NATCHEZ - Services for Mary Bell Ferguson, 62, of Natchez, who died Monday, Oct. 27, 2003, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at New Zion Baptist Church with the Rev. Ernest Ford, Jr. officiating.
Burial will be in Cedar Rest cemetery under the direction of George F. West Funeral Home.
Visitation is from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Mrs. Ferguson was born
Jan. 7, 1941, in Wilkinson County, the daughter of Alex Bell, Sr. and Mattie Jones Bell.
She was a retired waitress from Ramada Inn, a member and usher at New Zion Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, Raymond Bell of Natchez; two sisters, Rosa Lee Thicklen of Milwaukee, WI and Doretha Duncan of Baton Rouge, LA; four brothers, Bennie Bell of Dallas, TX, Milo Bell of Natchez, Gable Bell of Jackson and Alex Bell, Jr. of Baton Rouge; three grandchildren; one god child, Nicole Washington; two aunts, Mary Jones of Woodville and May Frances Jones of New Orleans, LA; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Roy Anderson, Leon Wesley, Willie Washington, Frank Conner, Fred Marshall and Edward Arbuthnot.
Myrtis Mae Passons

NATCHEZ - Services for Myrtis Mae Passons, 79, of Natchez, who died Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2003, at her residence, will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Highland Baptist Church with the Rev. David McGuffee officiating.
Committal and burial services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Mobile Memorial Gardens in Mobile, AL.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Laird Funeral Home Union Street Chapel and from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Mrs. Passons was born
Nov. 18, 1923, in D'Lo, the daughter of Luther Forrest and Mary Francis Fails Harper.
She was a member of Highland Baptist Church.
Mrs. Passons was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Walter Doty Passons; twin brother, Curtis Harper; brothers, Bradford Harper and Leonard Harper; sisters, Louise Moses and Tiny Ruth Russell; granddaughter, Denise Passons.
Survivors include son, Michael Passons and daughter-in-law, Terry Passons of Natchez; granddaughters, Claudia Lorene Passons of Bend, OR and Amelia Hughes of Montevallo, AL; sisters, Irene Bedenbender and Fay Nell Barnes of Oak Grove, LA, Mildred McDaniel of Florida, Ellee Finch of Oklahoma and Alene Ward of Florida; brothers, Leo Harper of Kilbourne, LA, Burnette Harper of Oak Grove, Emmett Harper of Florida and John Robert Harper of Georgia; and a number of in-laws, nieces, nephews and great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be J.C. Price, Leon Breland, Eddie Freeman, Michael Passons, Sam Ferry, Jr. and Ronald Bedenbender.
Honorary pallbearers will be Burnette Harper, Snooks Bedenbender, Tootie Barnes, Leo Harper and Vince Von Eberstein.

STANTON - Services for Sam Woods, 89, of Natchez, who died Sunday, Oct. 26, 2003, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at noon Saturday at Greater St. Mark Baptist Church in Stanton with the Rev. Maurice Irving officiating.
Burial will be in the church cemetery under the direction of Webb Funeral System.
Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 11 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Mr. Woods was born
Sept. 2, 1914, the son of Violet Thomas and James Thomas.
He was a retired logger and sawmill worker and a Baptist.
Mr. Woods was preceded in death by his mother, Violet Thomas; his father, James Woods; a sister, Cleo Payne; a daughter, Annie Mae White.
Survivors include his wife, Flotie Thompson Woods of Natchez; three sons, Robert Woods and Samuel Woods of Natchez and T.J. Woods of Chicago, IL.; one daughter, Barbara Tenner of Natchez; 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Sammy Gaines, Curtis Minor, Danny Thompson, John Thompson, Luthur Thomas and Kenneth Watson.
Doris Phillips Rasberry
Sept. 13, 1923 - Oct. 28, 2003
NATCHEZ - Services for Doris Phillips Rasberry, 80, who died Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2003, at her residence after a lengthy illness, will be held at 2 p.m. today at First Baptist Church with Dr. Judson W. Hurt officiating.
Burial will be in Greenlawn cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation is from 1 p.m. until service time today at the church parlor.
The family requests memorials be made to the First Baptist Church, the Diabetes Foundation or the Lung Association.

Burial will be in the Natchez National cemetery under the direction of George F. West Funeral Home.
Visitation is from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 10 a.m. until service time Friday at the church.
Mrs. Marshall was born
May 30, 1924, in Franklin County, the daughter of Ben Pickett and Dessie Pickett.
She was a 1964 graduate of Brumfield High School and a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church.
Survivors include five children, Barbara J. Marshall, Alice Jones and husband, Luther, Addis Marshall, Jr. and wife, Paulette, John Marshall and wife, Gwendolyn and Ricky Marshall and fiance', Nikki Smoot; five grandchildren, Barbara Evette Moore and husband, Anthony of Plano, TX, Kristy Marshall, Desiree Marshall, Ricky Marshall, Brandon Marshall and Shashonda Bernard; one step-grandson, Paul Rhodes and wife, Caroline; two step-granddaughters, Ashley Price and Dandridge Murray; 11 great-grandchildren; one sister, Daisy Bennett of Natchez; one uncle, Luther Havard of Los Angeles, CA; two aunts, Mary Walker of Milwaukee, WI and Mailure Havard of Los Angeles; one niece, Thelma Rachal of Los Angeles; two nephews, Melvin Bennett of Los Angeles and Willie Bennett of Natchez; one sister-in-law, Mattie Marshall of Alexandria, LA; one brother-in-law, August Marshall of Hamburg; a dear devoted friend, Mary Lee Davis; and a number of other relatives and friends.

Lulu Lee Lehmann Marron
NATCHEZ - Services for Lulu Lee Lehmann Marron, 100, of Natchez, who died Saturday, Oct. 25, 2003, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at 3 p.m. today at Fayette United Methodist Church with the Rev. Stanley Landrum officiating.
Burial will be at Fayette cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation is 1 to 3 p.m. today at the church.
Mrs. Marron was born
July 30, 1903, in Centreville, the daughter of Ferdinand Louis and Anna Corban Lehmann. She was the retired co-owner of Marron Drug Store. She was also a school teacher and a housewife. She was a member of Fayette Methodist Church, Fayette Garden Club and Order of the Eastern Star. She graduated from Whitworth College in Brookhaven.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Leo Marron.
Survivors include a daughter and her husband, Miriam Marron Montgomery and Charles N. Montgomery Jr. of Natchez; three grandons, Keith Montgomery and wife Joan of Clinton, Ritchie Marron Montgomery of Hollywood, Calif., and Kirk Montgomery of Lake St. John, La., and Natchez; and three great-grandsons, Keith N. Montgomery Jr. of Destin, Fla., Mason S. Montgomery of Oxford and Brenton B. Montgomery of Oxford.
Pallbearers will be Lucien Noble Jr., Byron O'Quinn, Harry Seeger, Dr. Walter Dawkins, William S. Darsey, John Mott Coffey and John Noble.

MERIDIAN - Services for Nancy Tuccio Vedrenne, 54, who died Friday, Oct. 3, 2003, at Jeff Anderson Hospital, were held Monday, Oct. 6, at Barham Funeral Home in Meridian with the Rev. Alan Judd and Thurman Hodge officiating.
Mrs. Vedrenne was born
Sept. 21, 1949, in Natchez, the daughter of Sam John and Dorothy M. Tuccio.
She was employed by Trustmark National Bank for 26 years and was a member of the Meridian Church of Christ.
Mrs. Vedrenne was preceded in death by her father, Sam John Tuccio; paternal grandparents, Vincent and Josephine Tuccio; and maternal grandparents, Oliver and Hazel McMahon.
Survivors include her husband, Edwin A. Vedrenne Jr.; one daughter, Amber; one son, John Vedrenne, all of Meridian; her mother, Dorothy Tuccio; one sister, Eileen Wickham and husband, Lonnie of Natchez; one sister-in-law, Alice Logan and husband, Charles of Altamonte Springs, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were members of the family.
John E. Mulhearn, Jr.

NATCHEZ - Services for John E. Mulhearn, Jr., 65, of Natchez, who died Sunday, Oct. 19, 2003, will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Trinity Episcopal Church with the Very Rev. Zabron A. Davis, III of Trinity Episcopal Church officiating and the Rev. Brock Watson of Westminster Presbyterian church assisting.
Services are under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation is from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 9 to 10:15 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
He was a longtime resident of Natchez and former Adams County Board of Supervisors attorney. A native of Ruston, LA, he was an attorney with Mulhearn and Mulhearn in Natchez for over 40 years and a renowned outdoorsman. He was a member of Trinity Episcopal church with service on the vestry, the Mississippi State Bar Association, Mississippi State Bar Mediator, Mississippi Trial Lawyers Association (Board of Governors), Mississippi Bar Foundation, Adams County Bar Association (Past Secretary, Vice President and President), Association of Trial Lawyers of America, American Bar Association, Wahabi Shriners A.A.O.N.M.S. of Jackson, Natchez Masonic Bodies, Andrew Jackson Lodge #2 F&AM;, Ducks Unlimited, and the National Wild Turkey Federation.
Mr. Mulhearn was preceded in death by his parents, John E. Mulhearn, Sr. and Evelyn Richardson Mulhearn.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Mulhearn; his daughter, Lyn Del Caro and husband, Adrian; daughter, Becky Atkeison and husband, Mike; son, Patrick and wife, Sarah; grandchildren, John Michael Atkeison and Anthony Matteo Del Caro; sister, Ruth Williams and husband, Ronnie; and brother, Edwin Mulhearn.
Pallbearers will be Bryan Callaway, Richard Case, Charles Feltus, Lane Feltus, Jack Pool, and John Redhead.
Honorary pallbearers will be the members of the Adams County Bar Association.
The family has asked that memorials be sent to either Trinity Episcopal Church at P.O. Box 1323, Natchez, MS 39121 or to Trinity Episcopal Day School at 321 Highway 61 South, Natchez, MS 39120.
Paul Britt
NATCHEZ - Services for Paul Britt, 76, of Natchez, who died Friday, Oct. 17, 2003, in Jackson, will be at 11 a.m. today at Highland Baptist Church with the Revs. David McGuffee and Doug Wright officiating.
Burial will be at Sylvarena Baptist Church cemetery in Wesson under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Mr. Britt was born
March 31, 1927, in Copiah County, the son of Carl G. and Bessie Hutson Britt.
He was a member of Highland Baptist Church for 35 years. He loved Jesus, his family and football.
Survivors include his wife, Betty A. Britt of Natchez; three sons, Terry Britt and wife Julia of Natchez, Andrew Britt of Natchez, and Michael Britt and wife Anita of Zapata, Texas; four daughters, Charlotte Bolyer and husband Virgil of Natchez, Karen Hardin and husband Carl of Jackson, Patricia Britt of Natchez and Angela Britt of Natchez; 17 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Cori Britt, Buddy Merritt, Adrian Britt, Brian Merritt, Chris Merritt, Terry Britt Jr., Chris Britt and Steven Tatum.
