MCLELLAND
Grace Garreau McLelland, 95, of Hattiesburg, Miss., died Wednesday, April 7, 2004 at Rolling Acres Nursing Home. She was a homemaker and a member of Parkway Heights United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Creed McLelland Jr.
WHITE
Coral Elizabeth Allan White, formerly of Laurel and Ocean Springs, Miss., died Tuesday, April 6, 2003 at Jackson-Madison County Hospital in Jackson, Tenn., following a brief illness. Mrs. White was born
in Jackson, Miss., on Sept. 25, 1918. She began her retail career with Sears, Roebuck and Co., in Laurel, Miss., and later transferred to the Pascagoula, Miss., store. She retired after the opening of the Gautier, Miss., store, completing 36 years with the company.

Dorothy Cothran Hill, 71, of Taylor, Texas, went to be with her Lord at her residence on Sunday, April 4, 2004.
MARTIN
Elizabeth (Betty) Jane Martin, nee Garcelon, left this earthly place to go to a far better place on April 6, 2004. Betty was born
on April 13, 1932 in Chicago, Ill., but considered herself a Southerner. She used to say she couldn't help where she was born. She was a "cradle" Roman Catholic and attended St. Angela Grammar School, and graduated from Oak Park River Forest (OPRF) High School in 1950. She moved to California where her mother had relocated and, while there, met George E. Martin Jr., known to most as "Hickory" or "Bubba" They would have been married
over 50 years had he lived. She went back to school and received her RN designation at age 54.
MCDONALD
Mr. Thomas Powell Mc-Donald, 41, a native of Pascagoula, Miss., and a resident of Arabi, La., died March 12, 2004, in Arabi. He graduated from Pascagoula High School, Class of 1981. He was the former owner of McDonald Motors in La. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Hugh McDonald Sr.
MELTON
Mrs. Geraldean "Jerie" Poole Melton, 60, of Gautier, Miss., died Sunday, April 4, 2004 in Biloxi, Miss. Mrs. Melton was a native of Virginia, and had been a Coast resident for the past 38 years. She was a homemaker and she was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Melton was loved and adored by her children and grandchildren. Mrs. Melton was preceded in death by her parents, Dred and Myrtle Poole.

SEYMOUR
Mr. Hugh Charles Seymour Jr., age 96, of Ocean Springs, Miss., died Monday, April 5, 2004, in Ocean Springs. Mr. Seymour was born
on Feb. 9, 1908. He was of the Catholic faith and was a lifelong resident of Jackson County. He served in the National Guard, was a member of the Boilermakers Union #693 of Pascagoula, and retired as a chipper from Ingalls Shipbuilding. He was an avid fisherman and was the 1976 King Fisherman of the Jaycee Fishing Rodeo in Ocean Springs, Freshwater Division.

Mrs. Joan Batia Ryan, 62, of Ocean Springs, Miss., died Friday, April 2, 2004, in Gulfport, Miss.

Ora Lee "Momma Mickey" Garraway was born
on Oct. 3, 1917, to Joe Gaddis and Dora Henderson Harper in Lauderdale County, Miss., and she departed this life on April 1, 2004. At an early age, "Mickey, " as she was affectionately called, accepted Christ as her personal Savior and was baptized at Poplar Springs Baptist Church in Savoy, Miss.
YOUNG
Lynne Grant Young, 71, of Pascagoula, Miss., died Wednesday, March 31, 2004, in Pascagoula. She was born
May 15, 1932, in New Orleans, La. and had been a long-time resident of Pascagoula. She graduated in 1950 from Pascagoula High School and moved to Houston, Texas in 1955. She returned and had been a resident of Pascagoula since 1987. She retired from PMP, Hancock Bank and was employed with banks in Houston. Lynne was a member of Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church in Pascagoula and was active in St. Vincent de Paul thrift store.
CROWE
James Bryant Crowe, 39, of Moss Point, Miss., died Thursday, April 1, 2004, in Pascagoula, Miss. Bryant was born
April 23, 1964, in Pascagoula. He was a truck driver for CFI of Joplin, Mo. He loved God and his two sons more than anything in the world. He was an avid NASCAR fan and followed his favorite driver, Jeff Gordon. He also loved music.
MAPLES
Bibb Maples, 73, of George Maples Road, Perkinston, Miss., passed away March 31, 2004. He was born
Feb. 4, 1931, in George County, Miss. Mr. Maples was a civil engineer Instructor at Keesler Air Force Base and a bee keeper. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Betty (Cooley) Maples.
VICE
Laurie Ann Vice, age 42, died Thursday, April 1, 2004, in Mobile, Ala. Mrs. Vice was a former resident of Jackson County, Miss. She was born
Sept. 6, 1961, in North Thumberland, Va. Mrs. Vice was a homemaker and was of the Church of Christ faith. She was preceded in death by her father, Harry Jones, and her husband, Jerry Alan Vice.

Mrs. Mary "Babo" McCorvey Dailey, 82, of Pascagoula, Miss., died March 26, 2004. Mrs. Dailey was born
Aug. 2, 1921 to the late Fin and Mary Simmons McCorvey. She was a resident of the Pas-Point area for more than 62 years.

Jeannette Theresa Daly, age 65, of Pensacola, Fla., passed away on Saturday, March 27, 2004, in her home.
DRIEGERT
Robert G. Driegert, was born
March 13, 1909 in New York City, New York and passed away March 24, 2004 in Dallas, Texas. Robert attended New York University. He worked as the Director of Financial Services for Merck, Inc. from 1946 until 1968. He was a member of Toastmasters and Woodmen of America. After retirement he participated in SBA SCORE program (Society of Retired Executives) and fulfilled assignments in Malaysia, Indonesia and Venezuela. Robert retired to Long Beach, Miss., where he was active in Long Beach Chamber of Commerce, Gulfport SBA and St. Matthews Lutheran Church. In 1991, he suffered a stroke and relocated to Dallas, Texas. He was preceded in death by his wife, Aino Watjus Driegert (1988); parents, Rudolph Driegert and Wilhelmina Kostbar Driegert; and sister, Pauline Schultz.
MEYERS
Mr. Henry Meyers, age 90, of Ocean Springs, Miss., died Tuesday, March 30, 2004, in Ocean Springs. Mr. Meyers was a lifelong resident of the community. He was the owner of Meyer's Auto Salvage in Vancleave for more than 50 years and did heavy equipment work for many years along the coast. He was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. Mr. Meyer was preceded in death by a son, Donald Henry Meyers, his parents, Odeus and Elvina Meyers, a sister, Ena Meyers Krause, two brothers, C.C. and Albert Meyers, and a great-granddaughter, Meghan Meyers.
TUCKER
Mr. John Calvin Tucker, 53 of Pascagoula, Miss., departed his life March 25, 2004 in Jackson, Miss. Mr. Tucker was born
July 7, 1950 in Crowville, La. He accepted Christ at an early age. He was employed for 20 years with TXI Industries in Houston, Texas, until his health failed.
