NATCHEZ - Services for Howard J. Siddons, 59, of Natchez, who died Sunday, Dec. 29, 2002, at his residence, will be held at 9 a.m. Friday at 61 South Church of Christ with Coleman Allmond officiating.
Mr. Siddons was born
July 24, 1942, in Philadelphia, the son of Howard B. and Louise M. Powell Siddons. He was a member of the Moose Lodge and a bass tournament fisherman.
He was preceded in death by one son, Timothy Siddons, and his mother, Louise Siddons.
Survivors include his wife, Sara Siddons of Natchez; four sons, Earl Biggs and wife Debbie of Port Orange, Fla., Roy Whitaker and his wife, Kim, of Ormond Beach, Fla., Deken Siddons and his wife, Jennifer, of Daytona Beach, Fla., and James Siddons; two daughters, Lisa Lawson and her husband, Tom, of Bunnel, Fla., and Tina Siddons; his father, Howard B. Siddons of Natchez; 10 grandchildren; two brothers; five sisters; and a number of nieces, nephews and friends.

NATCHEZ - Graveside services for Joel L. Wilkins, 64, of Soldotna, Alaska, who died Thursday, Dec. 5, 2002, at her residence, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
A memorial service was held Saturday, Dec. 28, at College Heights Baptist Church in Soldotna with Pastor Scott Coffman officiating. Peninsula Memorial Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
Ms. Wilkins was born
Nov. 10, 1938, in Ferriday, La., the daughter of Gordon and Lyda Mae Lazarus.
She was finance officer for the City of Soldotna for 28 years and a member of College Heights Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her father and one daughter, Donna Wilkins.
Survivors include her mother; one son, Gordon "Butch" Wilkins, and his wife, Nancy, both of Soldotna; one daughter, Rena Gardner, and her husband, Kim, both of Soldotna; her children's father, Charles Wilkins of Flat Ash, Ark.; four grandchildren, Severin Gardner and Adrienne Gardner, both of Soldotna, and Jason Wilkins and Sarah Wilkins; one sister, Diane Denny, and her husband, Lew, both of Jacksonville, Fla.; one niece, Melanie Goodwin, and her husband, Charlie, both of Wasilla, Alaska; and a number of friends and colleagues.

Mrs. Collier was born
Dec. 10, 1930, in Natchez, the daughter of George Hayden and Lucille Monte Green.
Survivors include her husband, Claude Collier; two sons, Robert Collier and his wife, Linda, and Randy Collier and his wife, Deborah, all of Natchez; one daughter, Martha Wilson and her husband, Donald, both of Natchez; two sisters, Mary Ann Roberts of Natchez and Katherine Crouse of Florida; five grandchildren, Cameran Collier, Stephanie Wilson, Tiffany Collier, Denise Collier and Kimberly Collier; and two great-grandchildren, Deven Collier and Dylan Collier.
Pallbearers will be Donald Wilson, Bubba Gilbert, Mike Wilson, Lee Gillespie, George Tarver and Johnny Tarver.

NATCHEZ - Services for Michael A. Clay, 41, of Natchez, who died Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2002, at Baton Rouge (La.) General Hospital were held at 11 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 29, at Ebeneezer Baptist Church with the Rev. Leon Howard officiating. Burial followed in the Mercy Seat Baptist Church cemetery in Sibley under the direction of MJR Friendly Service Funeral Home of Denham Springs, La.
Mr. Clay was born
Nov. 16, 1961, in Natchez, the son of James A. Clay Sr. and Lydia M. Woods Clay. He was a graduate of Cathedral High School's Class of 1979 and was a member of Ebeneezer Baptist Church. He was a federal security officer at the Internal Revenue Service in Baton Rouge.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, James and Lydia M. Woods; his paternal grandparents, Sylvester Clay and Emma Pollard; and his mother.
Survivors include his father; three brothers, James A. Clay Jr. and his wife, Linda, both of Moss Point, Riley L. Clay Sr. and his wife, Mary, and Lenneth M. Clay, all of Baton Rouge; two sisters, Chriscella Clay of Natchez and Monica J. Clay Morris and her husband, Michael, both of Philadelphia; three aunts, Josie L. Davis of Kenner, La., Emily Gibbs of San Fernando Valley, Calif., and Cora Pollard of Los Angeles; one uncle, Henry Woods and his wife, Hilda, both of New Orleans; one great-aunt, Jean Watson of Chicago; and a number of relatives and friends.

CENTREVILLE - Services for Charles Iverson "Ike" Stutzman, 60, of Centreville, who died Monday, Dec. 30, 2002, at his residence, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Centreville United Methodist Chruch with the Revs. John Brashier and Frank Camp officiating.
Burial will follow at Oaklawn cemetery under the direction of Newman Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home and from noon until service time Wednesday at the church.
Mr. Stutzman was born
Nov. 24, 1942, in Centreville, the son of Frank H. and Agnes Eugenia McKey Stutzman. He was a retired insurance agent for Union National Insurance Co. and a member of Centreville United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Frank Stutzman Jr.; and one sister, Lena Ladgett.
Survivors include his wife, Flora Nell Morgan Stutzman; one son, Chad Stutzman of Centreville; two daughters, Kristi Beshenich and her husband, Chip, both of Abita Springs, La., and Darri Stevens and her husband, Chad, both of Liberty; five grandchildren, Kayla and Trey Beshenich, Chase Stutzman and Charli and Olivia Stevens; one brother, Joe Stutzman of Tunica, La.; and one sister, Marilyn Maryman of St. Francisville, La.
Pallbearers will be Jack "Buck" Darden, Bill Bankston, Don Vine, Wayne Vine, Steve McKey, Billy Stutzman and Billy D'Aquila. Honorary pallbearers will be Bud Howell, Rudy Wilson, Hansford McKey and Albert Maryman. The family requests memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Harvey William Johnson Jr.
NATCHEZ - Services for Harvey William Johnson Jr., 56, of Natchez, who died Sunday, Dec. 22, 2002, will be held at 11 a.m. today at Pilgrim Baptist Church with the Rev. Melvin White officiating. Burial will follow at Natchez National cemetery under the direction of Webb Funeral Home.
Mr. Johnson was born
in Gulfport, the son of Harvey and Berneice Johnson. He served in the U.S. Army from 1969-71, attended Jackson State University and was a butcher at Wal-Mart SuperCenter. He was a Methodist.
Survivors include three sons, Dan Johnson and Christopher Johnson, both of Gulfport, and Harvey Johnson III of Florida; one daughter, Tammy Johnson Dunlap of Washington, D.C.; and a friend, Penny Johnson. Pallbearers will be Herman Stewart, Lionel Jones, Clarence White, Charles Credit, Carlos Patterson and Patrick Jones.
John David Damaré

MAGEE - Services for John David Damaré, 49, of Magee, who died Sunday, Dec. 22, 2002, at Magee General Hospital, were at 2:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 23, at the Boswell Regional Center auditorium.

Mr. Damaré was born
Oct. 19, 1953, the son of Joseph Rene Damaré and Rose Elizabeth Taylor Damaré. He was preceded in death by his father and one aunt, Katherine Damaré.
Survivors include his mother; one brother, William "Buddy" Damaré of Hernando; one sister, Roseann Beach of Tunica; two nieces; and three nephews.

NATCHEZ - Services for the Rev. Horace Pullins Sr., 82, of New Orleans, who died Wednesday, Dec. 25, 2002, in Harahan, La., were at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 30, at Mackel and Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Ernest Peters officiating.
Burial was at Natchez National cemetery under the directon of the funeral home.
Rev. Pullins was born
March 14, 1920, in Natchez, the son of Martha Pullins and Jessie Pullins. He was a Baptist and pastored many churches in the New Orleans area, including Jehovah Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a mechanic.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Willie Pullins and Freeman Pullins; two stepchildren, Rosaline Pittman and Joseph Penns; a daughter-in-law, Carol Pullins; one brother-in-law, Arthur Griffin Sr.; and two sisters-in-law, Malrea Pullins and Lillian Taylor.
Survivors include his wife, Louvilla Penns Pullins; six sons, Earl Pullins of Natchez, Horace Pullins Jr. and his wife, Essie, both of Detroit, Frank Pullins and his wife, Geraldine, and Lee Pullins and his wife, Shelia, all of Minneapolis, and Jessie Pullins and his wife, Lorraine, and Clarence Pittman, all of New Orleans; two stepsons, the Rev. Johnell Penns and Vernell Penns Sr., both of New Orleans; two daughters, Paula Pullins and her husband, Ray Newton, both of Gulfport, and Dedra Pittman and her husband, Rorynell, both of New Orleans; seven stepdaughters, Vanessa Jordan and her husband, Carl, Terri Parker and her husband, Jeffery, Lori Smith, Esther Penns, Verna Jones, Myrtis Ruffin and Priscilla Penns, all of New Orleans; 43 gradnchildren; 52 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Clarence Pullins of Natchez and Fleming Pullins and his wife, Susie, both of Chicago; seven sisters-in-law; and four brothers-in-law.

May 14, 1942, in St. Helens, England, the daughter of Robert and Irene Hope Brown.
She was a member of the Catholic faith.
Mrs. Davies was preceded in death by her mother.
Survivors include her husband, Francis "Frank" Davies; her mother; two sons, John Davies and Stephen F. Davies, both of Natchez; two daughters, Sherrie Jones and her husband, Richard, both of Natchez, and Kerrie Daniels and her husband, Mark, both of Orange, Texas; four sisters, Mary Bostock, Edna Ransom, Netta Pennington and Rita Brown, all of St. Helens; and five grandchildren, Jessica Davies, Kyle Davies, Will Jones, Matthew Daniels and Megan Daniels.

Burial will follow in St. James African Methodist Episcopal Church cemetery under the direction of West Funeral Home.
Visitation is from 4 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home, with a special service from 7 to 8 p.m., and from 10 a.m. until funeral time Monday at the church.
Ms. Proby was born
April 5, 1943, in Adams County, the daughter of Mary Carter.
She was a cook and housekeeper and a member of the Methodist faith and the Missionary Society.
Ms. Proby was preceded in death by her mother.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary Lee and Barbara Hoskins, both of Natchez; three sons, Albert Proby Jr., Ricky Proby and Edward Proby, all of Natchez; and a number of other relatives and friends.
Earl Nichols

NATCHEZ - Services for Earl Nichols, 78, of Natchez, who died Wednesday, Dec. 25, 2002, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at 1 p.m. at Union Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Joe Pickett officiating.
Burial will follow in Pine Hill cemetery under the direction of West Funeral Home.
Visitation is from 3 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
The procession will leave at 12:40 p.m. from 22 October St.
Mr. Nichols was born
Feb. 19, 1924, in Jefferson County, the son of Cetta Nichols Johnson and Gerard Owens.
He attended Jefferson County schools, retired from Armstrong Tire and Rubber Co. after 44 years and was a member of Union Missionary Baptist Church and the Natchez Business and Civic League.
Mr. Nichols was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include two daughters, Evelyn Fort and her husband, James, and Daisy Lyles; two sons, Lonnie Nichols and Billy Nichols and his wife, Jackie; four sisters, Betty Dennis, Bessie Johnson, Francis Reed and Marie Johnson; and four brothers, James Nichols, Levi Johnson, Emmitt Johnson and Alexander Johnson.
Pallbearers will be Cyrus Mitchell, Tony Pinder, Albert Johnson, Levin Johnson Jr., R. Lee Dennis Jr. and Bobby Dennis.
