HOLLINGSWORTH
Mr. Warren "Holly" W. Hollingsworth Sr., 81, of Ocean Springs, Miss., died Friday, Jan. 30, 2004, in Ocean Springs. Mr. Hollingsworth was born
Sept. 25, 1922 in Vancleave. He graduated from high school in Dubach, La., and entered the CCC Camp and then the Army Air Force in 1939. He saw action in the U.S. Air Force in the Southwest Pacific Theater, 5th Air Force. He retired as master sergeant at Barksdale AFB, Bossier City, La. in 1963. Mr. Hollingsworth worked six and a half years with the U. S. Postal Service in Ocean Springs. He was a 50-year Mason of the St. Albans Lodge No. 028, Jackson, Louisiana and was of the Methodist faith.
MCGHEE
Mr. Kevin Howard McGhee, 36, of Biloxi, Miss., was a lifelong resident of the community and was a Sous Chef at the New Palace Casino Resort. He graduated from Ocean Springs High School and attended Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. He was employed at the Flour Sack Tea Room in Ocean Springs and was a member of St. Pauls United Methodist Church. Mr. McGhee was preceded in death by his father, Robert Lewis McGhee Jr., a National Park Ranger.

Georgia Lee (Trehern) Roberts, 75, of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away peacefully Feb. 1, 2004.
MATHIEU

Deward V. Sloan, 74, of Gautier, Miss., died Thursday, March 18, 2004, at his residence. He was preceded in death by his parents, Deward and Stella Sloan.
BELK
Perry Jack Belk, 81, of Hurley, Miss., died Thursday, March 18, 2004, in Pascagoula, Miss. Mr. Belk was born
on Oct. 18, 1922 in Neshoba County, Miss. He was a lifelong resident of Jackson County and a U.S. Army World War II veteran serving in the South Sea islands. He retired from the International Paper Co., after 32 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents, Perry and Nellie Belk; brothers, Chester Belk, B. G. Belk, H.C. Belk, Covie Belk and Truman Belk and daughter-in-law, Polly Belk.
DAVIS
Anita Bond Davis, 62, of Pascagoula, Miss., died Tuesday, March 16, 2004, at her residence after a long, hard fought battle of heart disease. Mrs. Davis was born
Nov. 4, 1941, in Biloxi, Miss., and had been a lifelong resident of the coastal area. She was a member of the Lighthouse Baptist Church of Pascagoula, Miss. She adored her family and beautiful grandchildren and enjoyed the beauty of the flowers and brilliant colors of God's Garden. She will be greatly missed by her friends and family.
HOSKINS
James Edward Hoskins, 87, of Moss Point, Miss., died Sunday, March 14, 2004, at his home. He was born
in Louisville, Miss., June 15, 1916. Mr. Hoskins was an Army veteran of World War II. He was previously employed at International Paper Co., H. K. Porter and later retired from Ingalls Shipbuilding in 1980. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eddie and Bessie Hairston; two sisters, Ruth Mitchell and Paula Bales; one brother, Oliver B. Hairston; and one daughter, Deborah Hoskins Nettles.
JERKINS
Thomas Edward Jerkins, age 65, died Wednesday, March 17, 2004, in Pascagoula, Miss. Mr. Jerkins was born
Oct. 3, 1938, in Stapleton, Ala. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of Ingalls Avenue Baptist Church in Pascagoula. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Thomas and Bertha Lucille Jerkins; one son, James David Jerkins; and a sister, Lucille Gibson.

Paul Michael Bowman, 60, of Pascagoula, Miss., died Monday, March 15, 2004, in Singing River Hospital, Pascagoula. He was born
July 17, 1943 in Pascagoula and had been a life-long resident. He was a graduate of the class of 1961 from Pascagoula High School and employed as a field engineer for C.D.I. He was a member of American Legion Post # 160 in Pascagoula and was a U.S. Navy Veteran. Mr. Bowman was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Pascagoula. He was preceded in death by his father, Mac Bowman.

HAMILTON
MSGT Denson D. "Rip" Hamilton Sr., 81, of Grand Bay, Ala., died Tuesday, March 16, 2004, at his residence. He was born
Jan. 6, 1923, in Hurley, Miss., and had been a resident of Grand Bay since 1965. He retired as a Master Sergeant from the U.S. Air Force after serving 22 years. He served during WWII and the Korean War.

James Edward Hoskins, 87, of Moss Point, Miss., died Sunday, March 14, 2004, at his home. He was born

Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Dovie Hoskins of Moss Point; six daughters, Jessie Jean Smith, Chicago, Ill., Precious (Samuel) Cox of Canton, Ohio, Brenda Hoskins of Pascagoula, Miss., Chearlyn Ingram of Moss Point, Miss., Shirley Hoskins of Pascagoula, Shelia Lewis of Pascagoula, Miss.; two sons, Charles (Shirley) Hoskins, Gautier, James Jerome Hoskins of Long Beach, Miss.; three sisters, Eddy Lee Wansley of Flint, Mich., Emma D. (Rosevelt) Wright and Camellia Hairston of Jersey City, N.J.; one brother, Charles L. Hairston of Calif.; 16 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. Services will be 6 p.m. Friday, March 19, at Asbury Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church in Pascagoula. Interment will be Saturday, March 20, 10 a.m., at Jackson County Memorial Gardens on Ingalls Ave., Pascagoula. Arrangements by Turner Gulf Funeral Service, Pascagoula, Miss.
MCCARDLE
Anthony E. McCardle, 45, of Hurley, Miss., died Tuesday, March 16, 2004, in Mobile, Ala. He was born
Feb. 2, 1959 in Mobile, Ala. He was a member of The Pascagoula Masonic Lodge #419 and assistant coach of the East Central Jr. High School Football Team. Tony was a devoted father, husband and brother. Mr. McCardle had several nicknames some of which are, Mr. Tony, Junior, Big Mack and Coach Tony. He was a friend to all and was loved and respected by the children of Hurley. Mr. Tony was the owner and driver of the tweety bird truck and waved at everyone he passed. He was considered to be one of the last true southern gentlemen. Tony was devoted to his career and his co-workers of Chevron. He will be greatly missed by all. He was preceded in death by his mother, Myra Nell Brister and step-father, Richard Brister. Survivors include his wife, Kimberly Hypes McCardle, one daughter, Ashley McCardle, one son, Justin R. (Bubba) McCardle, all of Hurley, Miss.; father, Gordon E. (Betty Joyce) Ryals, Vancleave, Miss.; two brothers, Brian K. McCardle, Gautier, Miss. and Jeffrey P. McCardle, Whitehouse, Tenn.; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other relatives. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, March 18, at Jackson County Funeral Services, Escatawpa, Miss. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, March 19, from the chapel of Jackson County Funeral Services with the Rev. Roger Bradley and the Rev. James Miller officiating. Interment will be in Griffin cemetery, Moss Point, Miss. Pallbearers are Owen Newman, Sam Koster, Curtis Green, Alvin McQueen, Earl Walker, Shawn Bradley, Rick Hansen and Richard Gautier. Honorary pallbearers are the East Central Jr. High football team. Arrangements by Jackson County Funeral Services, Escatawpa, Miss.

Mr. Carter Landon Roane departed this earthly life on Friday, March 12, 2004. He was born
March 8, 1970 in Moss Point, Miss. He was preceded in death by one brother, Darren; and sister, Kathy.

DUBOSE
Mr. Foye DuBose Sr., 84, of Moss Point, Miss., was born
Feb. 22, 1920, in Monroeville, Ala. Mr. DuBose passed on to eternal life Thursday, March 11, 2004. He was the second of six children added to the union of the late Willie and Georgiann DuBose. Mr. DuBose was enlisted in the U.S. Army, serving during World War II and was Honorably Discharged. Foye was a Journeyman Plumber, Electrician, serving the public for over 50 years, and in addition was employed at the International Paper Mill from which he retired after 46 years of faithful service.

Kanta Sabharwal, 64, of Long Beach Miss., died March 14, 2004, in Moss Point, Miss., born
Oct. 28, 1939 in New Dehli, India. She was an educator with the Moss Point School System.
EALY
Mrs. Pearlie L. Ealy, age 74, of Ocean Springs, Miss., died Saturday, March 13, 2004, in Mobile, Ala. Mrs. Ealy was born
in Vancleave, Miss., resided in Ocean Springs, and was a lifelong resident of the community. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin B. Ealy Sr., her parents, Tony and Viola Ladnier, sisters, Sophia Waltman and Diola Williams, and brothers, Ellis, Emile and Elmer Ladnier.
HOLMBERG
Michael Jason Holmberg, 24, of Big Point, died Sunday, March 14, 2004, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born
Jan. 8, 1980, in Pascagoula. Michael was a 1998 graduate of East Central High School. He was a loving son, brother, father, grandson, uncle and friend. Michael will be greatly missed by all. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ernst and Myrtle Holmberg.

Mrs. Jo Ann Sellers, 56, died March 14, 2004, at her home. Mrs. Sellers was a native of Lucedale, Miss., a resident of Live Oak St., Lucedale, Miss., a school teacher at George County High School, member of the National Education Association, Mississippi Association of Education, George County Education Association, Mississippi Press Women, former member of the Fine Arts Club, and the Full Gospel Church.

Mrs. Josephine Barnes Stuart, 79, of Moss Point, Miss., died March 14, 2004, in Moss Point. She was born
Dec. 18, 1924, in Calhoun Co., Miss. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Victor and Dora Barnes; her husband, Ocar Carroll Stuart; and her brother, Alvin L. Barnes.
WHITE
George "Allen" Albert-Dalmar White, 30, of Gautier, died Friday, March 12, 2004, in Pascagoula. Allen was born
Feb. 16, 1974, in Pascagoula, Miss. He was a pipefitter by trade, and a member of the Plumbers & Pipefitters Local No. 568 of Gulfport. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Fred A. and Dora Perry Nolf; paternal grandparents, Marshall E. and Louella D. White; and cousin, Brian M. Nolf.
DeLANCEY
Bobby Louis DeLancey, 56, of Moss Point, Miss., died March 11, 2004, in Moss Point. He was born
Sept. 3, 1947, in Shelby County, Tenn. Mr. DeLancey was retired from the Army and Navy in which he served faithfully for 30 years. He served tours of duty in the Vietnam conflict and the Persian Gulf War.
