QUINN
Tommy Dan Quinn, 66, of Ocean Springs, Miss., died Thursday, April 4, 2002, in Gulfport, Miss. Mr. Quinn was a native of Texas and had been an Ocean Springs resident for the past 42 years. He was office manager for the Bureau of Marine Resources where he retired after 30 years of service. He was a Master Mason with McLeod Lodge #424 in Ocean Springs. He was a four year veteran of the U.S.A.F., where he served in Japan and Korea as a radio operator. Mr. Quinn was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Ocean Springs. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Mary LaVelle Quinn; and brother, Clarence Gerald Quinn. Survivors include his wife, Janice Ruth Latil Quinn of Ocean Springs; two sons, Jeff Quinn of Lawley, Ala., John "Tim" Quinn of Ocean Springs; and six grandchildren.

SEAWRIGHT
Mr. Roderick Andrea Seawright, of Hattiesburg, Miss., was born icon in Moss Point, Miss., on Nov. 27, 1962, to the late Mr. Norman H. Seawright Sr., and Ms. Annie Laura Seawright of Moss Point. God called Andrea Home to Glory on Saturday, March 30, 2002. Andrea graduated from Moss Point High School in 1980. He was lettered in basketball, track, and was a member of the Madrigals Singing Group. He also graduated Cum Lauda from Jones County Junior College, Ellisville, Miss., in computer technology. He was employed with Antonelli College of Hattiesburg, where he taught computer classes. Andrea accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior at an early age, and was a member of First Missionary Baptist Church until he relocated. When he relocated to Hattiesburg, Miss., he became a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church of Hattiesburg. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Rev. Isaac and Mrs. Norma Betts, his paternal grandparents, Mr. Isham and Mrs. Sarah L. Seawright, a nephew, Kenneth "Mookie" Safford, and his mother-in-law, Mrs. Mary Alice Jackson.

TAYLOR
Alice Roberta Taylor, 86, passed away Monday, April 1, 2002, in Pascagoula, Miss. She was born icon to the late Charles (Charlie) Hurst, Sr., and Mattie Hurst of Pascagoula, Miss.

FLURRY
Bracey Nell Groome Flurry, 78, of Moss Point, Miss., died April 1, 2002, at her residence. She was born, June 26, 1923, in Vicksburg, Miss., to George and Ruby Fitler. She was of the Catholic faith and was a member of Our Lady of Victories Church of Pascagoula. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Spencer Hudson Groome, and then James Lewis Flurry; her sister, Dorothy; step fathers, Virgil Dewberry, Charlie May and George Rodriguez; and devoted friend, A.V. "Paw" Cheeks. She worked for a number of years for Krebs Ferrer Motor Company in Pascagoula and also Bell Auto Parts. Known to many as "Mrs. Bracey" she was the owner of the Bargain Center in Pascagoula for many years. Survivors include, her two sons and a daughter-in-law, Gene and Debbie Groome of Vancleave, Miss., and James Walter (Jimmy) Flurry of Moss Point, Miss.; five daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia and Tim Williams of Citronelle, Ala., Chelsea Flurry of Moss Point, Christine and Kent Poole of Pascagoula, Margie and Billy Miller of Moss Point, and Bracey White of Moss Point; three sisters, Billie Jean Robinson of Richland, Miss., and Beth Boles of Vicksburg, and Clara Ishee of West Helena, Ark., 11 grandchildren, Timothy Williams, Erica Mosely, Laurel Johnson, Lance and Chad Borries, Dallas Harper, Jennifer White, Angela and Joey Miller, Brice and Brandon Poole, three very devoted friends, Dorothy Mott, Dotty Rawls and Pamela Cheeks; a host of nieces, nephews and many friends from a lifetime of giving in the community.

HAROLD COOLEY, 73, of Leakesville, Miss., died April 2, 2002. Freeman Funeral Home, Leakesville, Miss. EDWIN NOBLE McKNIGHT, 81, of Lucedale, Miss., died April 3, 2002. Sigler Funeral Home, Lucedale, Miss.

RUBY ISRAEL, 78, of Three Rivers, Miss., died, Monday, April 1, 2002 in Three Rivers. Arrangements incomplete by O'Bryant-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Pascagoula, Miss. ADAM HARRELL, 20, of Lucedale, Miss., died Sunday, March 31, 2002, in George County, Miss. Arrangements incomplete, George County Funeral Home, Lucedale.

JONES
Yvonne Jane' Jones, 90, of Pascagoula, Miss., died Monday, April 1, 2002, in Pascagoula. She was born, July 11, 1911, in Pascagoula and had been a lifelong resident. She was of the Catholic faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Merley H. Jones, her parents, Edmund J. Jane' and Frances Frederic Jane', two brothers, Edmund J. Jane', Jr. and Pedro R. Jane' and two sisters, Elsie Jane' Walker and Doris Jane' Aiken.

MAJKOWSKI
Vincent Majkowski, Colonel (retired), US Air Force and former Public Utilities Commissioner for the State of Colorado, passed away at home in his Woodmoor residence in Monument Thursday, March 28, 2002, at the age of 58. A wake will be held Tuesday evening at 7 p.m. at St. Peter's Catholic Church, 55 N. Jefferson St., Monument, Colo. 80132. The Memorial Service will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m., also at St. Peter's. His graveside burial service will be performed at Ramsay cemetery on cemetery Road and Hwy 57, Vancleave, MS 39565 on Friday, April 5th at 10 a.m.

WELLS
Horace "Lee Jr." Wells born icon Jan, 14, 1931, went to rest with the Lord on March 29, 2002, at Providence Hospital. He was a lifelong resident of Three Rivers and a member of Davis Chapel United Methodist Church. He served on the Trustee Board, Finance Committee, and was a member of the United Methodist Men. He was an active member of Valor Lodge #271. He was a retired longshoreman of Local 1752 and veteran of the United States Army.

SEAWRIGHT
MR. RODERICK SEAWRIGHT, 39, of Hattiesburg, Miss., died March 30, 2002 in Moss Point, Miss. Arrangements incomplete by Millender's Funeral Home, Moss Point, Miss.

BARIA
Mr. John Robert (Bobby) Baria, 64, of Escatawpa, Miss., was born icon Aug. 25, 1937, in Escatawpa, Miss., and lived most of his life there. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilson and Willie Lois Baria. Bobbie attended Escatawpa Elementary, Moss Point High, Perkinston Junior College and The University of Southern Mississippi.

JACKSON
Jessie (Mickey) Jackson died at his home in Grand Bay, Ala., on Friday, March 29, 2002. Mr Jackson was a retiree of Ingalls Shipbuilding and a member of Masonic Lodge #767. He is preceded in death by his wife, Patsy V. Jackson; parents Horace G. and Sarah Findley Jackson; brothers Howard Jackson and Clinton Jackson; sisters Josephine Taylor, Lula Taylor, Thelma Jordan and Myrtis Schliesser.

Lizzie Deen Miller, 83, of Helena, Miss., born icon Jan. 12, 1919, in Sumrall, Miss., died March 29, 2002, in Pascagoula, Miss. She was a homemaker, a member of Escatawpa Baptist Church and the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy W. Miller; father, Thomas Griffin Deen; mother, Mary Jewel Guy; children, Thomas J. Miller, Talmadge Miller; grandchildren, Tandra Miller, Jeff Miller, Terrell Ray Miller Jr.; brothers and sisters, Dan Deen, Susie Jewel Mayes, J. T. Deen, Estis Deen, Laura Jane Gilbert, Dexter Deen, Griffin Deen, Edivee Miller and Edwin Lott. Survivors include her children, Terrell Miller of Columbia, Miss., Joseph (Sharon) Miller of Huntsville, Ala., Roy D. (Jacque) Miller of Abingdon, Md., Avigail Miller of Helena, Miss., Annette Miller of Latimer, Miss., Clara (Bobby) Sanford of Helena, Robert (Janie) Miller of Ocean Springs, Miss.; grandchildren, Tommy Eckert, Glen Miller, Jamie Miller, Terry Miller, Lori (James) Qualls, Tammie Miller, Darlene Miller, Melodie Miller, Jennifer Miller, Michael (Andrea) Miller, Kristie Miller, Brian Miller, Stephanie (Billy) Bellande, Frankie Munoz, Michelle Sanford, Kristi Sanford, Robin Firmin, William (Bob) Miller, Ramanda (Howard) Hutto; 13 great grandchildren; brother and sister, James (Red) Deen and Freida Aultman; other friends and relatives.

Cecel Dolive McDonald, 83, died Saturday, March 30, 2002, in Moss Point, Miss. Ms. McDonald was a resident of Pascagoula, Miss. Ms. McDonald was a member of the Bethel Assembly of God Church in Pascagoula, Miss.

HORACE M. WELLS JR., 71, of Three Rivers Community, died Friday, March 29, 2002. Arrangements by Turner's Gulf Funeral Services, Pascagoula, Miss.

WILSON
Edmund Allenby Wilson, 92, born icon Sept. 16, 1909, died at his residence in Pascagoula, Miss., on March 29, 2002. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Evelyn Ann Wilson, and is survived by his wife, Emma Ross Vinson Wilson. He was a retired lawyer and served as municipal judge of Pascagoula for approximately 28 years and was very partial to the Pascagoula Police Department.

Edith Lavern Hancock Holder, 80, of Vancleave, Miss., died March 28, 2002, in Vancleave. Mrs. Holder was born icon Oct. 6, 1921, in Jones County, Miss. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Vancleave. She was a homemaker and housewife. Mrs. Holder was preceded in death by her parents, Elisha and Maggie Hancock; her husband, C. L. Holder; sister, Bernice Shows; brother, E. L. Hancock; and one grandson, Wayne Holder. Her survivors include four daughters and sons-in-law, all of Vancleave, Dolly Dimple and Bob Smith, Madie Bell and Howard Cazzell, Willmer Jean and Dana Smith and Candis and Don Naquin; six sons and their wives, E. M. Holder of Vancleave, John Willie and Cynthia Holder of Vancleave, Harry and Elaine Holder, of Vancleave, Joseph and Lillie Holder of Vancleave, Jerry and Becky Holder of E. Helena, Mont., Wendell and Gwen Holder, of Saucier, Miss.; three sisters, Dorothy Warwick, Maggie Morgan and Jeanette Hancock; 27 grandchildren; and 38 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

LOMAX
Mary Alice Plant Lomax, 82, of Gautier, Miss., died Thursday, March 28, 2002, in Ocean Springs, Miss. She was born icon July 11, 1919, in Rowan County, N.C. Mrs. Lomax was a retired substitute school teacher from the Pascagoula school system and a member of First Baptist Church of Gautier. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. Charles G. and Mrs. Lillie Cauble Plant, her husband, Mr. James Iben Lomax, Jr., and a brother, Mr. Charles G. Plant, Jr. Mrs. Lomax is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Chris (Sam) Lomax Roe of Gautier, son, Jack Dale Lomax of Reddington Shores, Fla., four grandchildren, Marty McGrath, Cindy McGrath Watson, Melissa Lomax, and Bobby Wilks, and three great-grandchildren.

Kathryn Pollard Price, 91, of Gautier, Miss., died Friday, Aug. 16, 2002, in Ocean Springs, Miss. She was born icon February 27, 1911 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Mrs. Price was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Pascagoula, Miss., for the past 56 years, and was past president of the P.E.O., a nondenominational Christian organization.

WALLEY
Mrs. Emma Stinson Walley, 94, of Ocean Springs, Miss., passed away Thursday, Aug. 15, 2002 at her home. She was born icon June 11, 1908 in Clara, Miss. Mrs. Walley was retired from the Cinderella Knitting Mill and was a longtime member of Jackson Avenue Baptist Church in Pascagoula, Miss.
