Isabelle V. Collins, 89, a lifelong resident of New Orleans, La., born icon Aug. 15, 1913, in New Orleans, died Sept. 29, 2002, in Pascagoula, Miss. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, and was a retired office employee. She was preceded in death by her husband, George L. Collins Sr.; sisters and brothers Marie Dittman, Gloria Uber, Geraldine Kiem, Arthur Roux, Cashen Roux, Ferdinand Roux, Earl Roux, Marcus Roux, and Marian Roux.

GRAVES
Mrs. Amy D. Bogan Graves, was born icon in Butler County, in Greenville, Ala., on October 28, 1926, to the late Mr. and Mrs. David and Clara Bogan. As a young woman, Amy moved to Bay Minette, Ala., where she united in holy matrimony with Percy Graves, Jr.

MARSH
Charles E. Marsh, passed away Sept. 29, 2002, in Pensacola, Fla. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers.

MURPHREE
Mr. William Henry Murphree, 82, a native of Mobile, Ala., and a former resident of Mobile, Ala., Galveston, Texas, Huntsville, Ala., Gautier, Miss., Fairhope, Ala., and a resident of Pascagoula, Miss., died on Monday, Sept. 30, 2002, at a local hospital. Mr. Murphree graduated from Murphy High School in 1937. His main interest was in the field of radio, in early years he worked at WALA, WKRG and WABB. His speciality was Broadcast Engineering, which started with a Ham Radio hobby. He was enlisted in the United States Navy for four years and then Missile Command "Civil Service" at Redstone Arsenal for 17 years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Grace Moore Murphree.

TANNER
Marie Pierce Tanner, 98, of Lucedale, Miss., born icon Feb. 15, 1904, in George County, Miss., passed away Sept. 29, 2002. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Tanner; son, Henry F. Tanner; one granddaughter, Linda Williams; one great grandson, Jamie Williams; one great great grandson, Shawn Christian.

FORD
Mr. Otice G. Ford, 89, a native of Ferriday, La., and a resident of Pascagoula, Miss., since 1942, died Sunday, Sept. 29, 2002, in Pascagoula, Miss. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Milton Ford; a sister, Mary Levy; and a brother-in-law, I.G. Levy.

GOFF
Robert G. Goff, 72, of Moss Point, Miss., died Saturday, September 28, 2002, at his home. He was born icon April 18, 1930, in Jackson County, Miss. Mr. Goff was a retired drilling supervisor with the state of Mississippi. He was a member of the Moose Lodge and an active member of Midway Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his brother, Carl Goff.

BRELAND
Eather Breland, 91, of Benndale, Miss., died Sept. 24, 2002.

LOCHRIDGE
Bobbie Boykin Lochridge, was born icon on Jan. 24, 1917, in Delta City, Miss., as one of 14 children of George Patrick and Isabel Schrader Boykin. She passed away at her home in Pascagoula, Miss., on Friday, Sept. 27, 2002, at the age of 85. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Polk Lochridge; two sisters, Miriam Skates and Nell Barlow; three brothers, Douglas Boykin, George Boykin and Carl Cooper Boykin.

COX
Lucille Foley Cox, 93, of Helena, Miss., born icon Oct. 3, 1908, in Vanwert, Ohio, died Sept. 26, 2002, in Moss Point, Miss. Mrs. Cox was married icon to Jesse Clark Cox on April 14, 1925. They had four daughters. She was a member of Helena Presbyterian Church. She loved the Lord and brought her girls up in church where they learned to serve Him. She had 16 grandchildren that she gave great, great memories to. They were always welcomed to come anytime and spend the night. She taught them all to play games and taught honesty and integrity in each game played. We will all miss her.

CVITANOVICH
Mary Ann Champagne Cvitanovich, 43, died Thursday, September 26, 2002, in Biloxi after a battle with cancer. She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends. She was born icon December 24, 1958, in Biloxi and grew up in Ocean Springs. A life long member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, she attended St. Alphonsus School, Sacred Heart Academy and graduated from Ocean Springs High School and attended Miss. Gulf Coast Junior College. Remembered for her love of the water, Mary Ann enjoyed five years of service with the Gulf Coast Research Lab (USM Department of Marine Sciences) and another five years with the Mississippi Department of Marine Resources before joining the Ohio Department of Natural Resources in Columbus, Ohio in September 2001. She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Mildred "Peachie" Noel Cvitanovich; grandparents, Henrietta Barovich Cvitanovich Savage and Charles E. Savage and Sadie and Herman "Buck" Noel; and niece Alicia Ann Allen; paternal grandfather Anthony Cvitanovich of New Orleans, LA.

MCCLAMROCH
Jane Smith Chennault McClamroch, 87, of Pascagoula, Miss., died Thursday, September 26, 2002, at her home. She was born icon May 15, 1915, in Attala County, Miss. Mrs. McClamroch worked with the Pascagoula-Moss Point Bank, Brumfield's Department Store, Halter Marine, and later retired from Ingalls Shipbuilding. She was a longtime member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, and was of the Methodist faith. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Oma and Edna Chennault; two brothers, Patrick Chennault, and Kenneth Chennault, two sisters, Maud Cruce, and Lois Clark, and a son-in-law, Joseph Holifield.

WILLIAMS
Jerry Eugene Williams, 55, of Pascagoula, Miss., died Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2002, in Pascagoula. He was born icon on Feb. 21, 1947, in Pascagoula, and was a resident for the past 21 years. Mr. Williams was a barber and of the Baptist faith. He was an avid gun collector. He also served in the United States Marine Corps and the United States Army. He was a loving husband and father.

DELOACH
James Fletcher DeLoach, 21, of Moss Point, Miss., treasured son of James Harold DeLoach, Jr. and the late Dorothy Ann Pugh DeLoach, departed this earth on Sept. 24, 2002, at his home.

FUNCHES
Mr. L.T. Funches, 50, was born icon Dec. 24, 1951, in Utica, Miss. He was called for eternal rest on Sept. 24, 2002, at Singing River Hospital. He was employed at Ingalls for 28 years, and he was also an umpire for the Pascagoula and Moss Point area.

GRAY
Mary Earline Gray, age 69, died Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2002, in Moss Point, Miss. She was born icon April 24, 1931, in Neshoba Co., Miss.

IRVING
Dr. Thomas Irving, 87, born icon July 20, 1914, in Ontario, Canada, died Sept. 24, 2002, in Pascagoula, Miss. He was a retired Professor Emeritus, served with the Royal Canadian Navy, was a scholar and author of many books, including his masterpiece the first American version of the Quran.

WILLIAMS
Elizabeth Anderson Williams was born icon in Hazlehurst, Miss., on Aug. 3, 1908, to the union of the late Robert Anderson Sr., and Annie (Porter) Anderson. She departed life on Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2002, at Singing River Hospital.

ALFONSO
Joseph Decidue Alfonso, 85, died Monday, Sept. 23, 2002, in Gulfport, Miss. He was born icon Dec. 4, 1916, in Gulfport. He was a life long member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. He graduated from Gulfport High School in 1935. Mr. Alfonso served 28 years in the military, including the Korean War and World War II where he attained the rank of Captain. After World War II, he continued military service in the National Guard.

DUNCAN
Dorothy A. Duncan, 69, of Troy, Ala., died Monday, Sept. 23, 2002, at her residence. She was preceded in death by two sons, George Randy Duncan, Terry Carl Duncan; her husband, Robert Duncan; and her father, George Snow, Sr.

JENKINS
Mary Ann Jenkins, 48, of Moss Point, Miss., departed her life on Sunday, Sept. 22, 2002.

MONROE
Mr. John T. Monroe Sr., 91, died Sept. 24, 2002, at George County Hospital. Mr. Monroe Sr. was a native of Carriere, Miss., a resident of 1286 Depot Road, Lucedale, Miss. 39452, a County Supervisor with the Farmers Home Administration, and a member of the First Baptist Church where he was a life deacon. He was preceded in death by three daughters, Gailya Chance, Ridgeland, Miss., Barbara Moore, Cleveland, Miss., and Janice Pressley, Jonesboro, Ga.

WESTERN
Harrison Western, 68, of Pascagoula, Miss., born icon Feb. 12, 1934, in Decatur, Tenn., died Sept. 18, 2002 in Jacksonville, Ark. Mr. Western was an Agriculture-Farmer and a member of Lambrook Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, W. G. Western and mother, Rebecca Western; and one son, Terry Western.

LOPEZ
Mrs. Emma (Sister) Lopez, 94, of Escatawpa, Miss., died at the Plaza Nursing Center in Pascagoula, Miss., on Fri, Dec. 13, 2002. She was born icon Oct. 18, 1908, in Escatawpa where she lived all of her life. She was a homemaker and member of Escatawpa Baptist Church.

PRICE
Mr. Vander Price, 70, a lifelong resident of Prentiss, Miss., died Thursday, Dec. 12, 2002, in Moss Point, Miss. Mr. Price was the son of the late Smith Price and Ethel Price Keys.
