Mr. Charles "Bud" Adams Sr., 65, of Ocean Springs, Miss., died Sunday, June 15, 2003, at his residence.
Mr. Adams was retired U.S. Air Force and Civil Service with Keesler Air Force Base and was a avid fisherman.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Kaye Adams; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry H. Adams; and sister, Florence Patton.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Norma Jean Adams; daughter, Diane Arledge and husband Steve of Pace, Fla.; son, Donald Adams Jr. of Ocean Springs, Miss.; grandson, Robbie Adams, Ocean Springs, Miss.; great-grandson, Kyle Adams; two brothers, Mack Adams and Kenneth Adams of Meridian, Miss.; a number of nieces and nephews and friends; and a special friend, Marty Jones.
Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 17, 2003, with the funeral following at 11 a.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Epi Rodgiguez will officiate.

GIBSON
Mrs. Mildred Annette Gibson, 63, died June 14, 2003, at her home in Lucedale, Miss.
Mrs. Gibson was a native of Lucedale, Miss., and worked as a seamstress at Lucedale Sportswear, and a member of the Union Missionary Baptist Church of Lucedale, Miss.
Survivors include seven children, Terresa "Terri" (Frank) Morgan, Patricia Lynn (Randy) Duff, Mary Charlene (Mike) Furby, Frankie L. (Crystal) Gibson, Felicia (John Paul) Mergenscheroer, Thomas Shane Gibson and Kristy L. Sims; seven grandchildren; four sisters, Barbara Havard, Betty Briscoe, Martha (Guy) Middleton, Roberta "Bobbie" (Don) Morris; and two brothers, Robert "Buddy" (Laora) Varnadore and Roger Varnadore.
Visitation was held June 16, 2003, at Union Missionary Baptist Church in Lucedale, Miss.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. June 17, 2003, at Union Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Jimmy Long, the Rev. Mike Jemison and the Rev. Scotty Scott officiating.
Interment will follow in the Union Baptist Church cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Wiley Hinton, Sam McCarty, Jamie Brannan, Matt Varnadore, Brandon Varnadore, Keith Havard, Mike Furby and Matt Varnadore.

HALL
Mr. Michael Guy Hall, 48, of Escatawpa, Miss., died June 14, 2003, in Pascagoula. He was born icon June 10, 1955, in Mobile, Ala. Mr. Hall was employed with Ingalls Shipbuilding in the Sheet Metal Department.
He had served in the Marine Corps. and was a member of East Moss Point Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Ramon Guy Salter, and step-grandfather, E.H. McInnis.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Ouida S. and Hugh M. McInnis of Escatawpa; brothers and sisters-in-law, Geoffrey L. and Jane Hall of Moss Point, Harold W. and Tracy Hall of East Prairie, Mo.; stepbrother, Donald H. McInnis of Clinton, Tenn.; stepsisters, Terri Spiers of Gautier and Mickie Dunbar of Maryville, Ill.; nieces, Stacy and Shayna Hall of East Prairie, Mo., and Sarina Hall of Barstwo, Calif..; nephews, Seth Hall of East Prairie, Mo. and Wesley Hall of Escatawpa; grandmother, Delana R. Salter of Escatawpa; step-grandmother, Rosa Lee McInnis of Jackson, Ala.; uncle and aunt, Clarence, Sr. and Betty Sigrest of Escatawpa; cousins, Clarence Sigrest Jr. (Debbie, Christopher and Kaleigh) Richard Sigrest (Karen and Landon); and other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 18, at Holder-Wells Funeral Home in Moss Point, Miss.
The funeral will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Alva Ray McCorkle and the Rev. Jimmie Milam officiating.
Interment will be at Serene Memorial Gardens in Escatawpa, Miss.
Pallbearers will be Clarence Sigrest Jr., Richard Sigrest, Albert R. Duvall Jr., W.C. Waltman, Rod Mimbs and Larry Carpenter.
The family prefers donations be made to Gideons International.

GREGORY
W. Chuck Gregory died at his home in Pascagoula on Thursday, June 12, 2003, with the care and tender ministries of Southern Care Hospice. W. Chuck Gregory was born icon Oct. 28, 1933, in Scott County, Miss. He moved to Jackson County in 1949, and was a graduate of Moss Point High School.
At age 17, he joined the U.S. Navy and served 312 years before receiving his honorable discharge. Ingalls Shipbuilding then employed Chuck as a mechanical draftsman.
In the early '50s Chuck began his career as one of Jackson County's most successful entrepreneurs. Chuck's various enterprises included president of Chuck Gregory Realty, president of First Southern Savings & Loan, managing partner of the King's Inn Motel & Restaurant.
After a brief retirement in 1983, he and his wife, Lesa Gregory, then engaged in the owner-management of St. Andrews Golf Course. In 1991, Chuck designed and developed Southwind Country Club in D'Iberville. Chuck retired in 1998.
He is preceded in death by his father, T.J. Gregory; his mother, Nadine L. Gregory; sister, Gwendolyn Gregory; and brother, Maurice Gregory.
Chuck is survived by his wife and best friend of 23 years, Lesa Donohoe Gregory; two devoted daughters, Dawn Williams, Susan Gregory; four grandchildren, Sharon Williams, Brian Williams, Tristen Donald and Jaiden Gregory; four brothers, Ted (Evelyn) Gregory, Dodd Gregory, Thomas (Brenda) Gregory, Douglas Gregory; three sisters, Barbara (Tommy) Jackson, JoAnn (James) Hunt, Wanda (Jimmy) Ables; stepmother, Virginia Gregory; caring mother-in-law, Alma Donohoe; a host of nieces and nephews; and devoted friend, Lee Ann Countryman as well as many more friends of a lifetime.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, June 14, at O'Bryant-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Pascagoula, Miss.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 15, at O'Bryant-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Pascagoula with the Rev. Mike White and the Rev. James King officiating.
Interment will follow at Machpelah cemetery in Pascagoula.
Active Pallbearers will be Darryl Jackson, Scott Jackson, Tommy Jackson Jr., Joseph Gregory and Alan Young.
Honorary pallbearers will be Tommy Jackson Sr. and John Coggins.

GRIFFIN
Mrs. Lilla Mae Griffin, 86, passed away in Pensacola, Fla., on Tuesday, June 10, 2003. She was born icon August 23, 1916, in Coffeeville, Ala., one of a set of twins, to Clara and Archie Fendley.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 50 years, J. W. Griffin. Together they owned and operated a local business in Lucedale, Miss., for many years. A lifetime member of the First Baptist Church of Lucedale, she was loved and respected in the community. She was also preceded by five brothers and two sisters.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Ann and Jerry Strength of Pensacola; two grandsons and three great-grandchildren, Jason and Katie Strength, Zachary, Kelsey and Ashley of Pensacola, and Jody and Alisa Strength of Houston, Texas, awaiting the birth of their first child. She is also survived by her twin brother, W. R. Fendley of Knoxville, Tenn.; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 2 p.m. until 3 p.m., Sunday, June 15, at George County Funeral Home Chapel, Lucedale, Miss. Funeral services will follow at 3 p.m.

MISKEL
Mrs. Louella Rodgers-Miskel, 78, of Pascagoula, Miss., was born icon July 31, 1924, in McComb, Miss. Mrs. Miskel passed on for eternal life on Tuesday, June 10, 2003, in LaPlace, La.
She was a Missionary of the former St. Mary Church of God in Christ, as well as church mother, District Sunday School Field Representative, and was active in the community with City and County Officials.
Mrs. Miskel was preceded in death by her husband, Essie Miskel, a daughter, Deborah Morris and a son, Lionell Rodgers.
She leaves to cherish her memories five sons, Charles Earl (Barbara) Harris of Gulfport, Miss., Robert (Mary) Miskel, of Pascagoula, Miss., Essix (Geraldine) Miskel of Gautier, Miss., Roscoe (Dorthea) Miskel of LaPlace, La., and Milton (Valerie) Miskel of Hattiesburg, Miss.; three daughters, Sally (Lee) Smith of Mobile, Ala., Lucille (Lamont) Black of Denver, Colo., Kathy (Conrad) Kilpatrick of Mobile, Ala.; one brother, Charles (Jane) Rodgers; two sisters, Rosa Lee (Charles) Bell, Elnora (Rev. Sam) Quinn; brothers-in-law, Roscoe (Georgia) Miskel, of Fernwood, Miss., Theodore (Clementine) Miskel Chicago, Ill.; sisters-in-law, Annie Bell Miskel of Pontiac, Mich., and Eleanor Peters of Calif.; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be held from 12 noon until 2 p.m., Saturday, June 14, at The Greater Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Pascagoula.
Funeral Services will begin promptly at 2 p.m., from the church with Elder Kippy Paige, Officiating.
Interment will be in Scranton cemetery, Pascagoula.

SEAMAN
Barbara Lyons Seaman, 58, a lifelong resident of Pascagoula, Miss., died at her home on June 10, 2003, after a lengthy battle with cancer. She was born icon March 22, 1945, in Pascagoula.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Pascagoula, where she assisted with the Broken Wings Ministry. She retired in April, 2002, after 33 years service with Mississippi Power Company. She enjoyed many years of community service with the Alpha Gamma Chapter of ESA.
She was an avid golfer and gardener and enjoyed traveling with her husband.
Mrs. Seaman was preceded in death by her father and mother, Robert Earl and Eva E. (McDavid) Lyons; father-in-law and mother-in-law, J.D. (Jake) and Mary Nell Seaman.
Survivors include her loving and devoted husband of 39 years, Roland Thomas (Tommy) Seaman, son and daughter-in-law, Michael Thomas (Angela) Seaman, all of Pascagoula; brother and sister-in-law, Robert (Mac) McDavid and Kay Lyons, and sister, Elizabeth Carol Lyons, all of Dallas, Texas; devoted care givers, sister-in-law, Romella Seaman McNair and brother-in-law, Jim McNair, both of Pascagoula; brothers-in-law, Steve (Melanie) Seaman of Ocean Springs, Kim Michael Seaman of Pascagoula; granddaughter, Bethany Ann Seaman; and three step-grandchildren, Kayree, Brittany and Austin, all of Pascagoula; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Visitation will be Thursday, June 12th from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Holder-Wells Funeral Home in Moss Point.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday, June 13th at the First United Methodist Church in Pascagoula with the Rev. Gary Knight and the Rev. Earl Greenough officiating.
Friends may call one hour prior to service time.
Interment will follow at Machpelah cemetery in Pascagoula.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Emile, Dennis Freeman, Roger Williamson, Ken Robertson, Roland Walley and Joe McDavid.
The family prefers donations be made to the First United Methodist Church, 2710 Pascagoula Street, Pascagoula, Miss. 39567.

Mary Aude Hinton Seward. born icon November 24, 1916. A life-long resident of Tanner Williams, Miss., passed away on June 12, 2003. She was a member of Tanner Williams Holiness Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, A.L. and Annie Belle Hinton, and her husband of 60 years, Harry Seward.
Survivors include her children, Polly Seward, Harry K. "Bud" Seward and his wife, Rita and their children Steve (Susan) Seward and their children Megan and Andrew, Susie (Bill) Kelley and their children Kase and Koda; William D. "Bill" Seward and his wife, Jenny and their children, Dale (Mary) Seward and their children, Jacob and Kristin, Gene (Madonna) Seward and their children, Brandon and Carlee; Diana McDuffie and her husband, Jimmie and their children, Kyles (Amber) McDuffie and their child, Colter; Dennis McDuffie and Mary Ruth McDuffie; precious brothers, Hollis Hinton and A. L. Hinton, Jr.; loving sisters, Natlie (Carl) Grissett, Bea (J. B.) White, Mabel (C. E.) Johns and Asline (Arnold) Pierce; many well-loved nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Radney Funeral Home, Dauphin Street, Mobile, Ala.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 14, from Tanner Williams Holiness Church. Mrs. Seward will be taken to the church one hour prior to services.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Tanner Williams Holiness Church, 14801 Tanner Williams Road, Wilmer, Ala. 36587.
Interment will be in Joyner cemetery.
