MOSELLE - Services for Julie C. "Holly" Grice, 76, of Laurel, who died Sunday, July 6, 2003, at South Central Regional Medical Center, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Fairfield Baptist Church with the Revs. Bob Bullock, N.O. Jeffcoat and Alan McCord officiating.
Burial will be at Soules Chapel Church cemetery under the direction of H.L. Jones and Son Funeral Home of Moselle.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home and for one hour prior to service time Wednesday at the church.
Mrs. Grice was born
May 26, 1927, and was a homemaker. She was a member of Harmony Baptist Church in Laurel, where she was a member of the WMU, handbell choir, senior adult choir, and the Meals on Wheels program. She also held several positions in the church. She was a longtime resident of Jones County and also lived in Natchez and New Orleans before retiring to Laurel.
Survivors include a son, Thomas Glenn Grice of Marrero, La.; two daughters, Charlotte Anne Collins of Shongaloo, La., and Rebecca Jane Gault of Orlando, Fla.; a daughter-in-law, Charlene Grice of Marrero; two sons-in-law, Willie Collins of Shongaloo and Allen Gault of Orlando; six grandchildren, Christopher Shawn Collins, Jennifer Lynn Collins Avery, Patrick Kyle Collins, Timothy Shane Grice, Cassandra Nichole Grice and Justin Allen Gault; five great-grandchildren, Brittany Marie Avery, Lindsey Michelle Avery, Kara Beth Avery, Madeline Catherine Collins and Logan Bruce Collins; and a sister, Sallie Graham Bullock of Laurel.

NATCHEZ - Sevices for Leslie E. Holmes, Jr., 69, of Natchez, who died Monday, June 30, 2003, at University Medical Center in Jackson, will be at 2 p.m. today at Laird Funeral Home Union Street Chapel.
Burial will be in McNair cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Mr. Holmes was born
Aug. 5, 1933, in Natchez, the son of Leslie Eugene and Stella Watson Holmes.
Mr. Holmes was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Elizabeth Holmes and a son, Roy Curtis Holmes.
Survivors include one son, Ralph E. Holmes of Fayette; three daughters, Carol Lynn Wallace of Natchez, Pamela Grantham of Kirby and Bobbie Case of Fayette; 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; four brothers, Robert Holmes and Tommy Holmes, both of Natchez, Feidin Holmes of Monroe, La. and Jimmy Holmes of California; one sister, Eunice McKenzie of Fayette.
Pallbearers will be Dion Jackson, Jamie Perkins, Wiley Dunson, Bobby Merritt, Michael Rourks and Daniel Grantham.
Sarah Jane Wilson

NATCHEZ - Services for Sarah Jane Wilson, 81, of Natchez, who died Friday, June 27, 2003, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at noon Thursday at Zion Flower Baptist Church with the Rev. Dan Alexander officiating.
Burial will be in Pine Hill Memorial Park cemetery under the direction of George F. West Funeral Home.
Visitation is from 4 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 11 a.m. until service time Thursday at the church.
Mrs. Wilson was born
Nov. 11, 1921, in Adams County, the daughter of Saul and Tina Wilson.
She was a member of Zion Flower Baptist Church, St. Clara Lodge No. 23 and L F & C Society.
Survivors include two sons, Roosevelt Wilson and his wife, Reba, both of Chicago, Ill. and Julius Barnes and his wife, Pearle, both of Natchez; two daughters, Daisy Barnes and Florida Johnson, both of Natchez; three sisters, Beulah Irving and her husband, Arthur, Laura Swazy and her husband, Frid and Gertrude Wilson, all of Natchez; seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Curtis Wilson, Charles Wilson, Wardell Gaines, Arthur Irving Jr., Larry Hutchins and Micheal Pollard.
Honorary pallbearers will be grandsons, Terry Wilson, Donald Ray Wilson and Darnell Barnes.

NATCHEZ - Services for Mamie Parker Chatman, 74, of Natchez, who died Thursday, June 26, 2003, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary Baptist Church with the Rev. Joe Gibson officiating.
Burial will be in St. Paul AME Church cemetery under the direction of R. D. Mackel and Sons.
Visitation is from noon to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 10:30 a.m. until service time Thursday at the church.
Mrs. Chatman was born
June 13, 1929, in Adams County, the daughter of Ethel Jackson and James Mosby.
She was a faithful member and Mother of St. Mary Baptist Church.
Mrs. Chatman was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, George White, Fred Mosby and Earnest Spencer; four sisters, Thelma Mosby Kelley, Claudia Mosby, Carrie Williams and Margurite Perkins; two granddaughters, Angela Grissom Jordan and LeShelle Simington.
Survivors include her husband, Albert Chatman; seven daughters, Georgia Demby and Queen Ella Screws, both of Natchez, Ethel Grissom of Los Angeles, Calif., Diane Simington and her husband, Euley, both of Cape Girrado, Mo., Patricia Brooks and Jerri Delena Parke of Indianapolis, Ind. and Ruth Monroe and her husband, Jimmie, both of Jackson; four sons, James parker Jr., Charles Parker and his wife, Brenda and Robert Parker, all of Natchez and Clarence Parker and his wife, Diane, both of Atlanta, Ga.; four sisters, Bertha Miller, Nancy Ross, Florence Mosby and Nancy Mosby, all of Natchez; three brothers, Frank Mosby of California, Phillip Mosby and James Mosby Jr., all of Natchez; 18 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; and six step-children.

GLOSTER - Private graveside services for Melba Lorraine Forman, 62, of Gloster, who died Sunday, June 29, 2003, at her residence, will be today at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church cemetery near Gloster with the Rev. Terry Johnston and the Rev. Keith Zachary officiating.
Burial will follow under the direction of Brown Funeral Home of Gloster.
Mrs. Forman was born
May 29, 1941, in Franklin County, the daughter of Thomas Brown Dawson and Annie Marie Temple.
She was a member and church secretary at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.
Mrs. Forman was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Brown Dawson and Annie Marie Temple Dawson and two sons, Glynn Forman and Matt Forman.
Survivors include her husband, Gary Forman of Gloster; two sons, Craig Forman and his wife, Linda and Michael Forman and his wife, Lisa, all of Gloster; six grandchildren, Cheyenne, Joshua, Montana, Nicholas, Christopher and Kara Forman; daughter-in-law, Angel Forman.
Pallbearers will be Bruce Forman, Marty Forman, Danny Forman, Jason Forman, Greg Randall and Weslie Causey.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Rymer, Michael Corban, Mike Arnold and Ronnie Forman.
W. C. "Bit" Lee

NATCHEZ - Services for W. C. "Bit" Lee, 85, of Natchez, who died Tuesday, July 1, 2003, at his residence, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Laird Funeral Home Union Street Chapel.
Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Lee was born
March 11, 1918, in Heflin, Ala., the son of William Hilton and Fannie Martin Lee.
He was a veteran of World War II.
Mr. Lee was preceded in death by his first wife, Gladys Holloway Lee.
Survivors include his wife, Willie Mae Newman Lee of Natchez; one daughter, Barbara Lewis of Natchez; granddaughter, Vicky Oswald of Plano, Texas; son-in-law, Arthur Lee Lewis of Natchez; brother, James T. Lee and his wife, Ruby Lee, both of Natchez; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Rosie Harried
Sept. 10, 1915 - June 25, 2003
FAYETTE - Services for Rosie Harried, 87, of Fayette, who died Wednesday, June 25, 2003, at Claiborne County Hospital in Port Gibson, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Hollywood Baptist Church with the Rev. James Beverly officiating.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery under the direction of Spencer Funeral Home of Fayette.
Visitation will be from 2 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Harried was born
Sept. 10, 1915, in Jefferson County, the daughter of Clemmie and Martha Beverly.
She attended Liddell High School in Fayette and a member of Rose Hill No. 2 Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gus Harried, her parents, five daughters, eight sons and 15 brothers and sisters.
Survivors include two daughters, Josephine Harried and Helen Baker, both of Fayette; one son, Eugene Harried of Fayette; one brother, John, and his wife, Josehine, both of Detroit; 41 grandchildren; 81 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; one special granddaughter, Shalander Tyler, and her husband, Christopher Sr., both of Fayette; one special grandson, Willie Queen Jr. of Fayette; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be friends of the family.
Mottis Marie Haynes
NATCHEZ - Services for Mottis Marie Haynes, 74, who died Tuesday, June 24, 2003, at Gwinett Medical Center in Suwanee, Ga., will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Zion Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Joe W. Pickett officiating.
No visitation will be held.
She was preceded in death by her parents and four siblings.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry Haynes Jr.; three sons, Larry Haynes of Natchez, Dwight Haynes of Roxie and Jerry Wayne Haynes of Suwanee; four daughters, Patricia Adams of Rock Island, Ill., Brenda Harris and Evelyn Hutchins, both of Natchez, and Dorothy Eppes of Jackson; two sisters, Katherine Vanderson and Geraldine Dixon, both of Natchez; two brothers, Albert Dixon of Pasadena, Calif., and Ernest Dixon of Natchez; and a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other family members and friends.

Burial will be in the church cemetery under the direction of Franklin Funeral Home.
Visitation is from 8 to 10:30 a.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Holland was born
June 21, 1933, in Franklin County, the daughter of Leon Burris and Gladys Arnold Burris.
She was a homemaker and a member of New Salem Baptist Church.
Mrs. Holland was preceded in death by her father.
Survivors include her husband, Delton Holland of McCall Creek; one son, Darly Holland of Deltona, FL; one daughter, Linda Johnston of Orlando, FL; one brother, Robert Burris of McCall Creek; one sister, Carolyn White of McCall Creek; and four grandchilren.
