Funeral services for Miss Glenda Gill, 37, were held at 11 a. m. Sunday, April 25, 2004 at Beck Funeral Home Chapel in Louisville. Dr. Willie J. Coleman officiated. Burial followed in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Louisville.
A native of Louisville, Miss Gill was a laborer. Miss Gill died Tuesday, April 20, 2004 at University Medical Center in Jackson.
Survivors include six sisters, Mary Pleas, Shirley Gill, Deloris Miller, Angela Gill and Cynthia Gill, all of Douglasville, Ga. , and Pearlean Conners of Louisville; and four brothers, Kenneth Gill and John E. Gill, both of Louisville, Earnest C. Gill of Meridian and Darren Gill of Douglasville, Ga.

Mrs. Virginia Triplett Gilmore

Funeral services for Mrs. Virginia Triplett Gilmore, 73, were held at 3 p. m. Sunday, April 25, 2004 at Miller Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Louisville. The Rev. Mack Young officiated. Burial followed in Union Chapel Cemetery in Winston County.
A native of Louisville, Mrs. Gilmore was a homemaker. She was a member of Miller Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. Mrs. Gilmore died Tuesday, April 20, 2004.
Survivors include two daughters, Connie Johnson of Fort Polk, La. , and Katie M. Shields of Louisville; three sons, David L. Triplett of Leesville, La. , Robert L. Triplett of Savannah, Ga. , and Charlie Triplett of Philadelphia; five brothers, Tommy Love, the Rev. J. D. Love, Arthur Love and the Rev. George Love, all of Louisville, and Jimmy Love of Chicago, Ill. ; 21 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Mr. Ivey "Junior" Vowell

Funeral services for Mr. Ivey "Junior" Vowell, 73, were held at 11 a. m. Friday, April 23, 2004 at McClain-Hays Funeral Home Chapel in Philadelphia. The Rev. Lonoia Burks officiated. Burial followed in Sand Hill Cemetery in Neshoba County.
A native of Neshoba County and longtime resident of the Plattsburg Community in Winston County, Mr. Vowell was a retired truck driver. He was a veteran, having served with the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of Arlington Baptist Church. Mr. Vowell died Wednesday, April 21, 2004 at Neshoba County General Hospital.
Survivors include his wife, Sarah Vowell of Louisville; one daughter, Barbara Manning of Philadelphia; two sons, Ivey Vowell III of Noxapater and Billy Vowell of Philadelphia; seven sisters, Mary Joyce Zieminick, Barbara Pou, Ann Long and Priscilla Sanders, all of Philadelphia, Maxine Sullivan of Preston, Mavis D'Argo of Deland, Fla. , and Linda Parrish of North Carolina; two brothers, Carl Vowell and Jimmy Wayne Vowell, both of Philadelphia, and two grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Jim Sisson, Gary Todd, Mike Sharp, Greg Reynolds, Joe Duncan and Jimmy Pou.

Funeral services for Mr. Van C. Bobo, 84, were held at 2 p. m. Saturday, April 24, 2004 at Porter Funeral Home in Louisville. The Rev. Phil Gerber officiated. Burial followed in Memorial Park Cemetery in Louisville.
A native of Choctaw County, Mr. Bobo was a retired accountant. He was an office manager for R. G. Brown Jr. and Company, McBeath Construction Company, ConPlex Inc. and Sharp Construction Company. Mr. Bobo was a veteran, having served six years with the United States Army during World War II and two years in the Korean Conflict. He was a graduate of Eupora High School and Draughns Business College. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Louisville. Mr. Bobo died Thursday, April 22, 2004 at Monfort-Jones Memorial Hospital in Kosciusko.
Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Pearson Bobo of Louisville; two daughters, Barbara Ann "Babs" Loper of Jackson and Brenda Caltabiano of Brandon and two grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church Building Fund in Louisville.

Funeral services for Mr. Charles Leroy "Charlie" McCool, 62, were held at 2 p. m. Friday, April 23, 2004 at Doty Springs Baptist Church in Attala County. The Rev. Mike Skipper officiated. Burial followed in Old Mars Hill Cemetery in Winston County.
A native of Winston County and resident of Kosciusko, Mr. McCool was a retired mechanic and logger. He was a member of Doty Springs Baptist Church. Mr. McCool died Thursday, April 22, 2004 at Monfort-Jones Memorial Hospital in Kosciusko.
Survivors include his wife, Walterine McCool of Kosciusko; one daughter, Melinda Jones of Billings, Mont. ; one son, Billy McCool of Kosciusko; four sisters, Daisy Algood of Weir, Ruthie Leonard of Charleston, Dorothy Cox of McCool and Nancie Bradford of Louisville; two brothers, R. E. McCool of Ethel and Keith McCool of Louisville; four grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Pallbearers were Brad Bradford, Travis Burchfield, Randy Edwards, Mike McCool, Jimmy McCool, Jimmy McCool, Joe Algood, Richard Gaylord.

Funeral services for Mr. James K. "Boose" Gregory, 80, were held at 2 p. m. Monday, April 26, 2004 at Porter Funeral Home in Louisville. The Rev. Bobby Joe Butler and the Rev. Macke Amaker officiated. Burial followed in Vernon Assembly of God Cemetery in Winston County.
A native of Winston County, Mr. Gregory was a retired farmer and material handler for Taylor Machine Works. He was a veteran, having served with the United States Army during World War II. Mr. Gregory died Saturday, April 24, 2004 at his home in Louisville.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Jamie King of Louisville; three sisters, Lucille Peden and Marlyn Newell, both of De Kalb, and Mary Floore of Meridian; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mr. Gerald R. Pugh, 77, were held at 2:30 p. m. Tuesday, April 27, 2004 at Nowell-Tilghman Funeral Home Chapel in Louisville. Brother Wayne Sanders officiated. Burial followed in Memorial Park Cemetery in Louisville.
A resident of Louisville, Mr. Pugh was retired from his position as main saw filer and knife sharpener at Rives and Reynolds Lumber Company, where he worked following his 28 years of service in the United States Navy. Mr. Pugh was a veteran, having served in the Navy during the World War II and the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War. During his service, he was awarded the Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal, the American Campaign Medal, the American Defense Service Medal, the World War II Victory Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the Korean Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal with a Bronze Star, the Navy Occupation Service Medal, the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, the Presidential Unit Citation, the Navy Unit Citation, the Purple Heart, the Antarctic Service Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal, the Vietnam Campaign Medal with Clasp and the Good Conduct Medal with three Bronze Stars. Mr. Pugh died Saturday, April 24, 2004 at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Jackson.
Survivors include four daughters, Donna Conomos and Gaylene Boardman, both of Orlando, Fla. , Sandra Olson of Port Orange, Fla. , and Pam Peters of Crawfordville, Fla. ; two sons, Darryl R. Pugh of Louisville and Paul Pugh of McCool; one sister, Mabel Barron of Jackson; three brothers, Walter Ed Pugh and Winford "Bully" Pugh and James Pugh, all of Louisville; 13 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Jimmy Barton, Brett Murphy, Ken Murphy, Ryan Peters, Jason Pugh and Toby Steed.

Mr. William David "Bill" Clark

Funeral services for Mr. William David "Bill" Clark, 91, were held at 2 p. m. Tuesday, April 27, 2004 at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Ackerman. The Rev. Jimmy Flake and the Rev. Ricky Gray officiated. Burial followed in Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery.
A native of Oktibbeha County, Mr. Clark was a retired Baptist preacher, farmer and grist mill owner. Mr. Clark was a veteran, having served in the United States Navy during World War II. He was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. Mr. Clark died Tuesday, April 25, 2004 at Monfort-Jones Memorial Hospital in Kosciusko.
Survivors include five nephews and six nieces.
Memorials may be made to Bethlehem Baptist Church.

Mr. John Winston Weir

Funeral services for Mr. John Winston Weir, 78, were held at 10 a. m. Saturday, September 4, 2004 at Weir Presbyterian Church.
A native of Weir and resident of Houston, Texas, Mr. Weir served with the United States Air Force for 23 years, achieving the rank of master sergeant. He was a veteran, having served in World War II, and was a member of Weir Presbyterian Church. Mr. Weir died Saturday, August 28, 2004.
Survivors include his wife, Doris Jean Weir; one daughter, Jennifer Lynne Gerring; three sons, John W. Weir Jr. , Jeffrey W. Weir and Joseph L. Weir; one brother, B. C. Weir and three grandchildren.

A native of Winston County, Mrs. Foster was a retired chef. She was a member of Union Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. Mrs. Foster died Wednesday, September 1, 2004 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland.
Survivors include three daughters, Anette Foster and Dorene Foster, both of Evanston, Ill. , and Mary Moore of Chicago; four sons, Charles Foster and Eric Foster, both of Jackson, and William Foster and Troy Foster, both of Chicago; her mother, Eldora Miller of Jackson; eight sisters, Lugusta Yarbrough and Frozene Frazier, both of Louisville, Willie Mae Foster of Tacoma, Wash. , Helen Robinson of Chicago, Helen Harris of Memphis, Charlene Phillips of Mobile, Ala. , Marilyn Parks of Augusta, Ga. , and Geraldine Foster of Washington, D. A native of Memphis and resident of Louisville, Mr. Hudson was a retired counselor for vocational and rehabilitation services for the blind. He was a graduate of Mississippi State University and a veteran of the United States Army, having served in World War II. He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Louisville. Mr. Hudson died Wednesday, September 1, 2004 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Joyce Hale Hudson of Louisville; one daughter, Patty Younger of Ridgeland; one son, Mike Hudson of Tuscaloosa, Ala. , and four grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Mae Richardson Lenard, 81, were held at 1 p. m. Saturday, September 4, 2004 at Valhalla Funeral Home Chapel in Birmingham, Ala. The Rev. Mark Gallups officiated. Burial followed in Valhalla Cemetery.
A resident of McCalla, Ala. , Mrs. Lenard was a homemaker. She was a member of Central Park United Methodist Church in Birmingham, Ala. , and was active in the Central Park Community for many years, working with the Central Park School and the little league baseball program. Mrs. Lenard died Wednesday, September 1, 2004.
Survivors include four sons, Howard Richardson, Tom Richardson, Rob Richardson and Mark Richardson; two stepsons, Jeff Lenard and Aaron Lenard; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
