James John Gould, 68, died early Monday morning, Nov. 6, 2000 at his residence following a lengthy illness of cancer. Graveside services with military honors by Fergus American Legion Post No. 16 will be held at Lewistown City cemetery on Friday, Nov. 10 at 11 a.m. Cremation has taken place.

Alethea (Billington) O’Neill, 81, of Lodi, Calif., passed away Nov. 6, 2000 at a convalescent home in Lodi of natural causes. Funeral services will be held Sunday, Nov. 12 at 1 p.m. at Camino Seventh-day Adventist Church. Private committal will be at Camino cemetery in Camino, Calif.

Leon Jacobs, 82, of Lewistown, died early Wednesday morning, Nov. 1, 2000 at Central Montana Medical Center following a short illness. Memorial services will be Saturday, Nov. 4 at 11 a.m. in the Cloyd Chapel.

Jackie Ellen (Marks) Gustafson, 81, of Lewistown, died Monday, Oct. 30, 2000 at Central Montana Skilled Nursing Center of natural causes. Funeral services were held Wednesday, Nov. 1 at 11 a.m. in Cloyd Chapel. Interment followed in Central Montana Memorial Gardens. Memorial services will be Saturday, Nov. 4 at 2 p.m. in Community Presbyterian Church in Terry.

Patricia Belle Rook, 67, of Billings, died Oct. 28, 2000 at her home. A memorial service will be held Monday, Nov. 13 at 1 p.m. at the Moose Lodge in Harlowton.

Christopher "Chris" Peter Wiedenman, 49, of Annex, Ore., passed away Sunday, Oct. 29, 2000 at his home. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 2 at Thomason Funeral Chapel in Weiser, Idaho. Burial followed at Fairview cemetery in Annex, Ore.

William E. Ille, 82, of Great Falls, died Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 25, 2000 in Benefis East Hospital following a brief illness. Funeral services were held Sunday, Oct. 29 at 1 p.m. in the Cloyd Chapel. Interment followed in the Lewistown City cemetery.

Ellen (Nell) Elizabeth Borgreen, 88, of Great Falls, died Oct. 22, 2000 in Lewistown of natural causes. A vigil service was held Thursday, Oct. 26 at 5 p.m. at O'Connor Memorial Chapel. Funeral mass was Friday, Oct. 27 at 1:30 p.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Interment followed at Mt. Olivet cemetery.

Anton Frank Barta Jr., 85, died early Saturday morning, Oct. 21, 2000 at Valle Vista Manor. Vigil services were held at St. Leo's Catholic Church on Thursday, Oct. 26 at 7 p.m. Cremation took place following the vigil service. Inurnment with military honors by Fergus American Legion Post will be at the Lewistown City cemetery at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 31.

A vigil for Frank Joseph Slifka was held at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2000 at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Townsend. Mass of Christian burial was at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 26 at Holy Cross Catholic Church. Interment followed at Holy Cross cemetery.

Isabell (Frood) Rogers, 83, passed away Oct. 7, 2000 in Phoenix, Ariz. Graveside services were held Oct. 11 at Resthaven Park cemetery.

Beverly Ellen Nicholson, 49, of Buffalo, died Thursday afternoon, Oct. 19, 2000 at Central Montana Medical Center after a courageous battle with breast cancer. A vigil service was held Tuesday evening, Oct. 24 at 7 p.m. Funeral liturgy was held at St. Leo's Catholic Church on Wednesday, Oct. 25 at 10 a.m. Burial was at Philbrook cemetery.

Correy A. Clayton, 14, of Moore, died Thursday afternoon, Oct. 19, 2000 at Central Montana Medical Center. Graveside services were held Monday, Oct. 23 at 3:30 p.m. in the Beaver Creek cemetery.

Otto Spidel, 92, of Lewistown, formerly of Brockway, passed away Sunday, Dec. 10, 2000 at Valle Vista Manor in Lewistown. A memorial service will be held at Moore United Methodist Church on Thursday, Dec. 14 at 2 p.m. Cremation has taken place.

Ernest R. Logan, 93, died Sunday evening, Dec. 10, 2000 at Central Montana Skilled Nursing Center. Memorial services will be held at St. James Episcopal Church on Friday, Dec. 15 at 1 p.m. Cremation has taken place.

Floyd F. Garber, 70, of Hobson, died early Saturday morning, Dec. 9, 2000 at his home after a battle with cancer. Memorial services were held Wednesday, Dec. 13 at 2 p.m. in the Cloyd Chapel. Inurnment followed in the veteran's section of the Lewistown City cemetery.

Virginia Williams, 77, of Spokane, passed away recently (November 25, 2000) while visiting her son in Oswego, Ore. Memorial services were held at Audubon Park United Methodist Church.

Burton Raw, 83, passed away of natural causes at the family ranch near Garneill early Thursday night, Nov. 30, 2000. Committal was held Saturday, Dec. 2 at the Moore cemetery. Graveside memorial services were held Saturday, Dec. 9 at 2 p.m. at the Moore cemetery.

Rachel Elaine Andersen, 94, of Lewistown, died early Monday morning, Dec. 4, 2000 at her of natural causes. Funeral services were held Wednesday, Dec. 6 at 2 p.m. in the Cloyd Chapel. Services and burial will be later under the direction of Memorial Estates Mortuary in Salt Lake City.
Evelyn (Williams Browning) Anderson
Evelyn Anderson, 79, of Anchorage, Alaska, and Mesa, Ariz., died at Providence Alaska Medical Center on Sunday, Dec. 3, 2000. A celebration of her life was held at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Anchorage at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 7.
