Mr. Turner R. Brown, 60, of Moss Point, Miss., was born
Jan. 11, 1944. Mr. Brown passed on to eternal life on Dec. 2, 2004, at his residence.
Viewing will be held from 9-9:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 4, 2004, at St. Peter's The Apostle Catholic Church on Telephone Road, Pascagoula, Miss.
Rosary will be recited from 9:30 to 9:45 a.m. and the Funeral Mass will begin promptly at 10 a.m. from the church.
Interment will be in Gabriella cemetery, Pascagoula, Miss.

FURBY
Mrs. Maxie L. Furby, 74, of Helena, Miss., died Thursday, Jan. 27, 2005, in Escatawpa. She was born
Aug. 4, 1930, in Pinola (Simpson County), Miss. Mrs. Furby was retired after more than 20 years of service to Wayne Lee's Grocery Store. She was a member of Pathway Baptist Church in the Lily Orchard community of Jackson County.
Mrs. Furby is survived by her husband of 56 years, Mr. Johnnie A. Furby of Lily Orchard; one sister, Mrs. Mildred Vincent of Cameron, La.; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 29, 2005, at Holder-Wells Funeral Home in Moss Point.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 30, 2005, at the funeral home chapel.
Interment will follow in Evergreen cemetery, Helena.
Pallbearers will be Clarence Furby Jr., Glenn Furby, Matthew Furby, Michael Ray Furby, Sr., Michael Ray Furby Jr. and Doc Goff.
Honorary pallbearers will be Lacy Goff, Harold Carter and David Williams.

TILLEY
Jeanette P. Tilley, 51, of Lucedale, Miss., died Jan. 28, 2005, in Biloxi, Miss. She was born
April 15, 1953, in Leakesville, Miss. Mrs. Tilley was a member of Magnolia Springs Assembly of God Church.
She was preceded in death by her father, Clyde Pipkins; mother, Vermel Brown Pipkins; brothers, William "Bill" Pipkins and David Pipkins.
Survivors include her husband of 33 years, Sonny Tilley of Lucedale, Miss.; son, Dustan L. Tilley of Sawnsboro, North Carolina; son, Justin O. Tilley of Lucedale, Miss.; sister, Alma Joyce Green of Leakesville, Miss.; sister, Catherine Harviston of Leakesville; sister, Bernice Jones of State Line, Miss.; sister, Margeret Lowery of Leakesville; brother, George M. Pipkins of Pascagoula, Miss.; brother, Lamar Pipkins of Escatawpa, Miss.; and brother, Frankie Pipkins of Leakesville.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 29, 2005, at Jackson County Funeral Services in Escatawpa.
Funeral will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 30, 2005, at Magnolia Springs Assembly of God Church in Hurley, Miss., with a visitation starting at 2 p.m. Sunday.
Officiating the services will be Rev. Bobby Lewis, Rev. Randy Griffin and Rev. Jerry Goff.
Burial will follow in Rosedale cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Daniel Tilley, Jacob Tilley, Jakie Green, David Pipkins, Christopher Pipkins and Scotty Brown.

PRICE
Mr. Richard C. Price, 100, of Gautier, Miss., died Monday, Jan. 24, 2005, in Ocean Springs, Miss. He was born
July 19, 1904, in Cincinnati, Ohio. Throughout World War II, Mr. Price worked in a United States defense plant for which he received several commendations recognizing his diligent service to the country's war effort. After moving to Mississippi, he received his master's degree in psychology from Mississippi Southern University in Hattiesburg.
Mr. Price worked as an educator on the junior high and high school levels, and later retired after having served many years in the Pascagoula, Miss., and Mobile County, Ala., school systems. He was an elder and active member of First Presbyterian Church of Pascagoula.
Mr. Price was preceded in death by his father and mother, Mr. William C. and Mrs. Florence Ott Price; his wife, Mrs. Kathryn Pollard Price; a daughter, Marian Zemina; and a brother, Dr. William Price.
He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Mary G. Price of Birmingham, Ala.; a son-in-law, Charlie Zemina of Plantation, Fla.; a brother, Mr. Edgar Price of Lexington, S.C.; four grandchildren, Paige Northcutt of McMinnville, Tenn., Kayce Zemina of Tallahassee, Fla., Charles Price of Moody, Ala., and Elizabeth Pierce of Bessemer, Ala.; two great-grandchildren, Tanner Pierce and Reid Pierce; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2005, at Holder-Wells Funeral Home in Moss Point.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 27, 2005, at First Presbyterian Church of Pascagoula with the Rev. Robert Kates officiating. There will be a one hour visitation in the church prior to service time. Interment will follow in Crestlawn cemetery in Ocean Springs.

OVERSTREET
Mr. Howard C. "Van" Overstreet, age 43, of Vancleave, Miss., passed away Saturday, Jan. 15, 2005, in Gulfport, Miss., following an 11-year battle with cancer.
He was born
July 8, 1961, in Hattiesburg, Miss., and was a graduate of USM with a degree in Marine Biology. He developed a love for the sea while working aboard the USM-Gulf Coast Research Vessel Tommy Munro and obtained his captains's license while surviving his initial fight with cancer. Van was an avid hunter and fisherman, whose exploits will remain legendary among his many friends from the Hattiesburg, Petal, and Gulf Coast areas.
Van was preceded in death by his father, Navy Lt. Cmdr. James H. Overstreet. He is survived by his mother, Ruth Overstreet, brothers, Ken, Keith, and Val, Uncle Don and Aunt Marilyn Logan, Uncle Tommy Overstreet, and a very special friend, Wendy Calogero.
Visitation will be on Thursday, Jan. 20, 2005, from 9 to 10 a.m., with a 10 a.m. funeral service, all at Vancleave United Methodist Church in Vancleave. A second service will be held at Parkway Heights United Methodist Church in Hattiesburg, with visitation from 2-3 p.m., and a 3 p.m. funeral service. A graveside service will be held following at Roseland Park cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Paul Beaugez, Stan Williams, David Liverett, Greg Carpenter, David Mann, Micky Loewer, Harry Hunt, and Fred Curry. Pastor Larry Maugh of Vancleave United Methodist Church will officiate.
The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Master Timothy James Harris, 15, was born
Aug. 18, 1990, in Mobile, Ala. Timothy was called home on Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2005, at Portsmouth Naval Hospital in Norfolk, Va.
Timothy was born
as one of God's chosen Angels. He leaves to cherish a loving and devoted mother and father LaMonica and Terrance Bodie of Norfolk, Va.; his dad Tommy (Tracy) Wilson of Schenectady, N.Y.; a twin sister TIffany; two brothers, Marquez of Norfolk, Va. and Darrius Harris of Moss Point. Timothy also has two more sisters and four brothers; grandmother Janice (Fide) Diaz of Gautier; a devoted grandfather WIllie Matthews; great-grandfathers Eddie Williams and Jimmy Patterson of Moss Point, Miss.; a host of great-aunts, great-uncles, cousins, friends and family.
Viewing will be held 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 30, 2005, at Meridian Street Church of Christ on Meridian St., Moss Point, Miss.
Funeral Services will be held 2 p.m. at the church.
Interment will be in Macphelah cemetery, Pascagoula, Miss.

SHOTTS
Nettie Lee Shotts, 95, of Pascagoula, died Saturday, Jan. 15, 2005, in Pascagoula.
She was born
June 27, 1909, in Grenada County, Miss., and has been a resident for 43 years. She was a member of Riverside Baptist Church in Pascagoula and devoted wife and homemaker to her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Glover Erby Shotts; two daughters and one son-in-law, Vermelle Shotts Grantham and Iva Shotts Baum (Charles Louis).
Survived by granddaughter, Cindy Roddy (Charles), Moss Point; grandson, Gregg Baum, Pascagoula; son-in-law, Dudley Grantham, Hattiesburg; three great-grandchildren, Dawn Lassitter (Jason), Wade; Suzanne King (David), Ocean Springs; Lane Westergaard (John), Winter Park, Fla.; six great-great-grandchildren, Caleb and Mallory Lassitter, Avery King, Jessica Hall, Hannah and George Westergaard; two sisters, Willie Snell, Pascagoula; Bennie Faye Everett, Greenwood, Miss.; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation: Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2005, 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at O'Bryant-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Pascagoula, Miss.
Funeral Service will follow at 1 p.m. from the funeral home chapel with Rev. Tracy Martin officiating.
Interment: Agricola Baptist Church cemetery, Agricola, Miss.
Pallbearers will be John Prine, Mark Prine, Percy Grimsley, Claude Snell Jr., Jason Lassitter and David King.
MASSENGALE
Mr. Kent Massengale recently of Garden Estates Retirement Center in Tyler, Texas, passed away at a local Tyler hospital on Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2005, following a brief illness. He was a former resident of Gautier, Miss., retiring here in 1980, until moving to Texas in late 1999.
Mr. Massengale was a member of Gautier United Methodist Church, a former Rotarian and a lifetime member of the Mississippi Senior Golf Association.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie Earl Massengale and Bessie Hughes Massengale, and a brother, Coleman A. (Mule) Massengale, all of Hattiesburg; and a 4-year-old daughter, Patricia Lea Massengale.
Survivors include his wife, Mary, of Tyler, Texas; a daughter, Trudy M. Ratcliff, Chandler, Texas; and sons, Ken of Brandon and Dennis of Tyler, Texas; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 12, 2005, in Hattiesburg, at Highland cemetery.

BRYANT
Mrs. Jeryl Bryant, 73, of Escatawpa, Miss., died Tuesday, May 24, 2005 in Mobile, Ala. She was born
June 8, 1931 in Brewton, Ala. She was a homemaker and a member of Canaan Assembly of God Church in Escatawpa, Miss.
Her husband, Wesley M. Bryant; parents, Travis and Eula Lynn; and brothers; preceded her in death.
Survivors include loving and caring daughters, Judy Seymour of Pascagoula, Miss., Candaus (Jerry) Abston of Moss Point, Miss., Sherri (Andrew) Fox of Semmes, Ala.; sister, Frances Ray of Escatawpa, Miss.; brother, Gene Lynn of Gautier, Miss.; nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday, May 26, 2005 from 9-11 a.m., at Canaan Assembly of God Church in Escatawpa, Miss.
Funeral will be Thursday, at 11 a.m., from Canaan Assembly of God Church in Escatawpa, Miss., with the Rev. Rodney Coleman officiating.
Burial will follow in Serene Memorial Gardens in Escatawpa, Miss.
