Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Brantley Funeral Home with burial in Memorial Park South Woods. She was a member of Maples Memorial United Methodist Church and a graduate of Bowling Green University. Mrs. Armistead, the widow of L.E. Armistead, leaves a daughter, Myra Deyhle of Houston, Texas; three sons, Dr. Ray Armistead of New Bern, N.C., Hugh Armistead of Olive Branch and Dr. Joseph Armistead of Marietta, Ga.; a sister, Ruby Norvell of Olive Branch, and four grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to Maples Memorial United Methodist Church or a charity of the donor's choice.

Oxford -- Burwell Joseph Boykin Jr., 32, machinist for the University of Mississippi, died Friday in Pontotoc County. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Waller Funeral Home with burial in Orwood cemetery. He attended Mount Zion Church. Mr. Boykin, the husband of Karen Renfrow Boykin, also leaves a son, Burl Thomas Boykin; a stepson, Copeland Vaughn, and his parents, Jane and Burl Boykin, all of Oxford, and a sister, Elizabeth Ann McManus of Raytown, Texas. The family requests that any memorials be sent to Le Bonheur Children's Medical Center in Memphis or Orwood cemetery.

Sardis -- Samuel W. Chrestman, 93, retired farmer, died Friday at Beverly Healthcare in Batesville. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Kimbro Funeral Home in Marks with burial in Longtown cemetery. He was a member of Hollywood Baptist Church in Sledge. Mr. Chrestman, the widower of Rosa Lee Ingram Chrestman, leaves a daughter, Martha Bray of Sardis; four sons, S.W. Chrestman Jr. of Sardis, Charles F. Chrestman of Morton, and Steve Chrestman and Paul Chrestman, both of Grenada; a brother, Fred Chrestman of Columbus, Ga., 13 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to Hollywood Baptist Church.

Tunica -- William R. 'Wild Bill' Blount Jr., 73, formerly of Memphis, retired attorney, died Wednesday at his home. Services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Memorial Park Funeral Home in Memphis with burial in Memorial Park. He was a Korean War veteran, a graduate of the University of Memphis Law School and a member of Delta Theta Phi Law Fraternity and Sons of Confederate Veterans. He leaves a daughter, Patty Ferrara, and a son, Lee Blount, both of Bartlett, and three granddaughters.

Waterford -- James Keith Bing, 32, heating and air conditioning worker, died Friday in Waterford. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Holly Springs Funeral Home with burial in Mount Moriah cemetery in Laws Hill. He was a member of Holly Hill Baptist Church. He leaves a daughter, Ashley Bing; a son, John Keith Bing; his parents, Sue and Billy Bing; a brother, Billy Bing Jr., and his grandmother, Christine Thomas, all of Waterford.

Corinth -- Carl Napoleon Wilkins, 81, retired from Intex Plastics, died Sunday at Magnolia Regional Health Center. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Corinthian Funeral Home with burial in Forrest Memorial Park. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion and Disabled Veterans of America, and attended Northside Church of Christ. Mr. Wilkins, the husband of Ava Dean Little Wilkins, also leaves a daughter, Lavone Essary, and two sisters, Gladys Hudason and Earlene Newcomb, all of Corinth; a brother, Eugene Wilkins of Cairo, a grandchild and two great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Roach, the widow of Willie Roach, leaves two daughters, Fay Tomlin and Tanda Roach, both of Harmontown; a son, Willie Anthony Roach of Charleston; two sisters, Shirley Davis of Oxford and Elizabeth Tomlin of Harmontown; five brothers, Gerald Billingsley of Southaven, B.B. Billingsley Jr. of Coffeeville, David Lee Billingsley of Byhalia, Larry Billingsley of Harmontown and Kenneth Billingsley of Looxahoma, two grandchildren and several stepgrandchildren.

Mr. McCallum, the widower of Sybil Winkley, leaves two daughters, Brenda Boone of Atlanta and Linda Nowlin of Millington; a son, Douglas Ray McCallum of Memphis; three sisters, Grace Johnson of Holly Springs, Joyce Jones of Waterford and Loyce Smith of Bartlett, Tenn., six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Services were Monday at Corinth First Baptist Church, where he was a deacon, choir member and Sunday school teacher, with burial in Henry cemetery. McPeters Funeral Home had charge. He was a World War II Army veteran, graduate of Corinth High School, attended Union University and was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon. Mr. Anderson, the husband of Jean Vassar Anderson for 56 years, also leaves two daughters, Kathy A. Irwin of Pinehurst, N.C., and Karen A. Timmons of Corinth, and five grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to Corinth First Baptist Church or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis.
