Ronald Francis Albert
ROSEVILLE, Calif. – Born June 15, 1937 in Seattle and passed away April 7, 2000, in Roseville. Ronald was 62 years old.
He was the adopted son of Charles and Genevieve Albert. He is survived by his loving wife of 14 years, Edith Webster Albert; half brother, John Bachman; and half sister, Barb Armour; sons, Kenneth and Daniel; and daughters, Paige and Dina. He also leaves behind his six grandchildren, Sean, Bradley, Casey, Mitchell, Samuel, Jack and Thomas (note: all boys)
Ron graduated from O’Dea high school in 1955. He was discharged from the U.S Navy in 1962. Ron went on to graduate from the American School of Banking in 1967. Ron retired from his position as VP lending officer of Colorado National Bank in 1992.
He spent tine last eight years of his life playing bridge, fishing and cooking. Ron loved to travel with his wife Edith, and they lived in many different cities together. He will be greatly missed by all his friends and family and will always remain in our hearts.
Any donations should be to the American Heart Association, in memory of Ronald Albert.
Services will be held Friday, April 14, 2000, 12 noon, at Holy Rosary Church of Edmonds, Wash. Arrangements by Chapel of the Valley in Roseville.

SHERIDAN, Wyo. – Joan Ida Alden, 69, died Friday, April 7, 2000, at Westview Health Care Center.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday in Hendersonville, N.C., with Shuler and Luck Funeral Home in charge. Kane Funeral Home is in charge of Sheridan arrangements.
James N. Gowen
SHERIDAN, Wyo. – James Newton Gowen, 71, died Saturday, April 8, 2000, at the Billings Deaconess Hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 11, 2000, at Kane Funeral Home in Sheridan with burial in the Oregon Trail Veterans cemetery in Casper.

ABSAROKEE – Melody Kay Whiteley, 53, died Sunday, April 9, 2000, at Beartooth Manor in Columbus.
Graveside services will be held in Kellogg, Idaho. Smith Funeral Chapel in Laurel was in charge of local arrangements.
Helen Spencer
BUFFALO, Wyo. – Helen Spencer, 94, died Saturday, April 8, 2000, at the Johnson County Health Care Center.
Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Tuesday and from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday before the services at 2 p.m. Wednesday, all at the Adams Funeral Home. Graveside services will be at Willow Grove cemetery.

SHERIDAN, Wyo. – Fay Vollbrecht, 93, died Saturday, April 8, 2000, at Memorial Hospital.
Private graveside services will be held in the Elks Section of Sheridan Municipal cemetery. Ferries Funeral Home is in charge.
Betty Lou Sterling
BOZEMAN – Betty Lou Sterling, 74, died Thursday, April 6, 2000, at her home of natural causes.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. Dokken-Nelson Funeral Home is in charge.

LIVINGSTON – Vincent “Vince” Veto Jr., 66, died Sunday, April 9, 2000, at Deaconess Medical Center in Billings.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Holbrook United Methodist Church with graveside committal and burial in Mountain View cemetery. Franzen-Davis Funeral Home is in charge.
Edna P. Patterson
SHERIDAN, Wyo. – Edna Patricia Patterson, 82, died Friday, April 7, 2000, at Westview Health Care Center.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Kane Funeral Home. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Kane Funeral Home with burial in the Elks cemetery.
Kenton A. Stickney
ISMAY – Kenton A. Stickney, 88, died Monday, April 10, 2000, at Quality Personal Care Center in Baker.
A prayer service will begin at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Stevenson’s Funeral Home in Baker. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Ismay Community Church with burial in the Westmore cemetery.
Frank George Kohl
LAUREL – Frank George Kohl, 71, of Laurel, passed away at Deaconess Hospital in Billings on Saturday afternoon, April 8, 2000, of massive heart failure.
Frank was born the son of Anton and Anna Gartner Kohl in Lefor, N.D., on July 26, 1928. When he was 6 years old, they moved to the Laurel area and surrounding areas where they farmed. He loved farming and was a great farmer.

Martha Krug on April 14, 1951. They have six wonderful daughters.
Frank is survived by his wife, Martha; daughters, Linda (Bob) Doyle, Karen Kohl (Steve Runkles), Colleen Waggoner, Cynthia (Gregg) Saatzer, Brenda (Dale) LeBrun, and Janet (David) Bohach; 15 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Betty Stricker and Kathy (Gary) Segmiller; and a sister-in-law, Darlene Kohl, all of Billings.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, a brother and a granddaughter.
He loved his family, especially his grandchildren, and was always happy to have them around.
We all love you very much Dad and Grandpa! You will be in our hearts and we will love you forever. Until we see you again!
Funeral Service at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 12, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Laurel. Interment at the Laurel cemetery. Visitation on Tuesday, from 1 - 9 p.m. at Smith Funeral Chapel in Laurel.
Michael C. Anderson
LAVINA – Michael C. Anderson (Mikey C.) of Lavina, went home to his maker on Sunday morning, April 9, 2000, at Three Forks.
His wish was to give his eyes and organs to those in need, but was not granted that wish. His second wish was to be cremated. Third, he asked those that knew him, if something was to be buried, let it be his faults, his weaknesses and all his prejudices against his fellow man. Give his sins to the devil and his soul to God. If by chance some wished to remember him to do it with a kind deed or word to someone in need. If this is done he will live forever.
Mikey is survived by wife and friend, Myrna; his parents, Clifford and Evelyn Anderson, Hayward Wis.; daughter, Kelly Anderson Green Bay, Wis.; son, Sean Anderson, Billings; sister, Donna (Roscoe) Pringle, Hayward; brothers, Ross (Barb) Valparaiso, Indiana, Tom (Jan) Anderson, Madison, Wis.; the mother of his children, Jean Anderson, Green Bay; Myrna’s children, Brett Wilken, Sid Wilken, Penny King, Brenda Sandbak, Bryan Wilken and families; Myrna’s parents, Miller and Esther Boe; brother-in-laws, Sid (Lois) and Terry Boe.
There will be a get together at the Cozy corner, Lavina, Mont., at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 15, for friends and co-workers he loved so much.
Ronald P. Lux
GLASGOW – Ronald P. Lux of Glasgow passed away Sunday, April 9, 2000, at Billings Deaconess Hospital. He is survived by his wife, Sharon and two sons, George (Pauline) Lux and Doug (Krista) Lux, and five grandchildren, Jessica Haggarty, Kieran, Siobhan, Cody and Kayla Lux.
Memorial Mass will be held Thursday, April 13, at 12 Noon at St. Raphael Catholic Church in Glasgow. Memorials may be sent to Yellowstone Boys and Girls Ranch, 1732 S. 72nd St. W., Billings, MT 59106, or a charity of choice. Arrangements by Cremation or Funeral Gallery.
Henry William Young
Henry Young, 97, of Billings, passed away 3:50 p.m. Sunday, April 9, at the Parkview Care Center of natural causes. Mr. Young was born on a farm near Carmen, Okla., Feb. 11, 1903, the son of Henry and Kathryn (Wombold)Young.
The Youngs moved to Montana in 1916 and fanned near Fromberg and Bridger. Henry met his wife-to-be, Olive Rose Smith, in Billings and they were married
at Roundup in 1924.
Henry was raised a master mason in Ashlar Lodge No. 29 of Billings, June 6, 1947, and later became master of the lodge in 1959. He was a life member of Al Bedoo Shrine.
He was stationary engineer for Midland Packing Co. of Billings for many years and later retired from that company.
Survivors include his son, Donald of Billings and three grandchildren, Lory Jennings and Bruce Young of Billings and Bradley Young of Libby. Cremation has taken place. Memorial service with Masonic Rites will be 2 p.m. Friday at Cremation or Funeral Gallery 8th St. W. & St. Johns Ave. Private inurnment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Cremation Society of Montana.
Perry Keith ‘Pudge’ Lieuallen
SHONSHONI, Wyo. – Perry Keith “Pudge” Lieuallen, 72, of Shoshoni, died Thursday, April 6, 2000. Services are Saturday, April 22, at 11 a.m. at Shoshoni Senior Citizens’ Center.
Pudge was born near Wheatland on May 15, 1927, to Perry N. Lieuallen and Mae (Hutchison) Lieuallen. He attended school at Antelope Gap, Bordeaux, Chugwater, and Salt Lake. He started riding range for Swan Cattle Co. at age 9. He worked as a ranch hand, heavy equipment operator, foreman and rancher.
He worked in Wyoming, Montana, South Dakota, Utah, New Mexico, Alaska, Oregon, Washington and in Peru and Okinawa, Japan. He served in WWII.
He was married
to Vi Apadaca and they had three daughters.
In later years, he lived in Shoshoni where he spent his time helping friends and neighbors.
He was an avid horseman, antique and rock collector.
He is survived by his mother, Mae Morss of Riverton; a daughter, Cheryl Lieuallen of Buffalo; four grandchildren, Jerod “Jake” Whitman of Hermosa, S.D., Rodie Whitman of Weatherford, Texas, Brian Johnson of Phoenix, and Celeste “Dusty” Turner of Moorcroft; and two great-grandsons, Casey and Tucker. Pudge was preceded in death by his father, Perry Nathan Lieuallen; two brothers, Clayton Morss and Craig Nathan Lieuallen; and two daughters, Linda Lou and Francis Rae.

Marguerite Welsh
Marguerite Welsh, 93, of Bilings, passed away on April 7, 2000, at St. Johns Lutheran Home in Billings, Mont. She was born the daughter of Edward L. and Martha E. (Duly) McQuiston on July 13, 1906, in Kansas City, Mo. Marguerite moved to Bursett, Mont., where she attended grade school and Sumatra High School. She was united in marriage to Everett E. Welsh on April 23, 1927, in Roundup, Mont. After their marriage, they resided in Musselshell, Mont. In 1936, they moved to Billings, Mont., where Marguerite was employed as a bookkeeper and a seamstress for exclusive dress shops. She enjoyed knitting, sewing doll clothes, gardening, painting and her button collection. Marguerite, your family will always remember you for your kindness and generosity, thank you for all the special memories, we love you and will miss you.
She is survived by her son, Jack Welsh (Betty) of Billings; her sister, Cornelia Harbaugh of Jordan, Mont.; daughter-in-law, Darlene of Billings; grandchildren, Jerry (Sheryl), Barry, Vickie (Kelly), Cindy (Dan), Randy (Cathy); three step-grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, eight step-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett; son, Frederick; sister, Hazel Johnson; and brother, Edward McQuiston and nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens on Wednesday, April 12, at 2 p m. Memorials may be made to St. John’s Lutheran Nursing Home or Shepherd Volunteer Fire Dept. Dahl Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
