Mrs. Nettie Olivia (Morie) Wells, 88, of Franklin Creek, went home to be with her heavenly Father on Thursday, June 23, 2005. She was born
Dec. 29, 1916 in Grand Bay, Ala. Mrs. Wells was a homemaker and a charter member of New Vision Church of God in Franklin Creek. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Mr. Johnnie and Mrs. Mittie Trehern Morie; her husband of 46 years, Mr. Orie Hurlen Wells; two brothers, Otis Morie and J.V. Morie; a sister, Creasy Patteson; one granddaughter; one great granddaughter; two great grandsons; and two sons-in-law.
BOONE
Mrs. Dorothy Ellen Boone, 84, died Friday, June 24, 2005 at her home in Grand Bay, Ala. She was born
Aug. 19, 1920 in Hoopeston, Ill. Mrs. Boone was a resident of Escatawpa for more than 20 years before moving to Grand Bay. She was a member of Escatawpa Assembly of God Church but had been unable to attend for some time due to health problems. Mrs. Boone had asked Jesus into her heart some 50 years ago and her faith never wavered. Mrs. Boone was a cosmetologist, a homemaker and spent five years as a C.A.S.A. Volunteer for the Jackson County Youth Court, and also helped raise 17 foster children. Besides her love of children, she was always concerned for abused and homeless animals. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Mr. C.E. and Mrs. Pearl Tarpley; three brothers; and one sister, Dorothea Beasley of Grand Bay, Alabama.

Mrs. Ruby Lee Lindsey Couch, 86, of Pascagoula, Miss., died Thursday, June 23, 2005 in Pascagoula. She was born
June 25, 1918 in Evergreen, La.

Kathleen Ellis Schwartz, age 97, of Ocean Springs, Miss., died peacefully at her home on Thursday, June 23, 2005.

Jefferson David Broadnax, Jr. was born
to the union of the late Jefferson David Broadnax, Sr. and Josephine Hyde Broadnax on August 2, 1947. He departed this earthly life on Monday, June 13, 2005 in the Veterans Hospital in Hampton, Virginia.
COLEMAN
James Edward Coleman, age 84, born
in Mobile, Ala., and a resident of the Bromley Community of Bay Minette, Ala., died Wednesday, June 22, 2005, at Mercy Medical in Daphne, Ala. He was a retired Materials Manager at the Alabama State Docks. He was a veteran of World War II having served in the U.S. Army.
DUNMIRE
Alice Virginia "Ms. Ginny" Price Burnett Dunmire passed away June 21, 2005 at the age of 62. She was born
on June 21, 1943, to C.V. and Hazel Price, in Neshoba County, Miss. Ginny, raised in Pascagoula, was a long time resident of Moss Point, before moving to Theodore. She was a homemaker.
POLK
Mr. Raymond Polk, 85, of Harleston, Miss., was called home on June 20, 2005. He was born
Oct. 4, 1919. Mr. Polk retired with Corning Glass after 26 years. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Sarah "Bobbie" Polk; his parents, Tom and Rossie (Moore) Polk; sister, Aznet (Jones) Polk; and brother, Eneaus Polk.
WASHINGTON
Mrs. Sarah Nell Jones Washington, 81, of Vancleave, Miss., died Wednesday, June 22, 2005 in Big Point at her daughter's residence. Mrs. Washington was born
Sept. 16, 1923 in New Hebron, Miss. She was a member of Wade Baptist Church. Mrs. Washington worked in the cafeteria for many years at International Paper Company and later owned and operated her own restaurant in Moss Point. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, friend, and will be sadly missed by all. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, George Marvin Washington; two brothers; and six sisters.
GAUTIER
Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Gautier, a native of Columbus, Miss. and resident of Pascagoula, Miss. passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2005. She was 80.
LEE
Sgt. Terrance Delan Lee, Sr., age 25, a native of Moss Point, Miss., died Saturday, June 11, 2005 in Amiriyah, Iraq, a little dot on the map just a speck away from a larger dot known as Baghdad. Hungry with a desire to travel and experience more of the world and its people, Terrance felt the military could offer him such an opportunity and entered the Navy for a short time and then joined the National Guard's 155th Armor Brigade Combat Team, known as "Dixie Thunder" in 2003. Terrance once told his Mom and "Granmama", "I can be killed walking on the streets of Moss Point just as easily, and if I were to die in Iraq, I will be fighting for my country and doing what I feel is right." On Friday, June 24, 2005, a grateful country will present to his family the Purple Heart, given for wounds received in hostile action, and the Bronze Star, given for meritorious service. Sgt. Terrance Lee's duty, performance and selfless service were in keeping with the highest traditions of military service and reflect great credit upon himself, the Multi-National Corps Iraq, and the United States Army. He gave the ultimate sacrifice.

Dec. 5, 1951 in Portsmouth, Va.

Ms. Neliouse Goff, 61, of Wade, Miss., went to be with her Lord on June 19, 2005 in Pascagoula, Miss. Ms. Nell was a member of Wade Baptist Church. She was employed with H & H Chevron in Wade.
HUDSON
Jerred Lee Hudson, 19, of Gautier, Miss., passed away Sunday, June 19, 2005, in Pascagoula, Miss. Jerred was born
May 5, 1986, in Pascagoula. He was a 2005 graduate of Gautier High School, and had enrolled to go to MGCCC in the fall. Known as "Big Hud", he was everybody's friend.
JONES
Leroy Jones was born
June 27, 1959 in Pascagoula, Miss. to the late Nancy Lee (Jones) Hurd. And his step father George (Walter) Hurd. He departed his life June 15, 2005 at his home. He was known for his work, following in his step father's footsteps, as a brick (mason) layer.

Mr. James Ledlow, 53, of Vancleave, Miss., died Wednesday, June 15, 2005.
SHELTON
James Carl Shelton, Sr., 64, of Carrollton, Miss. passed away Thursday, June 16, 2005 at his home. born
in Vaiden, Miss. Mr. Shelton was a former resident of Pascagoula from 1945-1984. He lived in Carroll County since 1984. He served in the Marine Corp for five years during the Cuban Crisis, he also served in Okinawa. He worked at Ingalls Shipbuilding for ten years and Brown & Root for several years. He retired from Georgia Pacific as a Maintenance Supervisor in Duck Hill, Miss. He was a member of the Family Worship Center in Greenwood, Miss.

Mr. Frank Wayne Cruse, 48, of Gautier, Miss., died Saturday, June 18, 2005, in Ocean Springs, Miss.
SCRUGGS
Helen Furlow Scruggs, 95, of Pascagoula, Miss., passed away at her home on Aug. 27, 2005. A native of Brookhaven, Miss., she was a resident of Pascagoula since 1957.
CHESTANG
Lottie Mae Chestang, born
May 29, 1932, to the late Nellie Sterling and Wilson Fagan, departed this life Aug. 24, 2005. She was preceded in death by her late husband, Willie and two daughters, Connie Renee and Angela Dale Chestang. She was a lifelong resident of Moss Point, Miss. for 73 years. She was a member of First Missionary Baptist Church, Pastor's Aide, Church Choir, Heroines of Jericho, George Washington Carver, Court #140, and Magnolia High School Class of 1952. She was a retiree of Northrop Grumman (Ingalls) after 22 years of service.

Mr. David Lewis Wallace, 56, of Tallahassee, Fla., died Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2005, in Gautier, Miss. He was born
Aug. 25, 1948, in Gastonia, N. C. Mr. Wallace was retired as the Director of Ground Management for Delta Airlines having lived and worked in Atlanta, Ga., Dallas, Texas, Denver, Colo., Los Angeles, Calif., New York City, and in Dublin and Shannon, Ireland. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Mr. Edward Grantly and Mrs. Mildred Rush Wallace; a sister, Phyllis Werner; and his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Lilly Bell Wallace.

Clara Beatrice Poole Bethany, 75, of Helena, Miss., died Aug. 21, 2005, in Pascagoula, Miss. She was born
Sept. 7, 1929, in Tupelo, Miss. Mrs. Bethany was a Sales Associate with Bargain Annex. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Effie Curry; four sisters; three brothers; spouses, Walter Poole and Ralph Bethany; granddaughter-in-law, Suzie; and two great grandchildren.

Lucille Graham, 76, of Escatawpa, Miss., died Aug. 23, 2005. Mrs. Graham was born
Sept. 13, 1929, in New Site, Miss. She was a member of the American Legion Post Number 160 in Pascagoula Miss. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Cleora Crabb; and brothers, Randle and O.C. Crabb.
SADLER
Robert Clyde Sadler, born
July 7, 1939, passed away Aug. 24, 2005. Robert was born
and raised in Niagara Falls, N.Y. He graduated from LaSalle High School in 1957 and then joined the U.S. Navy. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Levi Sadler and mother, Geraldine McGill.
