Jan. 30, 1924, in McHenry, Miss. Mrs. Lacy was a member of East Moss Point Baptist Church and retired from Sears after 25 years service in sales. She was preceded in death by parents, Grady and Lena Ladner.

TOWRY
Mrs. Flora S. Towry, 85, of Cumbest Bluff, died Saturday, Oct. 21, 2006, in Pascagoula, Miss. She was born
June 24, 1921 in Steubenville, Ohio. She was a member of Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in Mobile, Ala. Mrs. Towry was a retired secretary with Ingalls Shipbuilding in Pascagoula. She was a former secretary for the American Ambassador in Egypt. Arrangements Incomplete. Holder-Wells Funeral Home, Moss Point.
BLACKMAN
Maribob F. Blackman, 85, of Pascagoula, ended her journey on Oct. 22, 2006. Now she can tell Jesus, "I Love You," face to face. She never met a stranger and told everyone, as long as she could, "I Love You." She loved music and excelled on the piano and organ. She served as organist at Cairo, Ga., United Methodist Church, Richton United Methodist Church and First United Methodist Church in Pascagoula.

on July 28, 1976, in Pascagoula. He was an Eagle Scout with Boy Scouts of America #522 also Order of the Arrow with the Boy Scouts and an Army veteran

Mrs. Patricia Ann "Pat" Boutwell, 66, of Pascagoula died Thursday evening in a local hospital. born
Sept. 2, 1940, in Jackson County to the late Sydney Boyd and Bonnie Mae Fountain Wainwright, she had been a resident of Pascagoula all of her life. She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Post #160, and she made and sold crochet items under the name of "Things by Pat." On Oct. 17, 1958, in Creole, she married
the love of her life Robert "Bobby" Boutwell Sr.

Hermes Elmer Ladnier, 77, of Pascagoula, Miss., died Oct. 20, 2006 in Singing River Hospital in Pascagoula. He was born
Sept. 6, 1929, to the late Elmer and Verna (Ramsay) Ladnier. He devoted himself in love to serve his family with leadership and compassion. His family cherished their time with him and loved him deeply. He never met a stranger and took great joy in making others smile. He was a deacon of Ingalls Avenue Baptist Church. He served in the U.S. Navy and loved the ocean. He was a member of Scranton's gospel group for 16 years.

to Willie and Anna (Klein) Hacker in Kaiserslautern, Germany, she was raised by her stepmother, Else Schneider Hacker.

Martin Curtis Tucker, 92, of Quitman, Miss., died Oct. 19, 2006, at H.C. Watkins Memorial Hospital in Quitman. He was born
April 2, 1914, in Silas to the late Webster Adolphus Tucker and Lelia Martin. Mr. Tucker was a retired welder. He was a longtime resident of Moss Point and later retired to Elwood, Miss. He was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, and a former member and Deacon of Griffin Street Baptist Church in Moss Point, Miss.

Mrs. Molly Eddie Lee Woullard Moody, a native of Vernal, Miss. and a resident of Lucedale, Miss., departed this life Monday, Oct. 16, 2006 in a local hospital at the age of 64. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. Joe and Lilly Woullard; one sister; and two brothers.

June 21, but would let everyone guess what year. She was a court reporter for over sixteen years in the Jackson County court system.

Mrs. Lillie Bell Simpson, 89, of Gautier died after a short term illness on, Saturday, Oct. 14, 2006.

Ms. Clara A. Harris, 75, of Pascagoula, Miss., died Fri., Oct. 13, 2006.
HAMMOND
Alphonse (Al) Joseph Hammond passed away Thursday, Oct. 12, 2006, in his Gautier, Miss. home after a courageous battle with cancer. Al was born
July 19, 1939, in Plymouth, N.H., and was a long time resident of Gautier. He was a United States Navy submarine veteran, honorably discharged on July 17, 1963. Al retired from the Mason Chamberlain Army Ammunition Plant in Bay St. Louis where he held the position of plant manager. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Gautier. Al was active in the Submarine Veterans Tullabee Base. On behalf of this organization he designed the Submarine Veterans Memorial located at the Mississippi Vietnam Memorial in Ocean Springs.

PIPKINS
Daniel E. Pipkins, 73, of Lucedale, Miss., born
June 19, 1933, in Vernal, Miss., and died Oct. 12, 2006, in Green County, Miss. He was a U.S. Army Veteran, an electrician/foreman with Halter Marine for over 26 years and a portable saw mill operator for 12 years. He was of the Presbyterian faith.
TERKEURST
Mrs. SONIA JOYCE TERKEURST, 66, of Fernandina Beach, Fla., went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, Oct. 12, 2006, at her home. She was a native of Panama City, Fla., and lived in various locations around the country and finally moved to Fernandina Beach in 1994. She was a loving and dedicated wife, mother and homemaker throughout her life. She proudly attended Amelia Baptist Church in Fernandina. Heritage Funeral Home, Escatawpa, Miss.
