Henry Ernest Ryan, 91, formerly of Pascagoula, Miss., died June 16, 2004, in Hattiesburg, Miss. He was born
Feb. 25, 1913, in Jackson County, Miss. He was a rigger with Ingalls Shipbuilding and worked as a commercial fisherman. Mr. Ryan was of the Methodist faith and was a former member of Caswell Springs United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Mattie Ryan, and wife, Avie Lampkin Ryan.

Mr. Howard Wilbert Slider, 86, of Hurley, Miss., died June 16, 2004, in Pascagoula, Miss. Mr. Slider was a retired engineer with Teledyne Electronics. He served in the Air Force during World War II and was a member of Magnolia Springs Assembly of God Church.
CARENO
Elder Charles Leon Ca-reno Sr., 76, of Pascagoula, Miss., died June 15, 2004, at Singing River Hospital. He was born
Dec. 13, 1927, in Pascagoula, Miss. Mr. Careno was a member of the Community of Christ Church and was an Elder with R.L.D.S. Church. He retired as a superintendent with the Machine Shop at Ingalls Shipbuilding after 42 years of service. Mr. Careno was preceded in death by his parents, Emanuel and Ethel Careno.
HARPER
Agnes Zola Mae' Harper, 83, of Gautier, Miss., died June 15, 2004, at her residence. She was born
Feb. 12, 1921 in Tuscaloosa, Ala. Mrs. Harper was a homemaker and member of Midway Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Moose Lodge and VFW (Wives) Club. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence Ervin and Martha Leona Ezell, and husband, Ernest Clyde Harper.

Mr. James Macon Carroll, 50, of Gautier, Miss., died Sunday, May 13, 2004, in Gautier.
RICHARDS
Mrs. Caroldeen Hilda Richards, age 71, born
July 12, 1932, in Stanley, Wis., and a resident of Pascagoula for the past 51 years, died Sunday, June 13, 2004. Mrs. Richards was a member of Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church and a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary in Gautier, Miss.

Charles Shaddix, age 70, passed away Friday, June 11, 2004, in a local hospital.

Edward M. Sample, 66, of Gulfport, Miss., died Saturday, June 12, 2004, in Gulfport, Miss. Mr. Sample was born
in Anguilla, Miss., and had been a resident of the Coast for the past 50 years. He served in the U.S. Navy as a boilerman, second class from 1950 to 1959. He retired as a self em-ployed general contractor after 42 years on the Coast, owning and operating Sample's General Contracting business.

Molly Jo Kibby, 60, of Moss Point, died June 11, 2004, in Pascagoula, Miss. She was born
March 21, 1944, in Neshoba County, Miss. She lived in Jackson County most of her life and was a member of Family Life Church in Jackson County.

Pamela Renee Byrd Faggard, 40, died Thursday, June 10, 2004, at her home in Wade. She was born
Aug. 15, 1963, in Hattiesburg. Pam was the owner of Keeping You In Stitches monogram shop and was a member of Three Rivers Assembly of God Church. She was preceded in death by her brother, Kenna Byrd Jr.

July 1, 1943, in Prentiss, Miss., departed this life on June 4, 2004, at his residence.
DAVIS
Mr. Clarence Chester Davis, 64, of Escatawpa, Miss., died June 9, 2004, in Biloxi, Miss. He was born
Jan. 26, 1940, in Davisville, Fla. He was a supervisor with Marine Industrial Contractors and a member of Ridglea Heights Baptist Church. Mr. Davis served nine years in the U.S. Navy. He was preceded in death by his parents, Pinkie and Verchie Davis; and a brother, Climmie (Sonny) Davis.
GOFF
Rev. Coody Goff, 88, of the Three Rivers community died June 9, 2004, at his home. born
July 9, 1915, in George County, Miss. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Asaleen Howell Goff; two sisters; nine brothers; two sons-in-law, Bobby Foster and H.L. Stringer; grandson, Anthony Foster; and special sister-in-law, Toddie Olsen.
SHELTON
Mr. Clarence C. Shelton, age 89, of Ocean Springs, Miss., died Tuesday, June 8, 2004, in Ocean Springs. Mr. Shelton was a resident of the Coast for 44 years and served in the U.S. Army, 81st Infantry Division during World War II. After the war, he opened his own radio repair shop in Centralia, Ill. He eventually was employed with civil service in electronics repair at Scott Air Force Base and then at Keesler Air Force Base in 1959. He retired from Keesler in 1981. Mr. Shelton was preceded in death by his parents, Charley and Senie Shelton, and two brothers, Ernest and Virgil Shelton.

Mr. Vivian Coats Jr., a native of Clarke County, Ala., was the oldest son born
to Frances and Vivian Coats Sr., on Sept. 20, 1946. He departed this life Saturday, June 5, 2004, at 3:30 p.m. at the Singing River Hospital, Pascagoula, Miss.
GOLDSMITH
Lizzie Goldsmith, 54, died on Friday, June 4, 2004, in a hospital in Jackson, Miss. She was a native and resident of Pascagoula, Miss. She was a welder in the local ship yards for a number of years, and was also a member of The Christian Church of The Living God.
HAYNES
Willie (Pepper) Haynes of Moss Point, Miss., died June 3, 2004, at his residence. He was born
July 9, 1946, in Enterprise, Miss., to the late Willie Williams and Minnie Ella Williams. His adopted parents were George and Beatrice Haynes. He confessed Christ at a very young age and united with he Church of Christ. He was an Army veteran who retired only two years ago after working 35 years at Morton Thiokol, now known as Rohm and Haas chemical plant. His two loves in life were fishing and coaching a girls softball team. He was preceded in death by his adopted parents, Willie Williams and Beatrice Haynes; grandson, Julian Haynes; grandmother, Elsie Sanders and Laura Lee Dukes, Aunt Bessie Bradley; uncles, Willie James Evans, Mose Sanders and Earl Sanders; mother and father-in-law, Roy and Earnestine Long; and brothers-in-law, Neamie Murray and Calvin Long.

Mrs. Inez M. Heathington was born
June 9, 1920, in Miley, Ala., to the union of Charlie and Mattie Myles. She was called to her heavenly home on Thursday, June 3, 2004. She was 83 years old.

March 25, 1942, and entered into eternal peace June 6, 2004.
BRUMFIELD
Hautie Rials Brumfield, 90 of Gautier, Miss., died Saturday, June 5, 2004 in Gautier, Miss. A native of Walthall County, she was a homemaker and a member of Magee's Creek Baptist Church and longtime member of Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Brumfield, one brother, Macon Rials and her parents, Esco Rials and Cornelia Boone Rials.
LEE
Mr. Adrian Gordon Lee, age 74, of Ocean Springs, Miss., died Sunday, June 6, 2004, in Ocean Springs. Mr. Lee was born
in Pinola, Miss., on Aug. 3, 1929. He was a real estate broker, political activist, pilot, self-employed businessman, and was a member of First Baptist Church in Ocean Springs. Living his earlier years in Sondheimir, La., he graduated from Lake Providence High School and attended Northeast College in Monroe, La., and Louisiana Tech in Ruston, La. He was previously employed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Waterways Experiment Station in Vicksburg, Miss., and served on the Mississippi State Oil and Gas Board, the Board of Directors and Deputy Executive Director of the Pat Harrison Waterway District in Hattiesburg, Miss., and a former elected member of the Mississippi House of Representatives from Natchez, Adams County, Miss. Mr. Lee was also a member of the Masonic Harmony Lodge, the Grand York Rite Bodies of Miss., both in Natchez, Miss., He was a charter member of the Order of the Eastern Star #394 of Ocean Springs, a member of the Louisiana Thoroughbred Breeders Association and the Florida Thoroughbred Breeders and Owners Association, the Pilots International Association, and was a lifetime member of the 1699 Historical Committee in Ocean Spr-ings. He was a former member of the Jackson County Republican Executive Committee, and Republican Municipal Chairman for the City of Ocean Springs. His name selection was chosen for the Joppa Temple and was a charter member who served on the organizing committee. Mr. Lee was a private pilot and enjoyed breeding and racing thoroughbred horses in his later years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Porter Shelby Lee and Elizabeth Flora Vining Lee, his brother, Buford Lee, his sisters, Janet Lee, Helen Whitten, and Doris Cain.
NICHOLSON
Margaret Mayo Nicholson, 83, born
April 30, 1922 in Aurora, NC, died Sunday, June 6, 2004 at Singing River Rehab and Nursing Center. She was a longtime resident of Pascagoula and a faithful member of First Baptist Church, Pascagoula. Mrs. Nicholson was proud to have helped in the war effort by working in the Pentagon during World War II.
