BRELAND
Mr. Floyd Q. Breland, 74, of Moss Point, died Sunday, Feb.16, 2003 in Moss Point. He was born icon Jan. 30, 1929 in Leakesville, Miss. Mr. Breland was a United States Army veteran of WWII and the Korean War.
He was a member of Moss Point Presbyterian Church, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the American Legion in Pascagoula. Mr. Breland had worked in construction before his retirement. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and being outdoors.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Mr. Floyd S. and Mrs. Katie Breland.
Survivors include his wife, Eloise Chunn Breland of Moss Point; two daughters and a son in law, Eve &Michael Redd of Escatawpa, Miss., and Diane Jones of Moss Point; one sister and brother in law, Betty &Marvin "Dimp" McLeod of Leakesville; one brother and sister in law, Bob &Doris Breland of Lake Charles, Louisiana; two grandchildren, Andrew Adams and Katline Redd; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, Feb. 17, 2003 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Holder-Wells Funeral Home, Moss Point.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, Feb.18, 2003 at 11 a.m. from the funeral home chapel with Rev. Randy Kimbrough officiating. Interment will follow in Machpelah cemetery, Pascagoula. Arrangements by Holder-Wells Funeral Home, Moss Point.

GURLEY
Randy Gurley, Sr., 40, of Pascagoula, Miss., died Monday, July 14, 2002, in Pascagoula.
Randy was born icon on Feb. 10, 1962, in Fayette, Ala. He was a hard worker and traveled in construction. He was an avid reader. His favorite hobby was working on cars.
He was a generous person who loved the beach and loved to fish. Randy was extremely devoted to his mother, Hope Gurley, and his favorite words were "we're family".
He was preceded in death by his father, James T. Gurley, Sr.; and brother, Steven M. Gurley, Sr.; maternal grandparents, Adrian and Ros.
Survivors include his three sons, Randy Gurley, Jr., Casey James Gurley, and Matthew Ryan Gurley, all of Gautier, Miss.; his mother, Hope U. Gurley, Pascagoula; two sisters, Bonnie (Gary) Harwood, Lucedale, Miss., Judy (Glenn) Saucier, Escatawpa, Miss.; seven brothers, John (Sol) Gurley, Powder Springs, Ga., James Jr. (Kathy) Gurley, Pascagoula, Kenny (Robin) Gurley, San Diego, Calif., Richard (Sandy) Gurley, Panama City, Fla., Jeff (Brenda) Gurley, Pascagoula, Mike (Sheila) Gurley, Helena, Miss., Ernest Gurley, Pascagoula; special friend and mother of his three sons, Toni Gurley, Gautier, Miss.; and a host of aunts, uncles, 34 nieces and nephews, nine great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8:30 p.m., Wednesday, July 17, at Jackson County Funeral Services in Escatawpa.
Funeral service will be Thursday, July 18, at 10 a.m., at Jackson County Funeral Services Chapel in Escatawpa, with the Rev. Martin Britt officiating.
Interment will be in Jackson County Memorial Park, Pascagoula, Miss.

HUNTLEY
Thomas Edison Huntley, 77, of Pascagoula, Miss., has left this earth to be with his Heavenly Father on July 13, 2002, at Singing River Hospital, surrounded by his devoted wife and family. Mr. Huntley was born icon July 12, 1925, in Clarke County, Miss. He retired from Ingalls Shipbuilding after 42 years. He also was a Deputy Sheriff in Jackson County for several years. Thomas was a Charter member of Riverside Baptist Church in Pascagoula. He was also a 32nd Degree Mason with the Scottish Rites, and 419 A and M.
He was preceded in death by his father, James A. Huntley of Enterprise, Miss.; his mother, Collen Huntley Bert of Newton, Miss.; one brother, James A. Huntley of Texas; one sister, Helen Hall of McComb, Miss.; one daughter, Jo Vonice of Pascagoula; his in-laws, J. V. and Stella Bosarge of Pascagoula.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Lorraine Bosarge Huntley of Pascagoula; his son, Danny Huntley and a special God sent daughter-in-law, Sharon Huntley of Leakesville, Miss.; grandsons, Jeremy and Jeff Huntley of Pascagoula; step grandchildren, Chris McMillon of Vancleave, Mandy Franklin of Pascagoula; a sister, Nelda (Don) Moody of Moss Point; a brother, Chester (Lynda) Huntley of Mobile; and a beautiful great granddaughter named Mallie Marie Huntley; numerous other family and friends; and his beloved pet and faithful friend, Tramp.
Visitation will be Monday, July 15, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Holder-Wells Funeral Home in Moss Point.
Funeral service will be Tuesday, July 16, at 10 a.m., from the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Wilton Bennett and the Rev. Cecil Rice officiating.
Interment will be in Jackson County Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Jeremy Huntley, Jeff Huntley, David Futch, Curt Raybon, Chris McMillan, and Ricky Moorehead.

HURD
Sallie Bell Hurd, 77, of Pascagoula, Miss., departed this life on Friday, July 12, 2002, at Providence Hospital in Mobile, Ala., after a lengthy illness. She was one of Jehovah's Witnesses and service to God was a very important part of her life. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lillie B. Thornton; sister, Rosie Reed; three brothers, Cleveland Pate, Joe Martin, and W. Colvin; husband, Samuel Hurd, Sr.; two sons, Robert Martin, Sr. and Samuel Hurd, Jr.
Those mourning her loss include one brother, Jessie Thornton, Jr. of Jackson, Miss.; four sons, Jessie Lee (Lorraine) Martin of Biloxi, Miss., William Henry Martin of New Orleans, La., Willie James (Barbara) Martin of Tacoma, Wash., and Don Anthony (Janet) Hurd of Pascagoula, Miss.; four daughters, Rose Mary (Milton) Cullins of Pascagoula, Miss., Julia Ann Nutall of Pascagoula, Joyce Ann (Jerry) Johnson of Gautier, Miss., and Dorene Anita Hurd of Tacoma, Wash.; 20 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; special friends, Ola Mae Seals, Freda Cassella, and Ben and Wanda Seals; several nieces; one nephew; and numerous dear friends.
Viewing will be held Tuesday, July 16, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Millender's Funeral Home, Moss Point.
Memorial Services will be held 3 p.m., Wednesday, July 17, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses on 11th Street in Pascagoula.
The family has requested a private burial service.

GARTMAN
Mrs. Olga Fletcher Gartman, 84, a lifelong resident of Vancleave, Miss., passed away Friday. Aug. 16, 2002, in Moss Point, Miss. She was born icon in Vancleave, Miss., on July 21, 1918 to J.J. Fletcher and Phoebe Manning Fletcher. She was a member of The Eastern Star and a member of The United Methodist Church of Vancleave. She also was a retired bookkeeper.
Mrs. Gartman was preceded in death by her parents, J.J. Fletcher and Phoebe Manning Fletcher; four sisters and four brothers.
Survivors include numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, Aug. 19, 2002, from 10-11 a.m. at the O'Bryant-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Pascagoula, Miss.
Interment will be at the Red Hill cemetery in Vancleave.

DELMAS
Mrs. Loretta Agnes "Moey" Delmas, 90, of Pascagoula, died Saturday, Feb.15, 2003 in Pascagoula. She was born icon April 16, 1912 in Bluff Springs, Fla., and had been a resident of the Pascagoula area for many years. Mrs. Delmas was a member of Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George B. Sclease and Sally Sclease Dahlgren; her husband, Robert U. Delmas, Sr.; two sons, Robert U. Delmas, Jr., and Helaire E. Delmas; one sister, Mary Pol; one brother, G.B. Sclease; and a son in law, Robert Blythe.
Survivors include her daughter, Marie Blythe of Pascagoula, Miss.; son & daughter in law, Charles and Jeri Delmas of Buckatunna, Miss.; daughter and son in law, Mary & Bill Troutman of Melbourne, Fla.; 18 grandchildren: Linda Howard, Debbie Fleming, Donna Taylor, Gina Williams, Patricia Watson, Bobbie Williams, Tracy Dykes, Darlene Prewett, Darryl Delmas, Kenny Delmas, Anthony Hudson, Michael Delmas, Leslie Jones, Larry Delmas, David Troutman, Cheryl Bork, Brian Troutman, and Karen Pushman; 46 great grandchildren; 18 great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Monday, Feb. 17, 2003 from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. at Holder-Wells Funeral Home in Moss Point, Miss.
The funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home chapel with Fr. Gerard Cleary officiating.
Interment will be held in Machpelah cemetery, Pascagoula. Pallbearers will be Darryl Delmas, James "JJ" Crowley, Jr., Travis Taylor, Dwayne Vickers, Brett Watson, Jeremy Delmas, Anthony Hudson, and Michael Delmas.

KING
Mrs. Lena Mae Smith King, 85, of Moss Point, Miss., died Friday, Feb.14, 2003 in Moss Point.
She was born icon Oct. 7, 1917 in Leake County, Miss.
Mrs. King was a member of Miracle Temple Full Gospel Church of Big Point.
She is survived by her son and daughter in law, Marvin Smith and Jean King of Pascagoula, Miss.; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Dorothy Eldree King of Pascagoula, Miss., Lorraine & George Steen of Moss Point, Miss., and Kathy & Rev. Earl Raines of Escatawpa, Miss.; 14 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Sunday, Feb. 16, 2003, from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. at Holder-Wells Funeral Home, Moss Point, Miss.
Funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home chapel with Rev. Earl Raines officiating.
Interment will be held in Machpelah cemetery, Pascagoula, Miss.

LIPPIE
Lester N. Lippie, 80, died Friday, Feb. 14, 2003 in Wade, Miss. He was born icon Aug. 2, 1922, in Dubuque, Iowa. He was a resident of Jackson County, Miss., and a veteran of World War II. He worked for Ingalls Shipbuilding for 30 years and was a member of Metropolitan Masonic Lodge #49.
Survivors include his wife, Catherine Lippie, of Wade, Miss.; two sons and daughters-in-law, Mark (TBird) Lippie of Wade, Miss., Steve (Debbie) Lippie of Naples, Fla., and former wife Miriam Arnette, of Mobile, Ala.; one daughter and son-in-law, Debra (Ken) Hewett of Satsuma, Ala.; two step-sons and daughters-in-law, Joey (Linda) Davis of Lizana, Miss., Mike (Lori) Davis of Portland, Oregon; one sister, Jeanette Ratlerman, of Georgia; eight grandchildren, Brad Lippie, of Naples, Fla., Jamie Lippie, of Naples, Fla., Paul Hewett of Satsuma, Ala., Jon Hewett of Satsuma, Ala., Laurie Hewett of Satsuma, Ala., Chrystal (Pierre) Zohmer of Hurley, Miss., Cathy Lippie of Wade, Miss., Jared Lippie, of Wade, Miss.; nine step-grandchildren; two nieces, Nancy and Marcia Ratlerman, of Georgia. Numerous other relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 17, 2003, at Jackson County Funeral Services, Escatawpa, Miss.

GRAHAM
James M. "Buddy" Graham, 70, born icon October 19, 1932, in Escatawpa, Miss., died February 12, 2003, in Escatawpa, Miss.
He was a devoted husband and a loving father. He was a lifelong resident of Escatawpa, where he was a self-employed contractor.
He was a member of Escatawpa Baptist Church, where he served as Chairman of Deacons. He coached Church League Softball for more that 30 years. He was on the Board of Directors for the Home Of Grace. He was also a veteran of the Korean Conflict.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Effie Graham; sisters, Melva Walker and Winnie Greenough.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Shirley Graham of Escatawpa; daughter and son-in-law, Jan and Dennis Griffin, Ocean Springs, Miss., daughter and son-in-law, Gay and Terry Lewis, Big Point, Miss.; son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Becky Graham, Escatawpa; son and daughter-in-law, David and Michelle Graham, Escatawpa; daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Jeff Blackwell, Escatawpa; 13 grandchildren, Britany, Katie, Graham and Sarah Beth Griffin, Ocean Springs, Heather, Heath and Hunter Lewis, Big Point, Adam and Aaron Graham, Escatawpa, Abby and Alex Graham, Escatawpa, and Katherine and Natalie Blackwell, Escatawpa; four sisters, Grace DeAngelo, Marie Colvin, Dot Pierce and Gladys Grierson all of Escatawpa; numerous other, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation was held Thursday, February 13, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., at Jackson County Funeral Services in Escatawpa, Miss.
Funeral services will be Friday, Feb. 14, at 11 a.m., at Escatawpa Baptist Church with a one hour viewing prior to service with the Rev. Greg Johnston and the Rev. Earl Greenough officiating.
Serving as pallbearers will be the Deacons of the Escatawpa Baptist Church.
Honorary pallbearers will be the Escatawpa Baptist Church Men's Softball Team.
Burial will follow at Serene Memorial Gardens in Escatawpa, Miss.
In lieu of flowers family wishes donations to be made to the Home of Grace Building Fund or Escatawpa Baptist Church Mission Fund.
