Ashley Marie Miller, age 18, of Moss Point, MS., died Thursday, August 16, 2007, in Moss Point.
A lifelong resident of the Gulf Coast, she was a country girl who loved spending time with friends and family on the Wolf River. She was deeply loved and will be missed by all who knew her - especially her Paw Paw Jack.
Survivors include her mother, Delores Heiden of Ocean Springs, her father, Joe Heiden of Lamoille, IL., a sister, Anna Heiden of Lamoille, IL., a brother, Aron Miller of Okinawa, Japan, and her grandparents, Janice and Brian Howard of Jacksonville, AR.
On Wednesday, August 22, 2007, there will be a 2 PM funeral service at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home.

Ann Taft Bosse', mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, born
February 18, 1920, in California, Pennsylvania, died peacefully August 19, 2007 at G.C. Medical Center after complications related to hip surgery. She was 87.
A 55 year resident of Biloxi, Ann medically retired from the Civil Service at Keesler Air Force Base Hospital in 1976 where she had worked as a Pathology Department medical secretary for 16 years. After retirement, Ann became a successful local author by publishing Biloxi Bacon, a cookbook compilation of Gulf Coast and Cajun cuisine sold at tourist establishments around the coast including Beauvoir - home of Jefferson Davis.
Ann was preceded in death by her only son, Albert J. (Jerry) Taft, Jr., in 1973, and her husband Russ Bosse' in 1987.
She is survived by two daughters, Rebecca A. Wilcox of Raleigh, North Carolina, and Kathryn T. Salmon of Seattle, Washington. Additional survivors include grandson, Justin M. Salmon of Nashville, Tennessee, granddaughter, Erin S. Chegwidden of Seattle and great granddaughter, Laura Elaine Salmon of Nashville.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Ann's name to the Paralyzed Veterans of America - one of her favorite charities.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 26, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Biloxi. Ann will be laid to rest next to her husband, and near her son, in Biloxi cemetery.

Mrs. Connie Trahan Butterfield, age 73, of Navarre, FL., formerly of West Warwick, RI., passed away unexpectedly in Florida on August 17, 2007.
born in Mississippi, Mrs. Butterfield attended Biloxi High School. She met her future husband while he was stationed at Keesler Air Force Base. They married
and moved north to Rhode Island where they raised their son and daughter. They were married
for almost 50 years.
She was the loving wife of the late Richard W. Butterfield, daughter of Oduse and the late Laura Trahan, beloved mother of Linda Corcoran of Brockton, MA., and Glenn Butterfield of West Warwick, RI.
Mrs. Butterfield was a loving grandmother to Nicolas, Caitlin, and Brianna Corcoran of Brockton, MA., Lisa Marie Iannitelli and Sarah Nicole Butterfield of West Warwick, RI., and loving sister to the late Janet Kruse of Ocean Springs, MS., brother, Eugene Trahan and his wife, Jayne, of Navarre, FL., and brother Richard Trahan and his wife Sandi of Biloxi, MS.
Visitation will be on Saturday, August 25, 2007, from 12 Noon until 2:00 PM, followed by a 2:00 PM chapel service at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home, 911 Porter Avenue in Ocean Springs.

Tom Edwards, age 61, of Ocean Springs, died Friday, August 17, 2007, in Ocean Springs.
He was a member of the Ocean Springs community for 28 years, and served our country in the United States Air Force for 20 years.
Mr. Edwards loved to be with family and friends who will remember him as a generous kind and fun-loving husband, Father, Grandfather, brother and friend. He had a passion for golf.
Survivors include his wife, Jane Edwards, two daughters, Melissa (Doug) Rackley of Biloxi, MS., and Rhonda (Scott) Arneson of Cumming, GA.; a sister, Patricia (Nile) Inghrim, and a brother, Robert Edwards, all of Monticello, NY.; his four grandchildren, Lauren, Jordan, Kaley, and Brayden; and his two nieces, Tammi and Terri.
On Thursday, August 23, 2007, there will be a 6:30 PM Memorial Service at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, where friends may visit one hour prior.
In lieu of flowers the family prefers donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 417 Security Square, Gulfport, MS 39507.
Paul Allen Dennis

Retired M/Sgt. Paul Allen Dennis, 72, was born
in Spencer, NC on November 23, 1934. He moved to Portsmouth, VA at the age of five where he attended local public schools. He graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in 1954. Paul served in the U. S. Army from 1957-1959. He joined the U. S. Air Force in 1961. During his 23 years of military service, he earned numerous ribbons, awards and medals including National Defense Service Medal and three Vietnam Service Medals. He retired in 1982 while stationed at Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, MS. He was a lifetime member of the NCO association. He pursued a career in real estate sales at Century 21 K Realty until 1998. Paul graduated from Jefferson Davis Community College with an Associate of Arts Degree in 2003.
Mr. Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Henry and Irma Scott Dennis in Portsmouth, VA; brothers, Richard and Arthur of Portsmouth, VA and Bobby of Fayetteville, NC.
Mr. Dennis is survived by his wife of 45 years, Diana Bush Dennis of Gulfport, MS; his daughter, Rebecca Suzanne Dennis-Nelson and her husband Chris David Nelson of Gulfport, MS; a sister-in-law Ursula Dennis of Fayetteville, NC; a brother, Henry "Bernie" Dennis and his wife Shirley of Chesapeake, VA; a sister, Sandra Dennis Regal and her husband Bill of Cape Coral, FL; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Paul made his transition on August 18th at home under the care of Quality Hospice and with his loving, supportive family present.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00pm August 23, 2007 at the Pass Road Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes where friends may visit one hour prior to service time.
Thelma Louise Scott

Thelma L. Scott passed away Tuesday, October 23, 2007 at the age of 91. She will be deeply missed by those who were touched by her warmth, humor, wisdom and grace which never failed.
Thelma was born
in Tazwell, West Virginia to Sarah Parsons Scott and George R. Scott on February 4, 1916. She was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, a member of The Response Circle and King's Daughters.
She is survived by her great niece, Robbin McNeil Spafford and her two precious great-great nieces, Molly and Abby McMurtry, all of Houston, Texas.
The family would like to thank the staff at Sunplex Sub-acute who provided compassionate care for Thelma.
Memorial services will be celebrated on Monday, October 29, 2007 in Crestlawn cemetery at 9:00 a.m. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Michael James Bever, Surveillance QA Supervisor of Supship Gulf Coast in Pascagoula, went to be with the Lord on October 25, 2007 in Pascagoula at the age of 50.
The fourth and youngest child of Tom and Mary Bever, he was born
April 23, 1957 in Cumberland, MD. At 18, he joined the United States Air Force; Mike was stationed at Keesler AFB and loved the Gulf Coast area so much that after retiring here he made Ocean Springs his permanent home.
Mike, an avid golfer, was an officer of the Gulf Hills Men's Club and enjoyed participating in tournaments year-long. His passion for the sport and Gulf Hills Golf Course led him to have a pavilion built at the course in his honor. His family and friends will best remember his optimism, generosity and enthusiasm through his repeated expression, "I'm lovin' life and livin' the dream."
Proceeded in death by his parents, Michael is survived by brothers, Richard Bever and his wife Cheri of Berkeley Springs, WV, Alvin Bever and his wife Joannie of Lakeworth, FL; sister, Krista Ann Ecker and her husband Bruce of Middletown, MD; one niece Ashley Bever, one nephew, Andy Ecker, two god-daughters, Kylie Renee Keels of Ocean Springs, Kristine Marie Eldridge of Moss Point and his trusted loyal friend Montana.
Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 31, 2007 at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes, where friends may visit two hours prior. He will be laid to rest in the Bever Family cemetery in Swanton, MD.

Hia Gech Ngo, age 69, died on Wednesday, October 24, 2007 in Pascagoula, MS.
Mrs. Ngo was born
in Chauduc, Vietnam and was a resident of Ocean Springs for the last 7 years.
She is survived by her husband, Lim T. Thai of Ocean Springs; two daughters, Hoa A. Thai of Mobile, AL and Brenda A. Thai of Gulfport, MS; two sons, Meng Thai of Ocean Springs, MS and Seng Thai of Biloxi, MS; a sister, Gna Im of Grand Bay, AL; two brothers, Cbhoun Im and Thong Cbhoun Im both of Cambodia and nine grandchildren.
Visitation was held from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Friday, October 26, 2007 at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes.
Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 27, 2007 in the chapel of the funeral home. A visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. A procession will follow at 1:00 p.m. to Crestlawn Memorial Park.
Robert J. Negrotto

Mr. Robert "Bob" Negrotto, a resident of Gulfport, was born
December 13, 1932, in Biloxi, and lived there most of his life, and still does in his mind. He died Friday, October 26, 2007 at the age of 74.
Mr. Negrotto was a graduate of Biloxi High School and the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy and U. S. Marine Corps. Bob was very active in the Gulf Coast communities, belonging to many organizations. He was a very active member of the Gulf Coast Carnival Association; always involved with the parades and the decoration of the floats. He served as Captain of the Gulf Coast Carnival Association in 1993 - 1994 and was a Duke and King of Les Pierrots. He was also King of Young Matrons. He had a special love for Mardi Gras in Biloxi.
Bob worked at many positions; he was co-owner of "The Cross Court Lounge & Restaurant" and "Biloxi Skateboard Park" (located on Highway 90). He worked for General Electric during the building of Stennis Space Center and was the owner of "Negrotto's Seafood & Deli". He was Budget and Finance Officer for the Naval Command at Ingall's and Program Manager on the overhaul of the USS Wisconsin. He managed the Biloxi office of Wink Engineering and was co-owner of "Negrotto's Gallery" before it was sold. Bob was involved with antique wooden boats and was restoring one for the Biloxi Seafood Museum when Katrina destroyed it. He loved woodworking.
Bob and Sue loved to travel. They cruised the Mediterranean, toured Spain, Canada and most of the United States. He was devoted to his wonderful loving wife, Sue (Ainsworth), of 44 years. He is also survived by his daughters, Donna Negrotto of Las Vegas, NV, Michele McDonald and her husband, Brian, of Jackson, MS, and Bobby Jo Dobson and her husband, Joe, of Gulfport; and his beautiful and wonderful grandchildren, Ashley and Joseph Dobson and Matt and Laura Beth McDonald. He was also very involved with and close to his loving first cousins on the Romero side and his many, many good friends.
His parents, Beatrice Romero Negrotto and Fred Negrotto preceded him in death.
Honorary pallbearers are Jackie Covacevich, William Byrd, Al Jacquet, Lloyd Moon, Joe Wink and Ralph Ryan. Serving as pallbearers will be Weldon Starks, Phil Dellenger, Ronnie Sims, Eddie Slade, Donnie Barras and Jim Bradford.
Visitation is Sunday, October 28, 2007, from 6 until 8 p.m. at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi. Funeral services will be held Monday in the funeral home chapel at 11:30 a.m.. Interment will follow in Biloxi National cemetery with full military honors.
