Patrick John Byrne, 70, of Great Falls, passed away Saturday, June 3, 2000 at a Great Falls hospital while recuperating from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Vigil services were Monday, June 5 at 7 p.m. at O'Connor Memorial Chapel. Funeral liturgy was held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 6 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Burial followed in Mount Olivet Cemetery.

Leonard O. LaTray, 79, former longtime resident of Lewistown, died Tuesday, May 30, 2000 at his residence in Great Falls of natural causes. Funeral services were held at Creel Funeral Home in Lewistown on Monday, June 5 at 11 a.m. Burial was at Central Montana Memorial Gardens.

Oscar V. Swan, 77, of Lewistown, died early Tuesday morning, Aug. 29, 2000 at his home of cancer. Memorial services will be Saturday, Sept. 2 at 11 a.m. in St. Leo's Catholic Church.

E. L. "Gene" Landers, 89, who opened a hardware store in Lewistown in 1941, died on Aug. 27, 2000 at Central Montana Medical Center. Memorial services will be held Monday, Sept. 4 at 11 a.m. at St. Leo's Catholic Church.

Cecil C. Flinders, 89, died Friday morning, Aug. 25, 2000 at Central Montana Medical Center. Memorial services will be held at Creel Funeral Chapel on Thursday, Aug. 31 at 11 a.m. Cremation has taken place. Inurnment will be at the Lewistown City Cemetery.

Shane D. Sheesley, 32, of Rapid City, S.D., died Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2000 as the result of an airport accident. Christian wake services were held at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 27 at Cathedral of Our Lady of Perpetual Help. Mass of Christian burial was offered at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 28 at Cathedral of Our Lady of Perpetual Help. Interment was at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Rapid City. This was a joint service for Shane Sheesley and Thomas Vermeulen, who were victims of the same accident.

Elsie M. Hartford, 76, of Lewistown, died Thursday afternoon, Aug. 24, 2000 at Central Montana Medical Center of natural causes. A memorial gathering was held Saturday, Aug. 26 at 5 p.m. at 616 Second Street West in Lewistown. Cremation has taken place with family graveside services to be held in the Lewistown City Cemetery.

Arly V. Koetitz, formerly of Grass Range, died Wednesday morning, Nov. 6, 2000 at his home in Great Falls after an eight month battle with cancer. Funeral services are pending.
