Ralph Kucera, 80, of Lewistown, died Saturday, Dec. 30, 2000 at the Central Montana Skilled Nursing Center. Funeral services will be held at Creel Funeral Chapel on Friday, Jan. 5 at 10 a.m. Burial with military honors by Fergus American Legion Post No. 16 will be at Lewistown City cemetery.

Joseph K. Cecrle, 87, died Friday afternoon, Dec. 29 at Central Montana Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at Creel Funeral Chapel on Thursday, Jan. 4, 2001 at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be at Mount Calvary cemetery.

Elizabeth Bethia MacKenzie Casey, 81, passed away at her home in Lewistown on Jan. 2, 2001. Services will be held at First Presbyterian Church on Friday, Jan. 5 at 1 p.m. Interment will follow at the Lewistown City cemetery.
Betty Lou Fry
Betty Lou Fry, 62, of Lewistown, died suddenly early Saturday, Dec. 30, 2000 at Central Montana Medical Center after a long illness with diabetes and COPD. Funeral services will be Wednesday, Jan. 3 at 2 p.m. at Emmanuel Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Lewistown City cemetery.
Dr. William C. "Doc" Shaver
Dr. William C. "Doc" Shaver, 78, longtime Lewistown optometrist, died Tuesday evening, Dec. 26, 2000 at Central Montana Medical Center of natural causes. At his request, private family services were held followed by cremation.
Claude B. Erlandson
Claude B. Erlandson, 84, of Missoula, passed away Friday, Dec. 22, 2000 at St. Patrick Hospital of natural causes. Cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time.
Margaret Ruth (Simac) Landru
Margaret Ruth (Simac) Landru, 75, of Lewistown, died Tuesday evening, Dec. 26, 2000 at her home of cancer. Memorial services were held Friday, Dec. 29 at 11 a.m. in the Cloyd Chapel. Private inurnment will be in the Lewistown City cemetery at a later date.
William V. Sturtz
William V. Sturtz, 78, died Sunday, Dec. 24, 2000 at Central Montana Skilled Nursing Center following a lengthy illness. A memorial service will be held at First Presbyterian Church on Thursday, Jan. 4 at 2 p.m. Cremation has taken place. Inurnment will be at Lewistown City cemetery at a later date.

Knute Moe, 87, of Danvers, died Tuesday morning, Dec. 26, 2000 at Central Montana Skilled Nursing Center. Funeral services were held Friday, Dec. 29 at 10:30 a.m. Burial was at the Lewistown City cemetery.

Bernice Gore Brown, 98, of Mesa, Ariz., formerly of Lewistown, died Monday, Dec. 25, 2000 at the Neely Ray Hospice House in Gilbert, Ariz. Funeral services will be at Creel Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, Jan. 9 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be at Lewistown City cemetery.
Larry H. "Roy" Long
Larry H. "Roy" Long, 85, of Lewistown, passed away peacefully at Central Montana Medical Center Thursday morning, Dec. 21, 2000 after a short illness. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Dec. 26 in the Cloyd Chapel. Interment followed in the Lewistown City cemetery.

Delores Puckett died peacefully at her home in Billings Monday, Dec. 18, 2000. Funeral services were held Saturday, Dec. 23 at Billings Bible Church. Interment was in the Roy cemetery.
Marimavis “Boots” (McCartney) Merry
Marimavis “Boots” Merry, 67, of Circle, passed away Saturday, March 31, 2001 at her home, her brave battle with cancer finally over. Funeral services were held Friday, April 6 at the Evangelical Church of North America in Circle with Pastor Scott Anderson officiating. Interment was in the Riverview Center in Circle.
George B. Eusterman Jr.
George B. (“Hoot”) Eusterman Jr., M.D., 79, of Great Falls, died Tuesday evening, April 3, 2001 at his home after an extended illness from bone cancer. A funeral service was held Saturday, April 7 at Holy Family Church in Great Falls, with an honor guard burial at Mount Olivet cemetery.

Edward R. Robison, 40, of Lewistown, died Thursday morning, April 5, 2001 at his home. Memorial services will be Tuesday, April 10 at 2 p.m. in the Cloyd Chapel. Burial of cremains will be in the Lewistown City cemetery.

William F. Cervenka, 87, longtime resident of Benchland and Lewistown, died Wednesday, March 28, 2001 following an extended illness. A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, April 14 at 2 p.m. at United Methodist Church in Lewistown.

Carolyn Finucane, 75, died from natural causes at Central Montana Medical Center Sunday, June 24, 2001. Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 28 at 10 a.m. at Celebration Community Fellowship Church. Interment will follow in the family plot in Lewistown City cemetery.

Donald A. Olden, 70, beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend, passed away June 23, 2001. Funeral services were held Wednesday, June 27 at Our Redeemer's Lutheran Church. Interment will be in Lewistown City cemetery Thursday, June 28 at 12:30 p.m.

Ruba I. Paulson, 89, of Lewistown, died Saturday, June 16, 2001 at Central Montana Medical Center of natural causes. At her request no services will be held. Cremation has taken place with inurnment in Central Montana Memorial Gardens.
