Mr. Ivon A. Arguelles, Sr., 80, of Biloxi, MS, died Sunday, June 26, 2005, in Biloxi.
Mr. Arguelles was a native and lifelong resident of Biloxi. He was a U. S. Navy Veteran of WW II and the Korean Conflict and a member of V.F.W. Post #2434 Mr. Arguelles was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus Council #1244 of Biloxi. He was employed in civil service in the P.E.M.. Lab for over 30 years at Keesler Air Force Base. He was also the owner/operator of a citizen band radio service.
Mr. Arguelles was preceded in death by his wife, Lou Ella McMath Arguelles; daughter, Kathryn Arguelles; son, David Wayne Arguelles; his parents, George and Winnie O'Brien Arguelles; sister Patricia Ann Ford; brothers, Joe and Jack Arguelles and a grandson, Daniel Arguelles.
Survivors include his daughter, Teresa Arguelles, of Biloxi; sons, Rev. Ivon A."Tony" Arguelles, Jr. of Biloxi; Michael Arguelles of D'Iberville and Paul Arguelles of Ocean Springs; a brother, Morris C. Arguelles of Biloxi; grandchildren, Jorrie Arguelles, Shawn Ault Semonelle, Danah . Arguelles, Christopher Arguelles, Autumn Arguelles, Holli Arguelles, Madison Nobles, Joshua Arguelles, Azlyn Arguelles and Aaron Arguelles; great granddaughter, Gabrielle Semonelle and a special friend, Patsy Premeaux of Biloxi.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Louis Catholic Church in Biloxi where friends may visit one hour before service time. Interment will follow in Biloxi City cemetery.
Boyce "BeBe" Andrews

Boyce "BeBe" Andrews, 79, of Gulfport died Monday, June 6, 2005 in Gulfport. Mr. Andrews was born
in Grenada and had been a resident of the Gulf Coast for 38 years.
He previously served in the U.S. Air Force, was a Mason and Shriner and a member of Union of Operating Engineers. He was Methodist.
He is survived by his wife, Doris Andrews of Gulfport; two sons, Kenneth Andrews and Ricky Andrews, both of Gulfport; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be Wednesday, June 8, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport where friends may visit from 10 a.m. until the service. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Gulfport.
David "Dave" Thomas Ausborn

David "Dave" Thomas Ausborn died at his home in Biloxi on May 23, 2005, surrounded by his wife and children.
He is probably best remembered as the owner-operator of the Biloxi Post Office Snack Bar of over 32 years. There, many people shared a cup of Dave's delicious coffee as well as the latest news around town. Dave later maintained the lounge and vending areas at the U.S. Naval Retirement Home and most recently has a food service contract at the CB Base in Gulfport. His work was through the Mississippi Rehabilitation for the Blind.
Dave was born
on December 11, 1928 in Parham Community in Monroe County, Mississippi. He served in the Korean War with the United States Army. He honorably served his country as artillery leader.
He was a master mason of the Magnolia Lodge #0120 and a lifetime member of VFW post 2434, lifetime member of the Disabled Veterans chapter #MS17.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 31 years, Lynda Sue Ausborn, one daughter, Jennifer Moore and husband Brandon of Biloxi, MS; three sons, Michael Ausborn and Beth of Jackson, MS, Steven Ausborn of Amory, MS, and Jeffery Ausborn of Roanoke, VA; 10 grandchildren, one great grandson, and numerous nephews and nieces. He is preceded in death by his father, Ellie R. Ausborn, mother, Amy Parham Ausborn, and brother, William B. Ausborn.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2005 from 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm at Bradford-O'keefe Funeral Home, 2511 Pass Road, Biloxi. The memorial service will be held at 7:30 pm in the chapel.
In lieu of flowers, family requests contributions may be made to Quality Hospice at 999 Howard Ave., Ste. 1, Biloxi, MS 39531. A special thank you to his caregivers Roberta, Ann, and Elizabeth.

John Bernard "Jack" Anseman, age 50, of North Biloxi, MS., died Monday, May 24, 2010 in Birmingham, AL.
John was a native of New Orleans, LA and lived on the Gulf Coast since 1971. He was cage supervisor for Hard Rock Casino and worked in the Casino Industry since 1994. He was past governor and member of North Biloxi Moose Lodge #332.
He is preceded in death by his father, Alphonse Albert Anseman, Jr.
Survivors include his mother, Joan Blessey Anseman; three sisters, Norma Anseman Gomez, Patricia Anseman Winkler, Jill Anseman Stanley; brother, Alphonse Anseman, III; six nieces and nephews, Brian Keith Anseman, Chrissa Anseman Staton, Mark Evans Karcher, Jr., Augusta (Aggie) Gomez Fisher, Sean Michael Anseman, Jennifer Marie Stanley; four great- nieces and nephews, Jakob Trent Anseman, Mia Kate Anseman, Ella Jamison Karcher and Claire Elizabeth Staton.
There will be a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, May 28, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church where friends may visit one hour prior to service. Interment will be in D'Iberville Memorial Park.

Mr. Joseph Philip Anastasio, 91, of Gulfport, MS died Saturday, May 14, 2005, in Gulfport.
Mr. Anastasio was born
in White Castle, LA and had been a resident of Gulfport over 40 years. He was an active member of St. James Catholic church and a member of the St. Vioncent de Paul Society. Mr. Anastasio retired as a chief warrant officer from the U. S. Air Force in 1967 after over 25 years of service. He was also retired from civil service at the Gulfport Veterans Administration Center and retired from the staff of St. James Catholic Church. In 1984, he was awarded The Bishop's Service Cross by Bisop Howze.
Mr Anastasio was preceded in death by his wife, Rose R. Anastasio, his twin brother, Vincent, other brothers, Tina, Tony and Sam and a sister, Mary Falgout.
Survivors include two daughters, Christine Anastasio of Gulfport and Paula Rockett of Gulf Breeze, FL; two sons, Randall J. Anastasio of Birmingham, AL and Michael J. Anastasio of Gulfport; two sisters, Rose Anastasio and Anna Oncale both of Metairie, LA; a brother, Charles Anastasio of Houston, TX; twelve grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday evening, May 16, 2005, from 5 until 8 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport. Rosary will be recited during the visitation. The funeral mass will be Tuesday at St. James Catholic Church. Interment will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
Mitchell Anthony Abide

Mitchell Anthony Abide passed away in Covington, La. on February 10, 2010, one month before his 89th birthday.
Mr. Abide was born
in Greenville on March 10, 1921 to Melham and Bonda Abide. He was the sixth of nine children. He graduated from Greenville High School and LSU where he received a degree in mechanical engineering. During World War II, he served as an Army Air Corps navigator in the Pacific Theater. With his brothers, Mr. Abide founded Abide Lumber Company. He also worked as an engineer at U.S. Gypsum until retirement. He enjoyed golfing every day, particularly with his Wednesday afternoon group.
Mr. Abide was preceded in death by his loving wife of 51 years, Patricia, who died ten days earlier.
Mr. Abide is survived by two sons, Peter (Judy) Abide of Biloxi, and Mitch (Jane) Abide of Covington, La.; two daughters, Leah (Sandy) Whann of New Orleans, and Mary (Brian) Negus of Chattanooga, Tenn.; and eleven grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, P.O. Box 1220, Greenville, MS 38702.
A memorial service and Catholic Mass will be held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Greenville on Saturday, February 20 at 11:00 a.m. with a reception to follow.
Visitation will be held at the church at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be at St. Mary’s cemetery in Lake Village under the direction of Bishop Funeral Home.
Rita Louise Andrews

Rita Louise Andrews, 87, of Gautier, MS, died on Monday, November 23, 2009. Mrs. Andrews was a native of Biloxi and resident of Gautier for the past 63 years. An active partner with her husband, they established, owned and operated Mary Walker Marina in Gautier for over 50 years. She was a loving wife, mother, homemaker, business woman and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Gautier. She was a nurturing aunt to her many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.
Among her many enjoyments were collecting fine procelain sea shells, day trips to Mobile and New Orleans, dining out and frequenting casinos. She was well known for her cooking, especially her gumbo.
Mrs. Andrews is preceded in death by her parents, Frank M. and Hilda Mae Ward Wentzell; brother, Frank C. Wentzell.
Survivors include her husband of 67 years, Wallace H. Andrews, Sr. of Gautier; son, Wallace H. Andrews, Jr. of Alexandria, VA; two sisters, Helen Dubaz and Margaret Scott both of Biloxi; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and her longtime, loyal employee affectionately known as, "Little Boy".
A Mass of Christian burial will be on Saturday, November 28, 2009 at 11:00 am at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Gautier. Friends may visit from 10:00 am until Mass time.
