Molett, 86, retired Air Force lieutenant colonel, comic strip writer for Stars and Stripes and author of the book, "Admiral Perry and Matthew Henson at the North Pole," died Wednesday at Baptist Memorial Hospital-DeSoto in Southaven. A World War II, Korean War and Vietnam War veteran, he was the recipient of the Flying Cross, Bronze Star and Air War Medal. He was a master duplicate bridge player and director.
