NATCHEZ - Graveside services for Charles W. Gaddis, 65, of Picayune, who died Saturday, Aug. 14, 2004, at Glenburney Nursing Center, will be at 3 p.m. today at Pinegrove Baptist Church cemetery in Catahoula Parish, La., under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Mr. Gaddis was born
Nov. 13, 1938, in Catahoula Parish, the son of D. Wilkinson and Delphia Breithaupt. He was a Baptist.
Survivors include his mother, Delphia Breithaupt of Ohio; a brother, Ken Gaddis of Ohio; and a number of cousins.
Ernest L. "Pop" Wilkinson
MEADVILLE -- Services for Ernest L. "Pop" Wilkinson, 72, who died Friday, Aug. 8, 2004, at Franklin Memorial Hospital in Meadville, will be today at 2 p.m. at Meadville Methodist Church.
Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel cemetery in Franklin County under the direction of Franklin Funeral Home.
Mr. Wilkinson was retired from the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Postal Service.
Rosa Griffin
Nov. 23, 1912 -- Aug. 10, 2004
WOODVILLE -- Services for Rosa Griffin, 91, who died Tuesday, Aug. 10, 2004, at Riverland Medical Center in Ferriday, La., will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Kingsford Baptist Church with the Rev. Allen Scott and Rev. Robert Sullivan officiating.
Burial will follow in Prater cemetery in Woodville.
Mrs. Griffin was born
Nov. 23, 1912 in Woodville the daughter of Robert and Lilla McFarland.
She was a homemaker and attended Magnolia Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Tom Griffin; two sons, Robert and wife Nell Ward and Dan Ward of Woodville; four daughters, Beulah Veals of San Francisco, Calif., Bessie Dennis of Woodville, Mildred Goodin of Natchez and Lillian and husband Felton Holiday of Baton Rouge and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Lucille O. Caston
BUNKLEY - Services for Lucille O. Caston, of Bunkley Community, who died Friday, Aug. 13, 2004, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at 1:00 p.m., today at Mt. Siniai Baptist Church.
Burial will be in the Bunkley cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
Visitation is from 11:00 a.m. until service time today at the church.
Ms. Caston was the daughter of the late Thomas and Elizabeth Ousley.
Joseph Anthony White

PENSACOLA, Fla. - Services for Joseph Anthony "Nickey" White, 52, of Pensacola, who died Friday, Aug. 6, 2004, in Pensacola, will be at 10 a.m. today in Pensacola.
Burial will follow under the direction of Trahan Mortuary.
Mr. White was born
Feb. 19, 1952, in Natchez, the son of the late Tyree and Lena Brady.
He graduated from Jefferson County High School.
Mr. White was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Jacqueline Frye and Mary West; one brother, James Brady.
Survivors include four brothers, Dwight (Valerie) Douglas, Tommy Brady, George Whitley of Natchez and James White of Los Angeles, Calif.; four sisters, Linda (Frank Woods) White, Wanda (Johnny) Jones, Patricia Sims of Natchez and Elaine White of Shreveport, La.
Pallbearers will be friends and family.

FAYETTE - Service for Joseph "Pee-Wee" Hellom and Alice O'Quinn Hellom, both of Fayette, who died Saturday, Aug. 7, 2004 at their residence, will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Jefferson County High School Auditorium with the Rev. Bernell Newsom officiating.
Burial will be in the Hickory Block cemetery, Union Church, under the direction of Rollins Funeral Home.
Visitation is from 12:00 noon to 7:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Mr. Hellom was born
May 30, 1958 in Adams County, the son of Susie Mae Woods and the late Joseph Hellom, Sr.
Mrs. Hellom was born
Dec. 18, 1965 in Jefferson County, the daughter of Essie Mae Barnes and Edward Good.
Joseph and Alice were both eduated in the Jefferson County Public School System.
Joseph and Alice were both members of Hickory Block United Methodist Church.
Cherishing the memories of Joseph and Alice are two daughters, Tiffany and LaTesha Hellom; one son, Justin Hellom, all of Union Church.
Joseph was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Hellom, Sr., two grandmothers, Leola James and Margaret Snyder, and an aunt, India Felton.
Joseph leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Susie Woods of Houston, Texas; three sisters, Mary Louise Hellom of Houston, Texas, Tina (Bobby) Broome of Utica, and Sarah Hellom of Chicago, Ill; one brother, Will T. Hellom, Jr. of Chicago, Ill; a special niece, Tiawanna Broome of Utica; two uncles, Bobby and Robert Hellom both of Chicago, Ill.; two stepsisters, Danita Thomas and Phyllis Fields both of Houston, Texas.
Alice was preceded in death by one sister, Barbara A. O'Quinn; one nephew, Terrance M. Brown, Jr.; grandparents, Bubba and Annie Barnes, Sr., and one uncle, A.C. Barnes.
Alice leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Essie Barnes of Union Church; her father and stepmother, Edward and L.T. Good of Natchez; five brothers, Clarence O'Quinn and Bobby O'Quinn both of Union Church, Charles Cleveland and Larry Good both of Natchez; seven sisters, Kathie J. O'Quinn, Angela D. O'Quinn and Tammy J. Barnes all of Union Church, Betty (Buddy) Gooden, Bessie (Rick) Gaines, Virginia (William) Payne, and Frances Bates all of Natchez; three uncles, Bubba Barnes, Jr. of Pattison, J.D. Barnes of New Orleans, La, and M.L. (Lillie V.) Burial will be in the church cemetery under the direction of Williams and Williams Funeral Home.
Ms. Hampton was born
Oct. 28, 1919, the daughter of the late Robert Wilson and Sarah Posey.
She was a former employee of the Joan of Arc Cannery in St. Francisville, La.
She was a Baptist and a member of St. John Baptist Church in Woodville. She was a member of the Sisters Club of Wilkinson County.
Survivors include her husband, George Hampton; two daughters, Minister Ann Conner and Mrs. Erma Hampton, both of Chicago, Ill.; eight sons, George Hampton, Jr., Leroy Hampton, Claudell Hampton, Lionell Hampton and Calvin Hampton, all of Chicago, Ill., Roosevelt Hampton and Robert Hampton, both of New Orleans, La., L. C. Hampton of Centreville; one sister, Mrs. Estell Wilson of Baton Rouge, La.; one brother, Sims Wilson of Woodville; 26 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

Barbara Ann Johnson Strauder

NATCHEZ - Services for Barbara Ann Johnson Strauder, 54, of Natchez, who died Saturday, Aug. 7, 2004, in Natchez, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Clarmount Baptist Church with the Rev. Leroy White officiating.
Burial will follow at Pinehill Memorial cemetery under the direction of Webb Funeral System.
The procession will leave at 10:30 a.m. Saturday from Marblestone.
Visitation is from 3 to 8 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Ms. Strauder was born
April 11, 1950, in Natchez, the daughter of Dorothy and Pero Johnson Jr.
She was a 1968 graduate of Sadie V. Thompson and was an administrative secretary at Wal-Mart. She was a Baptist, worked faithfully with Clarmount Baptist Church Youth Department and was founder and director of the Natchez Jajarettes.
Ms. Strauder was preceded in death by her grandparents.
Survivors include her parents; two sons, John C. (Demetris) Johnson and Cornelius J. Johnson; two daughters, Jonterial T. Johnson and Kiara S. Johnson, all of Natchez; three brothers, Joseph W. (Willie Mae) Johnson of Natchez, Glenn H. (Carolyn) Watson of El Cajon, Calif. and Timothy E. Ward of Cottonport, La.; three sisters, Dorothy J. Carter, Jeannie (Willie) Jones and Benita F. Watson, all of Natchez; grandmother, Annie L. Johnson of Natchez; eight uncles, Joseph W. (Albert Lee) Brown of Jackson, Willie A. Johnson Sr., Percy Johnson Sr., Pero E. Davis, Clarence Davis, James Davis, Phillip L. NATCHEZ - Services for Ceola Virginia "Regina" Hawkins, 47, of Natchez, who died Sunday, Aug. 8, 2004, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Antioch Baptist Church with the Rev. Robert L. Minor officiating.
Burial will follow at Skinner's cemetery under the direction of R.D. Mackel and Son.
Visitation is from noon to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Ms. Hawkins was born
April 21, 1957, the daughter of Isabell Hawkins and Tommy York.
She was a member of the Class of 1975, was a certified Nurses Aide and was a Baptist.
Survivors include one daughter, Shantae Hawkins (Quayland) Lavine of Concord, N.C.; one granddaughter, Shayland Laneya Lavine ofConcord; three sisters, Beverly (Frank) Woods of Natchez, Rose Hawkins of Chicago, Ill. and Rosie Lee York of Natchez; one brother, Tommy York Jr.
Damatia "Hattie" Powers-White
FAYETTE - Services for Damatia "Hattie" Powers-White, 39, of Fayette, who died Friday, Aug. 6, 2004 at River Regional Medical Center in Vicksburg, will be at 2:00 p.m., Aug. 14, 2004, at the Green Leaf Baptist Church in Fayette with the Rev. Percy Turner officiating.
Burial will be in the church cemetery under the direction of Spencer Funeral Home.

Dec. 11, 1964, in Harriston, the daughter of Ninie Power Jackson and Henry Whitfield Jackson.
She was a graduate of Jefferson County High School class of 1982 and a graduate of Utica Junior College.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hilliary L. White, II; mother, Ninie Powers Jackson; father, Henry "Curt" Jackson; two brothers, Aaron "JoJo" Burgman and Henry Jackson, Jr.
Survivors include two daughters, Ninetta White and LouSheka White both of Harriston; one son, Hilliary White, III of Harriston; a special friend, Ralphael Mims; three sisters, Dejohnetten Eakins (Gregory, Sr.) of Harriston, Gladys Washington (Samuel) of Natchez, and Shield Jackson of Vicksburg; eight brothers, Willie B. Powers (Elaine), Roger Powers (Nancy), Ray Powers (Theresa) all of Vicksburg, Chris Powers (Juanita) of Seale, Ala., Michael Powers (Tammy) of Delta Junction, Alaska, Ocie Jackson and Larry Jackson (Katherine) of Fayette and Michael Jackson of Dallas, Texas.
