JAMES FRED SINCLAIR
CHARLO -- James Fred Sinclair, 81, died on Oct. 27, 2001, at the St. Luke Extended Care Facility in Ronan.
He was born March 1, 1920, in Missouri to Fred and Ethyl Mae Sinclair.
Jim went to school in Ronan and then went into the ironworking profession, specializing in dam construction and high-rise buildings. He retired from the ironworkers in 1987 and lived in Bethel, CA, before returning to Montana in 1995. He and his wife, Ida Mae, lived in Stevensville before moving to Charlo in 1998.
"Gentleman Jim," as he was often called, loved to fish and loved boating. In his earlier years, he was an avid hunter.
Jim was preceded in death by his first wife, Virginia, in 1986, and by his second wife, Ida Mae, in 2001.
He is survived by his son, Jesse Cheff (Charlo); his daughters, Sharon Graves (Rodeo, CA) and Patricia Sinclair (Phoenix); grandchildren Steve, Patti, Cheri, Darwin, Amanda, Carla and Ed; 13 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services were Nov. 2 at the First Baptist Church in Ronan. Burial was at Calvary Cemetery in Ronan.
Those wishing to make donations in Jim's memory may do so to the Lake County Home Health and Hospice or to a charity of their choice.
RON D. 'BAM' TWO TEETH
ARLEE -- Ron D. "Bam" Two Teeth, 35, died on Nov. 16, 2001, from injuries sustained in an auto accident near St. Ignatius.
Bam was born in Helena on April 25, 1966, to Chuck and Sarah (Moran) Two Teeth.
A lifelong resident of the Arlee area, he studied heavy machinery operation at the Missoula vo-tech before entering the work force where he worked for the Louisiana-Pacific mill in Missoula and as a firefighter on the Flathead Indian Reservation. Most recently, he had worked for Jore Inc. of Ronan.
A member of the Chippewa-Cree Tribe of the Rocky Boy Reservation, he has left many wonderful memories with his friends and family whom he loved to hang out with. He enjoyed playing basketball and working on the keno machines. He was also an avid collector of basketball cards.
Bam married young in life to Bonnie Acsencio, with whom he had three children; they later divorced. He later remarried, to Lynn Grant, and they had three children.
Preceding him in death were his paternal grandparents, John and Rosie Two Teeth, maternal grandparents Ernie and Alice Moran and numerous aunts and uncles.
Survivors include his wife, Lynn Two Teeth; his parents, Sarah and Chuck Two Teeth; five sisters, Gloria Tanner, Delores "Kathy" McClure, Stacey Two Teeth and Terry Two Teeth (all of Arlee), and Carmie LaMere (Helena); a brother, Troy Two Teeth (Buford, S.C.); his daughters, Kristen, Maureena, Marissa, Sarah and Veronica, and son Justin; his special friend, Sunni Charlo (Arlee); as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Traditional wake services began Nov. 17 at the Longhouse. Mass was celebrated Nov. 19 at the St. Ignatius Catholic Mission. Interment followed at the Jocko Catholic Cemetery near Arlee.
Pallbearers were Basil Tanner, Les Fisher, Gale Hendrickx, Joe Butterfly, Troy Two Teeth, Lloyd Irvine Jr., and Lance Friedlander. Honorary bearers were Billy Moran, Leonard Two Teeth, Brian Tanner, Ed Tanner, Mike McClure, Lee Grant Jr., Lloyd Two Teeth, Kevin Two Teeth, Rick Two Teeth, Mike Moran Jr., Lee Grant Sr., and all of his friends and firefighting buddies.
LUCILLE P. YOUNG
POLSON -- Lucille P. Young, 84, died at her home here on Nov. 7, 2001, of natural causes.
She was born March 17, 1917, in Minot, ND, to Jos and Mary Polka. She grew up and attended schools in Minot.
She married Laurence Young on Jan. 17, 1956, in Williston, ND. They moved to Polson in 1957. She and Larry purchased and operated the Lakeview Court Motel in Polson until 1978. They purchased a cherry orchard on Hillcrest Drive in Polson, where they had since resided.
Lucille loved music, sewing, small animals and especially taking care of her family and her home.
She is survived by her husband, Larry (Polson); two sons: George Young and his wife, Amy, and their son, Lance (all of Boise, ID), and Gary Young and his wife, Alida, and their sons, Bret and Darrell (all of Battle Ground, WA); and one sister, Leona Dovell (CA).
A memorial service was held Nov. 9 at the Grogan Funeral Home in Polson with the Rev. Edwina Aker officiating. Inurnment followed at Lakeview Cemetery, Polson.
