Floyd Barlow 'Bus' Ellis
DENTON - Floyd Barlow "Bus" Ellis, 82, lifelong Denton resident, died Monday, Jan. 17, 2000, at the Central Montana Medical Center of natural causes. Floyd was born Dec. 22, 1917, at Denton, the only child born to Harlow and Edith (Smith) Ellis, and graduated from Denton High School.
On Oct. 22, 1941, he was united in marriage to Henrietta Van Haur in Lewistown. They have farmed and ranched in the Everson Bench-Denton area ever since.
Floyd was active in the FFA. He enjoyed woodworking, hunting, fishing, camping, skiing and skating with his children. He owned his own caterpillar and did excavation work, building dams and roads.
Survivors include his wife, Henrietta Ellis of Denton; three daughters: Eloise (Charles) Ellis Wisenhunt of Missoula, Henrietta Ellis Chiappone of Denton, and Harriette Ellis Brandon of Billings. In addition, he is survived by six grandchildren: Keith Class of Denton, Nada Colton of Washington, D.C., Brian (Michelle) Brandon of Billings, Lori Brandon of Billings,, Adam Chiappone of Sonoma, Calif., and Kevin Chiappone of San Rafael, Calif. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services for Floyd Ellis will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 21, at the Denton Community United Methodist Church. The casket will be open until the time of services and remain closed thereafter. Interment will be at the Hillcrest cemetery in Denton.
Memorials are suggested to the Denton Chapter FFA; to the Denton Ambulance Fund; or to the charity of one's choice.

LIVINGSTON - Eva Shelhamer, 76, died Sunday, Jan. 16, 2000, at her home.
Cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 21, at Franzen-Davis Funeral Home, 118 N. 3rd St. Interment of cremains will follow at Mountain View cemetery. Franzen-Davis Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge.

BERKELEY, Calif. - Alice M. West, 100, formerly of Billings, died Monday, Dec. 17, at a Berkeley hospital.
No services are planned in Billings.
Carrie Kraus
CODY, Wyo. - Carrie Kraus, 91, also of Burlington, and Denver, died Monday, Jan. 17, 2000, in Denver.
A mass for Carrie will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 22, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Cody. Interment will follow in Riverside cemetery.
Fannie Dolores Blank
SAN JOSE, Calif. - Fannie Dolores (Shepard) Blank, 70, and formerly of Greybull, Wyo., died Sunday, Jan. 16, 2000.
Visitations will be 5-8 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 23, at the Atwood Family Chapel in Greybull. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 24, at the Zion Lutheran Church in Emblem, Wyo. Interment will be in the Otto cemetery, Otto, Wyo. Atwood Family Funeral Directors, Inc. is in charge.
Kenneth D. Weigum
ROUNDUP - Kenneth D. Weigum, 66, died on Saturday, Jan. 16, 2000, at the Roundup Nursing Home of natural causes.
Cremation has taken place, and at this time no services are planned. Wier Funeral Home was in charge.
Margaret E. Gannon
WICHITA, Kan. - Margaret Elizabeth Gannon, 73, and formerly of Wibaux, Mont., died on Monday, Jan. 17, 2000.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 22, at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Wibaux. Interment will be in the Dawson Memorial cemetery in Glendive, Mont. Silvernale-Silha Funeral Homes of Wibaux and Glendive are in charge.
Ronald Dean Anderson
CROW AGENCY - Ronald Dean Anderson, 35, of Crow Agency, died Sunday, Jan. 16, 2000, of injuries sustained in a one vehicle accident near Pryor.
"IICHIILIKAASHXIA," Well Known Elk, was born Jan. 13, 1965, in Hardin, a son of Linda Anderson and the late Elliott Mountain Sheep Sr. He received his education in Hardin, Ashland and the Flandreau Indian School. He later attended mechanic school, barber school and, most recently, the May School of Broadcasting.
Ron married
Carey Rice and they had one daughter, Omreona Ashley Anderson; the couple was later divorced. He married
Elna Black Hawk, Nov. 18, 1993, and they had one daughter, Ronette Linda Anderson, while making their home in Hardin.
He was preceded in death by his adopted mother, Elizabeth Ann Anderson; his grandfather, Adam Arthur Anderson and stepfather, Dallas Dust.
Survivors include his wife, Elna of Hardin; two daughters, Omreona Anderson and Ronette Anderson of Hardin; two stepdaughters, Coty Cloud and Renata Black Hawk of Hardin; two stepsons, Matthew and Benny Cloud of Hardin; his mother, Linda Dust of Black Lodge; six brothers: Ralph Brown Jr., William Dust and Larry Alden of Black Lodge, Orrin Anderson, Dallas Dust Jr., and Frank Hill of South Dakota; eight sisters: Marlene (Byron) Other Bull and Rebecca Anderson of Hardin, Carmelia Brown of Black Lodge, Rhonda Anderson of Mexico, Martha (Leroy) Carr, and Mandi Dust of Ariz., Della Dust of Billings and Sedona Ridge Bear of Lame Deer; three half-sisters: Deanna, Deidra and Opal Mountain Sheep of Crow Agency; three adopted brothers: Lorenzo Mountain Sheep III of Dunmore, Raymond and Edmund Holmes of Black Lodge; his aunts: Lana Burlison, Rose Alden, Margaret Anderson, Ruth Alden, Donna Pretty On Top, Lois Jefferson, Violet Wolfblack, Kathy Gardner, LaBerta Rhondeau and Maudine Stewart; four uncles: Maurice Mountain Sheep, Marvine Takes The Horse Sr., Willie and Iran Joe Stewart; also many aunts and uncles from the Takes Horse and Leider families.

GILLETTE, Wyo. - Wayne L. Chaney, 19, died Saturday, Jan. 15, 2000, at his aunt's home in Longmont, Colo., as a result of cancer.

Clifford Aaby
Clifford Aaby, 83, of Billings, passed away Sunday Jan. 16, 2000 at Western Manor in Billings.
He was born July 12, 1916, at Molt, Mont. the son of Anton and Dora Aaby. He attended school in Lakeview School and Molt.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Virgina Garner.
Oct. 15, 1948 he married
Marie Hahn, in Spokane, Wash. Clifford served in WWII in the U.S. Army from 1940 to 1945.
He is survived by his wife Marie of Billings; a daughter Sandra and son Clifford James both of Billings; sister Helga Phillips of Green Acres, Wash., and Mildred Roback of Laurel, Doris Tucker of Portland, Ore. and a brother Elwin Aaby of Billings and Dale Aaby of Deer Lodge, and also survived by several nieces and nephews.

GILLETTE, Wyo. - Wayne L. Chaney, 19, died Saturday, Jan. 15, 2000, at his aunt's home in Longmont, Colo., as a result of cancer.

August 'Gus' Kramer
Our beloved husband, father, brother and grandfather Gus Kramer, 77, of 4812 Grand Avenue, passed away Jan. 16, 2000, at the Anaconda Community Hospital of a lengthy illness.
He was born April 27, l922, in Wyola, Montana to Jacob and Katherine (Schiedt) Kramer.
On July 26, 1941, he married
Alma Hofferber and of the union came five children. They farmed west of Billings for 58 years. He enjoyed his family and farming.
Dad, we'll miss you but your presence will always be with us.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Raymond and George.
Survivors include his wife Alma, one sister Marie Hein, five children, Larry (Pat), Carolyn (Ron) Gerondale of Red Lodge, Gerald (Diane), Ken and Jack of Billings; ten grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 20, at Faith Chapel, corner of Broadwater Ave. and Shiloh. Interment will be at Mountview cemetery following the service. Memorials may be made to the charity of ones choice.
Harold G. Hanson
Harold G. Hanson of Billings, Mont., was born on Feb. 22, 1914, and passed away on Jan. 15, 2000, at the age of 85 after a brief illness. He went to elementary school near Boise, Idaho and graduated from Boise High School. He worked most of his life in the saw mill and lumber business around Boise. He moved to Billings, Mont., after he retired.
He is survived by his sister, Vivian Boles Green of Boise, Idaho, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Earl, Carl, Victor, Al; a sister, Agnes; and his mother and father, Gunhild and Olaf Hanson. Since his mother and father immigrated to the United States from Sweden, Harold enjoyed Swedish food and loved to participate in the Swedish customs during Christmas. Harold will be remembered for his thoughtfulness, love of children, his generosity, and his constant smile.
The family would like to give thanks to all of the staff at Western Manor and Deaconess Hospital for the thoughtful care which he received. Cremation has taken place with interment at the Mountview cemetery in Billings, Mont. Memorials may be sent to Clydehurst Christian Ranch, 802 North 27th St., Billings, Mont.

SIDNEY - George A. Anderson, 66, died on Monday, Jan. 17, 2000, at the Sidney Health Center.

Joyce E. Husen
MOORHEAD, Minn. - Joyce E. Husen, 66, formerly of Billings, died Sunday, Jan. 16, 2000, at MeritCare Hospital in Fargo, N.D.

Raymond Husen. From 1987 to 1994 they lived in Billings, Mont.
Joyce is survived by her husband, Raymond of Moorhead; three daughters, Andrea (Kevin) Card, Moorhead; Tamara Gordon of Minneapolis, Minn.; and Kathy (Jeff) Botnen of Fargo; two sons, Kevin (Tammy) Husen of Victorville, Calif.; and Eric (Amy) Husen of Crystal Lake, Ill.; a brother, James (Betty) Putnam Sr., of Tintah, Minn.; and 11 grandchildren.
Visitation will be at 5-8 p.m. Monday with a prayer service in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 18, at the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, Moorhead. Interment will follow in the Prairie Home cemetery. Korsmo Funeral Service of Moorhead is in charge of arrangements.
Megan Christine Huston
DAYTON, Wyo. - Megan Christine Huston, of Dayton, Wyo., passed away on Friday, Jan. 14, 2000, at the age of 12.
Megan was born on June 29, 1987, in Sheridan. Her parents are Julie and Kenneth Way of Dayton and Michael Huston of Great Falls, Mont. She was a seventh grade student at Tongue River Middle School and was active in soccer, basketball, softball, volleyball, choir, and Gen-Why computer Tech Class. She was an honor roll student and enjoyed shopping, collecting nail polish, being with her friends, listening to music, helping in school projects, playing on the computer and collecting stuffed animals. She was a past girl gsout and a member of the First United Methodist Church UMYF Group.
Survivors include her parents; her brother, Matthew Huston; her grandparents, Micki Miller of Sheridan, Norman Miller of Mt. Vernon, Ill., Audrey Huston of Billings, Mont., and John and Rose Way of Billings; and her great-grandparents, Lyman and Marion Miller of Fitchburg, Ma.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 18, at the First United Methodist Church in Sheridan with Pastor Joseph Keys officiating. Interment will follow in the Dayton cemetery. Kane Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Tongue River Middle School will hold a memorial service at the school at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 19.
