MILLER
Mary Bernice "Little Mama Granny" Miller, 89, departed this life at her home on Feb. 20, 2004. She was born
March 14, 1914, to the union of Richard and Irene Williams. Little Mama was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church.
MIZELL
Cleven Lee Mizell, 51, of Pascagoula, Miss., died Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2004, at Tulane Medical Center. Mr. Mizell, a native of Darlin, Miss., was a resident of Pascagoula for 13 years. He was a truck driver.
CAMPBELL
James Robert Campbell, 69, of Gautier, Miss., formerly of Hattisburg, Miss., died Feb. 21, 2004, in Ocean Springs, Miss. born
May 17, 1934, in Ovett, Miss., to Obie and Roberta Campbell. Mr. Campbell graduated from Petal High Schooland graduated from Mississippi State University. Mr. Campbell served in the U.S. Navy in the Korean War aboard the USS Wisconsin. He was former owner and operator of Campbell Air Conditioning in Hattisburg. He was former Commander in Chief of the American Legion in Hattisburg. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Vancleave, Miss.

Mr. Fred Cuthbert Davis, 72, of Ocean Springs, Miss., died Sat., Feb. 21, 2004, in Ocean Springs.
PENTON
Mary Cutler Penton, 87, of Mobile, Ala. and formerly of Gautier, Miss., died Fri., Feb. 20, 2004, in Mobile.
BRELAND
Charles K. "Buddy" Breland, Sr., age 78, a native of Merrill, Miss., and a longtime resident of Forts Lake Community passed away at his residence on Thursday, Feb. 19, 2004.
GRIFFIN
Mr. Bobby E. Griffin, 56, of Moss Point, Miss. died Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2004, at his home in Moss Point. He was born
Oct. 7, 1947, in Niceville, Fla. He was a retired paint contractor and Army veteran. He was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his father, James Griffin; and one brother, Charles Griffin.
KIMMERLY
Mary Busby Kimmerly, 72, of Vancleave, Miss., died Thursday, Feb. 19, 2004, in Vancleave. She was born
May 17, 1931 in Pascagoula, Miss., and had been a lifelong resident of Jackson County. Mrs. Kimmerly was an avid gardener and owner of a nursery, and was a member of the Bonnie Chapel Methodist Church.
MARTIN
Mrs. Meadie B. Martin, 89, of Pascagoula, Miss., died Feb. 19, 2004, in Pascagoula. She was born
April 25, 1914 in Orange, Texas. Mrs. Martin was a homemaker and a lifelong member of Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church and a member of the Civitan Club. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Stella and Edward Bosarge; oldest son, George Edmund Martin Jr.; husband, George Edmund Martin Sr.; one brother; and four sisters.
TILLMAN
Mrs. Adele Howard Tillman, 70, of Pascagoula, Miss., died Feb. 19, 2004, at her residence. She was born
Jan. 28, 1934, in Livingston, Texas. Mrs. Tillman retired after 20 years as an Assistant Teacher at Arlington Elementary. She was working with the Pascagoula Adult Learning Center prior to her illness. Mrs. Tillman was a member of Unity Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Erma Howard and George Howard Sr.; and brothers, George Howard Jr. and W.B. Howard.
LOFTON
Agnes Nunnery Lofton, 90, of Gautier, Miss., died Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2004, in Singing River Hospital, Pascagoula, Miss. She was born
June 18, 1913, in Franklin County, Miss., and has been a resident of Gautier since 1966. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Gautier.

Mrs. Adele Howard Tillman, 70, of Pascagoula, Miss., died Feb. 19, 2004, at her residence.

Tamika S. Trotter of Pascagoula, Miss., was called to her heavenly home on Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2004.
CHARLES
Mrs. June Charles, 69, of Pascagoula, Miss., died Monday, Feb. 16, 2004, at Singing River Hospital. She was born
May 10, 1934 in Detroit, Mich. Mrs. Charles was employed as an accountant with Ingalls Shipbuilding. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Janina Lew.

Mr. Carl Richard "Ricky" Dixon, age 46, died Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2004, at Singing River Hospital, Pascagoula, Miss.
JACKSON
Virginia Ann Jackson, age 50, died Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2004, in Pascagoula, Miss. Mrs. Jackson was a life long resident of Jackson County. She was born
on April 7, 1953, in Pascagoula. She was a homemaker, loving wife and devoted mother. Mrs. Jackson was preceded in death by her parents, C. H and Willie Mae Evans.
KITCHENS
Mrs. Clara Berniece Kitchens departed this earth on Feb. 17, 2004. She was 85 years old. She was born
in Haleyville, Ala., in 1918.
KNOX
Mrs. Ella Mae Robinson Knox, 66, of Moss Point Miss., died Sunday, Feb. 15, 2004, at Singing River Hospital in Pascagoula Miss. Mrs. Knox was born
on Aug. 21, 1937, in Akron, Ala., and had been a resident of Moss Point for 46 years. She was a member of Solomon Temple AME Zion Church.
MOORE
Mr. Napoleon Moore, age 88, of Vancleave, Miss., died Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2004, in Vancleave. Mr. Moore was a lifelong resident of the community. He was preceded in death by his wife, Cornelia Moore; his parents, Lewis Moore and Lonia Moore; a daughter, Leola Moore; a son, Napoleon Moore Jr.; sisters, Celeste Ely, Edna Ely and Ruth Myers; and brothers, Andrew Moore and William Moore.
STEWART
Ms. Delia W. Stewart, 67, died Feb. 17, 2004, in Ocean Springs, Miss. Ms. Stewart was a native of Meridian, Miss., and was the owner, instructor of Delia Stewart's Dance Studio for 21 years on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. She retired from dance and moved to New York. Ms. Stewart was preceded in death by her parents, Julia Sauders Weddington and A.B. Weddington; her husband, Bennie Stewart; and her son, James Sauders Stewart.

Mr. R. J. Williams, 60, of Theodore, Ala., was born
June 3, 1943, in Cleveland, Miss. Mr. Williams died Monday, Feb. 16, 2004, in Biloxi, Miss.
PRINCE
Mr. Calvin "Cal" Dale Prince, age 59, of Ocean Springs, Miss., died Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2004, in Mobile, Ala. He was born
Feb. 28, 1944, in Robbinsdale, Minn. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was a Design Specialist at Northrop Grumman Ship Systems in Pascagoula, Miss., where he worked for over 29 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Vancleave. He was Logistics Coordinator for the American Cancer Society Relay for Life in Jackson County, Miss. He was an active board member of the Ingalls Management Association. He and his wife, Phyllis, are owners of The Transplant Florist in Moss Point, Miss. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Dale Franklin Prince and Opal Fern Prince, and a daughter, Christine Lois Prince.
WALDEN
Mrs. Estanie "Teenie" Barras Walden, age 90, of Ocean Springs, died Sunday, Feb. 15, 2004, in Ocean Springs. Mrs. Walden was a resident of the Latimer community and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, Odile and Alcide Barras, and her brothers and sisters, Cecile McKreth, Ezora Hebert, Drozen Barras, Evelyn "Frenchie" Barras and Sanders "Chic" Barras.
BARTON
Edwin Manchester Barton Jr., 71, died Friday, Feb. 13, 2004. Mr. Barton was born
Dec. 28, 1932, in Pascagoula, Miss., and had remained a lifelong resident. He was a U.S. Navy veteran serving during the Korean conflict aboard the USS Ronoake. He was a graduate of Our Lady of Victories Catholic School and a member of Our Lady of Victories Church. Mr. Barton had served as a fireman with the Pascagoula Fire Department and was a member of VFW Post 3373 and past senior vice commander. He was a member of the Military Order of the Cooties and a member of the Krewe of Niord having served as the grand marshal of the 1999 Jackson County Carnival Association Mardi Gras Parade. He enjoyed wood carving, boating, family and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Addie Smith Pittman, and stepfather, Dale A. Pittman.

Mr. Clodis Green, of Turcker St., Pascagoula, died Sunday, Feb. 15, 2004, in Hattiesburg, Miss.
