Clarice Elizabeth Holzer, 89, longtime Stanford resident, died Monday evening, Dec. 12, 2005, at the Central Montana Skilled Nursing Center in Lewistown. Funeral liturgy for Clarice E. Holzer will be at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Stanford on Friday, Dec. 16 at 10 a.m. Recitation of the Rosary will be at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church on Thursday, Dec. 15 at 7 p.m. Interment will be at the Stanford cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Judith Basin County Library or St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church for stained glass windows. Creel Funeral Home of Lewistown is in charge of arrangements.

Bill Nole Short, 79, of Three Forks, died on Friday, Dec. 9, 2005, at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Billings. Memorials: Special Olympics of Montana. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 14 at 11 a.m. from the Holy Family Parish at Three Forks with Father Tim Moriarty officiating. Interment with military honors will follow at the Fairview cemetery at Three Forks. K&L Mortuaries of Three Forks are in charge of the arrangements.
Louise Maurie Burnham
Louise Maurie Burnham, 73, of Helena, went in peace to the Lord on Dec. 9, 2005. Louise was born in Dodson on Nov. 11, 1932, to Harold and Virginia Kibbee. She married
her heart’s love, Gary D. Burnham, at Eddies Corner (Moore) in August of 1971. They lived on the Burnham Ranch until 1981, when they moved to Denton near LP gas and fertilizer. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Helena Funeral Chapel has completed the arrangements.
Lucile Lamb
Our beloved wife, mother, sister and friend, Lucile Lamb, left this earth on Dec. 8, 2005, to join the angels in heaven after battling a long illness of MS in Townsend. She will be missed by family and friends. Memorial services were held Sunday, Dec. 11 at 2 p.m. at K & L Mortuary, Three Forks. Internment was at Fairview cemetery , Three Forks. Contributions may be made in her memory to the Broadwater Health Center, 110 N. Oak St, Townsend, Mont. 59644 or to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
Dale E. Bacon
Dale E. Bacon, 46, passed away in Anchorage, Alaska, of an apparent heart attack on Dec. 11, 2005. Dale is the son of Ed Bacon, of Hobson, and Joan Nelson, of Moore. Services are pending.
Grace Hillier
Grace Hillier, 89, of Billings, died of natural causes Tuesday morning at Evergreen Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born Aug. 3, 1916, the daughter of Charles and Sylvia (La Valley) Hillier. She received her schooling in Dawson County and graduated from high school in 1934. Graveside services for Grace Hillier were held Monday, March 20 in the Dawson County cemetery. Cremation has taken place, at Grace’s request. Cloyd Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Friends are asked to make memorials to the American Heart Association, the American Cancer Institute, or the charity of their choice, and the memorials may be left at Cloyd Funeral Home.
Clarence P. Mann
Clarence P. Mann, a Prineville resident, passed away on Friday, Feb. 17, 2006. He was 91 years old. At his request, no public services will be held. Cremation was held at the Prineville Heritage Crematory under the direction of the Prineville Funeral Home. Mann was born on Oct. 20, 1914, in Apex Wake, N.C., the son of Irvin and Agnes (Burt) Mann. It has been suggested that those wishing to make a memorial contribution in Mr. Mann's memory direct any contributions to the Cancer Relay for Life. Arrangements are in the care of the Prineville Funeral Home.
Terrence E. “Terry” Finn
Terrence E. “Terry” Finn, 84, died Sunday, March 12, 2006, at the Central Montana Skilled Nursing Center. Terry was born Aug. 29, 1921, at his parents’ home in Forest Grove. He was the second child born to John and Alma (Mull) Finn, longtime residents of the Forest Grove area and Lewistown. Funeral services were held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1000 Wicks Lane in Billings on Friday, March 17 at 11 a.m. Burial with Military Honors by American Legion Post #4 was at Red Lodge cemetery. Creel Funeral Home of Lewistown assisted the family with arrangements.

Duane W. “Bud” Heller, 85, died Thursday, March 16, 2006 at Central Montana Medical Center following a stroke. Bud was born March 18, 1920 in Winifred to William R. and Minnie C. (Boehmer) Heller. Funeral Services for Duane W. “Bud” Heller were held at St. Paul Lutheran Church on March 20. Burial with Military Honors by Fergus American Legion Post #16 were at Lewistown City cemetery. Memorials are suggested to St. Paul Lutheran Church; to the Medical Center Foundation Ambulance Fund; or to the charity of donor’s choice. Creel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Alice "Allie Mae" Stoner, age 76, of Boulder, Mont. passed away Thursday, March 9, at her residence at Boulder. She was born June 25, 1929 at Dodson, Mont. to John and Harrietta (Palmer) Werle.
