Nov. 6, 1936, in Pascagoula, Miss., and resident of Mobile, Ala., for the past 50 years, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2007. He was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church.

Ernest "Buck" William Griffin Sr. was born
Feb. 8, 1925, in Vancleave, Miss., and died on Nov. 28, 2007, in Ocean Springs, Miss.

WOLVERTON
Howard Dudley Wolverton, 80, of Moss Point, Miss., passed away Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2007, at home in Moss Point. He was born
in Neshoba County on Jan. 22, 1927. Mr. Wolverton served with the U.S. Army Engineers during World War II. He retired as fire chief from the Pascagoula Fire Department, in addition he also worked as a police officer and was the manager of Burnham Drugs in Moss Point.

Mr. Linward S. Crear Jr. was born
Sept. 2, 1955, in Moss Point, Miss., to the late Linward and Essie Mae Crear. Linward grew up in Moss Point, better known as "Kreole." He attended the Moss Point School District, where he graduated in 1974.

Eleanor "Eley" Salisbury, 76, of Gautier, Miss., died Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2007. Mrs. Salisbury was born
in Weehawken, N.J., on July 3, 1931. She married
Joseph "Pete" Salisbury on Oct. 9, 1954, and was the loving mother of four children. She was of Baptist faith and a member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Gautier.

Florine Cambridge Thomas, 52, of the Wade community, passed away Monday, Nov. 26, 2007, in Pascagoula, Miss. Florine was born
April 7, 1955, in Arizona. Mrs. Thomas worked in the painting department at Ingalls Shipbuilding for many years.

Howard Dudley Wolverton, 80, of Moss Point, Miss., passed away Tuesday, Nov., 27, 2007, at home in Moss Point. He was born

Richard Benjamin Carroll, 53, a native of Moss Point, Miss. and a resident of Houma, La., passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2007 at 4 p.m. after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was a member of Sugarland Golf Association, Unity Lodge 267 and Bond Hunting Club. He loved spending time with family and friends, enjoyed hunting, golfing and horses.

Mabel Virginia Spight Colle, formerly of Pascagoula, Miss., went to heaven on Nov. 24, 2007, in Oxford, Miss., at the young age of 99.

Evelyn Janine Devereaux died peacefully at home Nov. 24, 2007, following a valiant nine year battle with cancer.

Helen Parden Fairley, 82, was born
Dec. 30, 1924, in Silas, Ala., to Charlie and Eva Edwards Parden. She died Nov. 24, 2007, at her home in Gulf Hills, Ocean Springs, Miss. Helen married
Willie D. (Bill) Fairley, on Jan. 11, 1942. She grew up in George County and attended school therein. She attended school at all three Mississippi Universities, graduating from Mississippi State University with a Bachelors, Masters, and Advanced Masters Degree in Elementary Education. She taught school in Itawamba County, Starkville Municipal School District and Vicksburg Municipal. During the last few years of her career, she was the Supervisor of Elementary Reading in the Vicksburg System.

Lanola E. Hedman, 91, of Harleston, Miss., passed away Monday, Nov. 26, 2007, in Pascagoula, Miss..
PEREZ
Rev. Bobby Louis Perez, 80, died Friday, Nov. 23, 2007, at his home in Pascagoula, Miss. He was born
July 25, 1927, in Gulfport, Miss., and had been an ordained Assembly of God minister for over 40 years. Rev. Perez was a veteran of the Unites States Coast Guard (Merchant Marine), and the U.S. Army. He was a graduate of Lancaster Bible College in Lancaster, Pa., was a member of the Pascagoula Lion's Club, a long-time organizer for The Boy Scouts of America and served Mexico and several other Latin American countries with his missionary work for over 45 years.

Sept. 28, 1932, in George County, Miss. Mrs. Smith was a member of East Moss Point Baptist Church.

Mr. G. J. "Dutch" Wigley, age 79, of Lucedale, Miss., died Monday, Nov. 26, 2007, at his residence. born
June 4, 1928, in Batesville, Miss., to the late William Edward and Lucile Reynolds Wigley, he was a former longtime resident of Pascagoula, Miss. Dutch, as he was known to all of his friends, spent over 25 years with the Wayne Lee Grocery Company as a butcher. He loved bird hunting and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Nancy Susanne Gautier of Nashville, Tenn., died Nov. 23, 2007. born
March 12, 1957, in Mobile, Ala., she was raised in Pascagoula and Gautier, Miss. She had been a resident of Nashville for the last 18 years and worked as a paralegal.

Mr. Michael Tyrone (T-Moe) Moore, 48, of Pascagoula, Miss., died Friday, Nov. 16, 2007, at Singing River Hospital, Pascagoula. He was born
Jan. 12, 1959, in Moss Point, Miss., and has been a lifelong resident of the Jackson County area. Mr. Moore was of the Baptist faith and a member of First Missionary Baptist Church of Moss Point. He is a retired custodian of Thousand Trail Naco Resorts and a master of diesel and domestic mechanics.

Eugene Francis Villarrubia, long-time resident of Pascagoula, Miss., and recent resident of Mobile, Ala., died Saturday, Nov. 17, 2007, in Providence Hospital. Mr. Villarrubia was the youngest son of Leon Villarrubia and Myrtle Mary Hassinger Villarrubia of New Orleans, La.
