOSES LAKE, Wash. - Lyle Dawson, 79, of Moses Lake, formerly of Billings, passed away Wednesday, April 21, 1999, at Moses Lake.
Funeral services were held Friday, April 23, at Moses Lake. Kaysers Chapel of Memories of Moses Lake was in charge of arrangements.

Alice Bell Frisbie
LAWTON, Okla. - Alice Bell Frisbie, 96, of Lawton, formerly of Sheridan, Wyo., passed away Sunday, May 2, 1999, in Lawton.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 4, in Huddleston Funeral Home Chapel in Lawton. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 7, in Sheridan Municipal cemetery. Champion Funeral Home of Sheridan is in charge of local arrangements.

Nellie E. Honstain-Ducello
HAVRE - Nellie E. Honstain-Ducello, 82, of Havre, passed away Wednesday, May 4, 1999 at the Sheridan Memorial Hospital in Sheridan, Wyo.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. John's Catholic Church in Baker. Burial will be in St. Anthony's Catholic cemetery in Plevna. Stevenson Funeral Home of Baker is in charge of arrangements.
