Phil Grady
HINSDALE - Phil Grady, of north Hinsdale, died Sunday, Nov. 19, 1998, at Frances Mahon Deaconess Hospital in Glasgow of natural causes.
Vigil services will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 3, at St. Albert's Catholic Church in Hinsdale.
Funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 4, at the church with interment on the Grady Ranch 30 miles north of Hinsdale.

Eugene P. Dascher
GLASGOW - Eugene P. Dascher, 55, of Glasgow, died Saturday, Nov. 28, 1998, in Summerville, S.C.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 4, at the First United Methodist church with interment in the Dascher Family cemetery south of Glasgow.

Kay Vera Anderson
GLASGOW - Kay Vera Anderson, 70, of Glasgow, died Monday, Nov. 30, 1998, at Benefis East Medical Center in Great Falls of heart failure.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 4, at the Presbyterian cemetery in Minnewaukan, N.D.

Elmer Sondeno
BIG TIMBER - Elmer Sondeno, 87, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 1, 1998, in Billings.
He was born April 23, 1911, on the ranch near Lebo to Malinius and Lena (Hereim) Sondeno.
On June 7, 1936, he married
Magna Johanna Overby in Dillon.
They lived and ranched near Martinsdale until 1971 at which time they moved to Martinsdale.
In 1987 they moved to Big Timber.
She preceded him in death on Aug. 18, 1993.
He was a true rancher and enjoyed his Black Angus cattle and sheep.
He and his brothers developed irrigation systems, which they even dug some by hand.
He was deputy brand inspector in the Martinsdale area, member of the Montana Stock Growers Association and served two terms on the ASCS.
He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Martinsdale.
Elmer enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and pitching horse shoes.
He was preceded in death by two brothers: Ole and George Sondeno; four sisters: Inga Berg, Ingeborg Sondeno, Alma Bell, and Mable Orness.
Survivors include one son: Gene and Judy Sondeno, Big Timber; one daughter: Sharon and J.R. Johnston, Billings; one brother: Iver Sondeno, Big Timber; one sister: Elida Christensen, Harlowton; six grandchildren; one great-granddaughter.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 4, 1998, at Big Timber Lutheran Church with Pastor Jim Holmlund officiating the services.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 4, 1998, at Lennep Memorial Park, Lennep.

CIRCLE - Fern E. Jensen, 95, died Saturday, Nov. 28, 1998, at the McCone County Nursing Home.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 3, at the First Lutheran Church with interment in Riverview cemetery.

James Montfort
VANDALIA - James Montfort, 84, of Vandalia, died Saturday, Nov. 28, 1998, at Frances Mahon Deaconess Hospital in Glasgow of chronic bronchitis.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 3, at the First United Methodist Church with interment in Highland cemetery, both in Glasgow.

Jennifer Leigh Deromedi
THERMOPOLIS, Wyo. - Jennifer Leigh Deromedi, 23, died Saturday, Nov. 28, 1998, in a drowning accident south of Worland.
No services are planned at this time.

Herbert A. Morris
LEWISTOWN - Herbert A. Morris, 76, died Sunday, Nov. 29, 1998, at the Central Montana Medical Center after a short illness.
Cremation has taken place.
A Memorial Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 3, at St. Leo's Catholic Church.

Frances 'Fran' Hurick
Frances "Fran" Hurick, age 92, of Billings, passed away Sunday morning Nov. 29, 1998, at the Valley Health Care Center in Billings.
Fran was born Aug. 30, 1906, in Dickinson, N.D., a daughter of Peter and Caroline Matz.
She was raised and educated in Dickinson where she graduated from high school.
She married
Laudie Hurick in Dickinson in 1924.
In 1926 they moved to Minneapolis until 1934 when they moved to Glendive.
Then they moved to Billings in 1940.
Fran worked at the Singer Sewing Center from 1948 until 1955 then in 1962 she went to work as a saleslady at the Post Office Newsstand until her retirement in 1985.
She was a member of St. Patrick's Co-Cathedral.
Her main hobby was sewing.
Fran is survived by a son, Dorman Hurick and his wife, Jackie of Billings; a granddaughter, Kim (Loren) Willis of St. Paul, Minn.; and a great-grandson, Cameron Willis, also of St. Paul.
A vigil service will be held 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 2, 1998, at Smith Downtown Chapel.
A funeral mass will be held 12 noon Thursday, Dec. 3, at St. Patrick's Co-Cathedral.
Cremation will follow these services.
Memorials may be made to the Ronald McDonald House or to the charity of one's choice.
