Memorial services for Carrie Ruth Schuchs, 20, of Fulton, who died in a car wreck on Sat., June 14, 2003, will be held at 10 a.m. today at Mount Vernon Baptist Church with the Rev. Steve Pearson of Community Chapel Church of God in Natchez officiating.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Senter Funeral Home of Fulton.
Miss Schuchs was born
Jan. 28, 1983, in Natchez, the daughter of F. Michael Schuchs and Alison J. Schuchs.
She was a member of Mount Vernon Baptist Church, a college student and worked part time at Tasty Treats in Fulton.
Survivors include her parents, Michael and Alison Schuchs of Fulton; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. William McLean of Scotland and Mr. and Mrs. R.L. Schuchs of Natchez; her great-grandmother, Agnes Foster of Natchez; her sister, Isla S. Carr and brother-in-law, James L. Carr Jr. of Oxford; and the families of James L. Schuchs III and Cloyce M. Hinton, both of Natchez, Dr. Alistair B. McLean of Canada and Robert H. McLean of England.
James D. "Jim" Crawford

NATCHEZ - Memorial services for James D. "Jim" Crawford, 64, of Natchez, who died Friday, June 13, 2003, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at 11 a.m. today at Grace United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dayna Goff officiating.
Burial will be at Chapel of the Cross cemetery in Madison at a later date, under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation is from 10 a.m. until service time today at the church.
Mr. Crawford was born
Nov. 22, 1938, in Canton, the son of Orrin David Crawford and Eloise Bennett Crawford.
He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, where he was choir director. He was also organist at Assumption Catholic Church. He received his bachelor of music education degree from the University of Southern Mississippi and his master of education degree from Southern Louisiana College in Hammond, La. He was retired as a music teacher from Adams County schools and also as band director from Adams County Christian School.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra Crawford of Natchez; three sons, Blake Crawford of Slidell, La., and Charles Crawford and David Crawford, both of Shreveport, La.; a stepdaughter, Laurie Methvin of Jacksonville, Fla.; two stepsons, Jimmy Campbell of Pensacola, Fla., and Steven Campbell of Virginia Beach, Va.; his mother, Eloise Crawford of Madison; a brother, Dudley Crawford of West End, N.C.; a sister, Katherine Newell of Canton; and a number of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

CRYSTAL SPRINGS - Services for Mary Alice Little, 88, of Copiah Living Center in Crystal Springs, who died Sunday, June 15, 2003 at Copiah Living Center, will be at 2 p.m. today at Stringer Funeral Home of Crystal Springs.
Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church cemetery under the direction of Stringer Funeral Home.
Visitation is from 10 a.m. until service time today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Little was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Guy A. Little and sons, Freddie Little and Max Earl Little.
Survivors include children, Shelton Little of McComb, Joyce Little of Natchez, Frances Slay of Barlow, Mildred Tillson of Crystal Springs and Martha Traxler of Crystal Springs; brothers, Homer Lee Davis and Frank Davis, both of Hazlehurst, J. C. Davis and Albert Davis, both of Harrisville; sister, Mildred Griffin of Crystal Springs; 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

NATCHEZ - Services for Sara Elizabeth "Beth" Bunch, 18, of Natchez, who died Monday, June 16, 2003, in Natchez, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary Basilica with Father Alfred Camp and Father Mike O'Brien officiating.
Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation is from 5 to 7 p.m. and a Rosary service at 7 p.m. today at the church.
Miss Bunch was born
Aug. 31, 1984, in Natchez, the daughter of William Dunbar Bunch and Elizabeth Diane Dees Bunch.
She was a 2002 graduate of Cathedral High School and was a member of St. Mary Basilica.
Miss Bunch was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Willie Beth Dees.
Survivors include her parents, William Dunbar Bunch, Diane Dees Golden and Chuck Golden, all of Natchez; maternal grandfather, Howard Dees and his wife, Diane Dees, both of Natchez; paternal grandparents, Helen Kammerdeiner of Natchez and James Bunch, Sr. of Cookson, OK; maternal great-grandparents, Conadell Dees and William Prather of Natchez; step-grandparents, Harold Golden and Roma Golden of Natchez; sisters, Jennifer Bunch, Caroline Golden, Jennifer Golden and Mary Katherine Golden, all of Natchez; brothers, Matthew Golden and Patrick Golden of Natchez; niece, Abigail Elizabeth Rushing of Natchez.
Pallbearers will be Richard Herring, Johnny Hudson, David Parsons, William Dees, James Bunch, Jr. and Estus Porter.
Honorary pallbearers will be Robert "Red" Owens, Davis Bunch, Pat Smith and Walter Cangemi.

NATCHEZ - Memorial services for Scott Pintard Byrne, 68, of Natchez, who died Sunday, June 15, 2003, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at 1 p.m. today at St. Mary Basilica with Father Al Camp and Father Mike O'Brien officiating.

Mr. Byrne was born
Jan. 4, 1935, in Natchez, the son of Paul Henry Byrne and Page Pintard Calhoun.
He was a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi, owner of Ark-La-Miss Title Search Company and a member of St. Mary's. He was also a veteran of the Korean War.
Mr. Byrne was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Vicki Meng Byrne; three daughters, Page Blackwell and her husband, Gary and Scottye Byrne, all of Natchez and Alice Jewell and her husband, Ricky, both of Lorman; two grandchildren, Tori Gremillion and her husband, Brandon and Elizabeth Blackwell; one brother, Paul H. Byrne, Jr. and his wife, Jan Priester Byrne; one nephew, Priester Byrne; one niece, Susannah Heatherly and her husband, Wade.

Mrs. Turner was born
Nov. 14, 1956, in Natchez, the daughter of Henry L. Moore II and Melba Glover Moore.
She was a member of Riverside Baptist Church and taught its children's worship service.
She was preceded in death by her father and one brother, Henry Moore III.
Survivors include her husband, Kermit Pat Turner; two daughters, Nicki Turner Smith of Houston and Bridgette T. Stricklin of Natchez; one son-in-law, Josh Stricklin of Natchez; two grandchildren, Tanner Blake Smith of Houston and Tacoma Blayne Stricklin of Natchez; her parents, James Lavon and Melba Nations, both of Natchez; her stepmother, Betty L. Moor of Natchez; one brother, Rick Nations of Natchez; two sisters, Theresa Davis of Natchez and Miranda Clifton of Jonesville, La.; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Andrew Pack, Mike Collier, Jerry Nations, Trinity Scott, Dewitt Felter and Mark Halloran.

Ms. Paige was born
Oct. 10, 1924, in Natchez, the daughter of George and Margaret Bacon.
She was a graduate of the Brumfield High Class of 1942, attended ASU and was a retired private duty nurse. She was a Baptist, was chairperson of the Mother's Board, member of the Missionary Society and the Senior Choir. She was a lover of caring for birds, plants and people.
Survivors include one daughter, Linda D. White; one son, Lee R. Paige; three grandchildren, Joy, Leon and William White; three great-grandchildren, Charnell Griffen, Briana Chester and Eboni Trevillion; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Pallbearers will be Harold Bacon, Paul Bacon, Larry Holmes, Ralph W. Jennings, Cyrus Mitchell and Cedric Parker.
