Kelly Marie Alsberg
NESHKORO, Wis. - Kelly Marie Alsberg, age 42, of Neshkoro, passed away suddenly on Monday, Sept. 27, 1999, at Theda Clark Regional Medical Center in Neenah from a ruptured aneurysm.
She was born on May 16, 1957, in Plentywood, Mont., the daughter of Delbert and Faye (Lee) Marsh. She married Charles Alsberg on Dec. 27, 1974, in Plentywood. Kelly liked to help with fundraisers for the local youth organizations. She also enjoyed camping, riding ATV's, rubber stamping and crossword puzzles. She was an avid Packer fan.
She is survived by her husband, Charles of Neshkoro; three sons, Byron of Neshkoro, Rory of West Bend, Jesse of Appleton; two brothers, Robert Marsh of Frederick, Md., Les Marsh of Great Falls, Mont.; two sisters, Annette Marsh of Billings, Mont., Tracie Barry of Las Vegas, Nev.; her parents, Delbert (Faye) Marsh of Plentywood; mother-in-law, Jacqueline Hughes of Fort Peck, Mont.; father-in-law, Genaldo Alsberg of Fort Peck; two brothers-in-law, Bryan (Corry) Alsberg of Atlanta, Jeffrey (Simone) Alsberg of Glasgow, Mont.; sister-in-law, Julie (Harley) Kleppen of Plentywood; 17 nieces and nephews and many friends.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, Oct. 1, at 6 p.m. from St. John The Baptist Catholic Church in Princeton with Father Dale Grubba officiating. Friends and relatives may call at the church from 3 p.m. until the time of the service. A memorial has been established.

Henry A. Buller
SPOKANE, Wash. - Henry Anthony Buller, 79, a Billings native and retired Air Force chief master sergeant, died Sunday in Spokane of complications from a stroke.
Visitation will be 4 to 6 p.m. Friday at Hennessey-Smith Funeral Home in Spokane with Rosary at 6 p.m. Funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Assumption Catholic Church with the Rev. Joe Bell officiating. Graveside services will follow at Greenwood cemetery. Memorials are suggested to: WWII Memorial, Court House Plaza II, Suite 501, 2300 Clarendon Blvd., Arlington, VA 22201.
Buller was born July 4, 1920, in Billings to Joseph and Meta Buller. He graduated in 1938 from Billings Senior High School.
In 1939, he enlisted in the U.S. Army Air Corps and in December 1941 was stationed at Clark Field, Philippines. He was one of the last Americans to be evacuated from the field when the Japanese invaded. He went on to fly more than 35 B-17 missions as a machine gunner and a bombadier in the Pacific Theater and was awarded two Silver Stars plus numerous other medals. In 1943, he was declared a "great Montanan" by then-Rep. Mike Mansfield in the Congressional Record.
While stationed in Germany, he participated in the Berlin Airlift from 1948-1949. In 1953, he served with the U.S. Air Attache Office in Prague, Czechoslovakia. In 1963, while stationed at Bolling Air Force Base in Washington, D.C., Buller served as an usher at the funeral of President John F. Kennedy.
In 1959 in Zurich, Switzerland, he married Kerstin Carlson of Helsingborg, Sweden.
He retired in 1969 after 30 years in the Air Force and moved his family to Spokane. He worked at Sacred Heart Medical Center as a supervisor in Central Supply for 14 years.
Survivors include his wife, at home; daughter, Christine (Buller) Erickson of Sagle, Idaho; son, Michael Buller of Seattle, and daughter, Patricia (Buller) Erickson of Spokane; sisters, Dorothy Buller and Magdalene (Buller) Winslow, both of Billings; brothers, John Buller of Santa Rosa, Calif., and Russell Buller of Clarkston, Mich.; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by brothers, Joseph Buller of Billings in 1967, and Gerald Buller of Sitka, Alaska, in April 1999.

Taylor Jacob Plumage-Cochran
FORT BELKNAP - Taylor Jacob Plumage-Cochran, infant son of Donald Cochran and Helena F. Plumage, died Sept. 26 at Benefis East in Great Falls. Interment was Wednesday, Sept. 29, at the Plumage Family cemetery at Fort Belknap. He was given an Indian name that means Blue Thunderbird Boy. Adams Funeral Home of Malta was in charge of arrangements.
Besides his parents he is survived by a sister, Stacey Plumage; brothers, Dana, Michael and Alex Cochran, all of Fort Belknap; maternal grandparents, Waldo Plumage, Carol LaVellie of Fort Belknap; paternal grandparents, Carol Clowa of East Butte, S.D., Robert Lee Cochran Jr. of Fort Belknap; great-great-grandparents, Helen Talks Different and Robert "Bobby" Cochran of Fort Belknap.

Benjamin Devin Courtney

LAUREL - Benjamin Devin Courtney, infant son of Benjamin and Karen Courtney of Laurel, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 29, 1999, at St. Vincent Hospital. He was born March 21, 1999, in Billings.
In Benjamin's short life, he became an inspiration and teacher to so many. During even his lowest points, he somehow managed a smile, teaching us all that no matter how bad our day is, or we think it is, you can still smile and rejoice in life. He was loved by many and his spirit will always be with us.
His family would like to thank Dr. Kathleen Stevens and all of her elite staff of nurses. Also, all of our friends and family, who have helped us these past six months. But most of all, to thank God, for blessing us with our son and allowing us the privilege of knowing such a special little boy. Ben was preceded in death by his twin brother, William, on March 22, 1999.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 1, at Michelotti, Sawyers & Nordquist, 1001 Alderson Ave.

Allen Ray Dorris
Allen Ray Dorris, 56, of Billings, died early Tuesday morning, Sept. 28, 1999, following a sudden heart attack.
Allen was born on March 19, 1943, in Riverton, Wyo., the son of Gordon L. and Alta (Moore) Dorris. He traveled throughout the West with his family, later returning to Riverton where he met, and on April 2, 1962, married , April L. Payer.
Mr. Dorris was a bricklayer for years, later working as a bartender and for the last three years as a security guard for Argus Security. He loved snowmobiling, carpentry and various forms of artwork including drawing.
Survivors include his wife, April of Billings; two sons, Kevin Dorris of Playa del Rey, Calif., and Kenny Dorris of Billings; three grandchildren, Caitlin, Keith and Christine Dorris of Billings; two brothers, Artie of Missoula and Ken of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho; and his father and stepmother, Gordon and Blanche Dorris of Sacramento, Calif. Allen was preceded in death by his mother, Alta.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 1, at the Smith West Chapel, 304 34th St. W. Cremation is planned. Memorials are suggested to the Billings Animal Shelter, 302 Edward St., Billings, MT 59101. Smith West Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Elda Stops Gonzales
HARDIN - Elda Stops Gonzales, 48, of Hardin, died Tuesday, Sept. 28, 1999, in Crow Agency.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 2, at the Bullis Funeral Chapel with interment in the Crow Agency cemetery.

Keith Gottlob
THREE FORKS - Keith Gottlob, 75, formerly of Big Timber, died Sunday, Sept. 26, 1999.
Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 2, at the Methodist Church in Three Forks. Interment for immediate family only will be Sunday, Oct. 3, in Big Timber. K & L Mortuary is in charge.

Michael Ray Gulbrandson
PINEDALE, Wyo. - Funeral services for Michael R. Gulbrandson, 45, were held at St. Andrews in the Pines Episcopal Church in Pinedale with the Revs. Mary Caucutt and Chuck Blackwell officiating.
Military graveside services were conducted at the Pinedale cemetery by VFW Post No. 4801.
He died Sept. 18, 1999, in Tulsa, Okla., at the Cancer Treatment Center.
Mike was born Nov. 17, 1953, in Jackson Hole, the first son of Rodrick and Doris Gulbrandson. He graduated from high school in Red Lodge, Mont., and enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. On Nov. 30, 1974, he married the love of his life, Susan Christensen, in Powell.
He was a member of the Episcopal Church, and a longtime member of the NRA. He loved to rodeo, hunt and fish. Each fall he looked forward to hunting camp with his sons.
Survivors include his wife, Susan of Pinedale; three sons, Terrill (T.J.) of Evanston, Tyson and his wife, Tese of Billings, Mont., and Ross of Pinedale; mother and stepfather, Doris and Ted Day of Red Lodge; grandmother, Elma (Shorty) Cantlin of Pinedale; three brothers and a sister, Dave Gulbrandson of Billings, Mark (Gulbrandson) Day of Red Lodge, Jim (Gulbrandson) Day of Kaysville, Utah, and Marilyn (Gulbrandson) Fugere of Billings; two stepbrothers, Chris Gulbrandson of Rawlins and Scott Gulbrandson of Loveland, Colo.; and a stepsister, Robin Day of Nederland, Colo.; also his Godparents, Bill and Claudie Meyer of Pinedale and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father and grandfather.

Floyd B. Hunnicutt
Floyd B. Hunnicutt, 87, of Billings, passed away Wednesday morning, Sept. 29, 1999, at the Western Manor Nursing Home.
Floyd was born May 5, 1912, in Steele City, Neb., the son of Charles and Minnie (Smith) Hunnicutt. He was raised in Washington and Wyoming.
He married Esther Grage, October of 1946 in Julesburg, Colo. He worked on farms in Wyoming and for the Wyoming Highway Department until moving to Washington in the early 1960s. He moved to Laurel in 1965 and worked on the Adam Schreiner Farm at Park City. He was the ditch rider for the Colve Ditch, where he retired. He later worked for the Cenex Soil Builders. He also lived and helped at the Harold Reiter family farm near Laurel. He moved to South 40 in Billings until his health required him to move to Western Manor Nursing Home.
Survivors include two sisters, Grace Studerant of Sacramento, Calif., and Mrs. Violet (Albert) Boyle of Powell, Wyo., and several nieces and nephews..
He was preceded in death by his wife, Esther in 1990, and his brother, Chester.
At Floyd's request, no services are planned. Cremation has taken place and his ashes will be buried with his wife at Terrace Gardens cemetery.

Raymond H. Kolstad
Raymond H. Kolstad, 63, of Billings, died Wednesday, Sept. 29, 1999, at the Deaconess Hospital.
The son of Harland R. and Amalia Kolstad, Ray was born in Billings, Dec. 16, 1935. He married Alice Scheetz in Sidney in December 1954.
Ray worked as a senior electrical engineering technician for Associated Engineers and ECI, retiring in 1996.
Ray was an Eagle Scout and a member of New Life Assembly. He enjoyed woodworking and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He especially enjoyed spending time at the cabin in Red Lodge he and his sons had built.
Survivors include his wife, Alice, and three sons, Craig, Curtis and Don, all of Billings. He is also survived by his brother, Keith of Billings; and two sisters, Virginia Gerrells of Billings and Marlene Tetrault of Red Lodge.
Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Saturday at New Life Assembly, 3950 Temple Place. The casket will be closed at church.
Memorials may be made to Special K Ranch or New Life Assembly.
Michelotti, Sawyers & Nordquist has charge of arrangements.

Evelyn Knopp
SIDNEY - Evelyn Knopp, 77, died Tuesday, Sept. 28, 1999, at her home.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 2, at the Lonsdale United Methodist Church with interment in the Sidney cemetery. Fulkerson Funeral Home is in charge.

Robert W. Leikam
Robert W. Leikam, 63, of Billings, died Tuesday, Sept. 28, 1999, at St. Vincent Hospital of congestive heart failure. He was born April 3, 1936, in Sidney, a son of William and Lydia Schell Leikam. He moved to Billings at an early age with his parents where he received his schooling. Bob served in the U.S. Marines from 1952 to 1954 and returned to Billings where he married Lillian Kober on Aug. 6, 1955.
Bob enjoyed wood working, gardening, fishing and hunting and loved to be around his grandchildren. Survivors include his wife, Lillian; two daughters, Tari Leikam of San Jose, Calif., and Lori Leikam of Billings; one son, Dale Leikam of Billings; three grandchildren, Nathan, Evan and Brandon of Billings; and four brothers, Leroy (Toni) of Helena, Garry (Dorothy) and Donald (Patt), all of Billings, and Mike (Marilyn) of Worden. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Friday at Christ the King Lutheran Church. Interment will follow at Mountview cemetery. Memorials may be made to Christ the King Lutheran Church, 759 Newman Road, Billings, MT 59101.
Arrangements were by Cremation or Funeral Gallery.

Lydia M. Lewis
Lydia M. Lewis, 94, of Billings, went to be with the Lord Thursday, Sept. 23. in Missoula.
She was born on May 22, 1904, in Meyersdale, Pa.
Lydia married Jack E. Lewis and resided in Billings for many years.
Her hobbies included cooking, knitting and volunteer work to help others.
She was a member of the Billings Eastern Star and the First Lutheran Church.
Survivors include her grandson, Bob T. Kinton and mother-in-law, Margie Kinton, both of Missoula; granddaughter, Linda P. Schock of Harlowton; and two great-grandchildren, Troy and Todd Schock of Harlowton.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of the Malletta Family of Funeral Homes Livingston Chapel. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation, 919 N. Michigan Ave., Suite 1000, Chicago, IL 60611.
