Funeral services for Mrs. Elsie Bane Files, 95, were held at 2 p. m. Friday, September 17, 2004 at Porter Funeral Home in Louisville. The Rev. Phil Gerber officiated. Burial followed in Memorial Park Cemetery in Louisville.
A native of Louisville, Mrs. Files was a homemaker. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Louisville. Mrs. Files died Tuesday, September 14, 2004 at Winston County Nursing Home in Louisville.
Survivors include one daughter, Elaine Jefcoat of Louisville; two sons, Therrell Files of Louisville and Harold Files of Houston, Texas; one sister, Dot Farish of Noxapater; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Mr. Robert Douglas Weber, Jr.

Funeral services for Mr. Robert Douglas Weber, Jr. , 55, were held at 3 p. m. Sunday, September 19, 2004 at Coleman Funeral Home Chapel in Ackerman. The Rev. Gary Jackson officiated. Burial followed in Morgan Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.
A native of Texas and resident of Sturgis, Mr. Weber was a truck driver. He was a veteran, having served in the Vietnam War. Mr. Weber died Thursday, September 16, 2004 at the VA Medical Center in Jackson.
Survivors include one son, Bobby Weber of Elyria, Ohio; his mother, Frances W. Jackson of Sturgis; one brother, Steve Weber of Pascagoula; one sister, Pam Mitchell of Starkville; two stepbrothers, Mike Jackson of Ridgeland and Mark Jackson of Sturgis; one stepsister, Julie Lewis of Maben and his stepfather, Bob Jackson of Sturgis.

Funeral services for Mr. Dan T. Jordan, 78, were held at 2 p. m. Monday, September 20, 2004 at John E. Stephens Chapel in Philadelphia. The Rev. John Stephens officiated. Burial followed in Union Ridge Cemetery in Noxapater.
A native of Rome and resident of Noxapater, Mr. Jordan was a cement finisher. He was a Baptist. Mr. Jordan died Friday, September 17, 2004 at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian.
Survivors include his wife, Dessie M. Jordan of Noxapater; one daughter, Betty Phillips of Noxapater; two sons, Jerry Jordan and Danny Jordan, both of Noxapater; two brothers, Charles Jordan of Indianapolis, Ind. , and W. J. Estes of Salinas, Calif. ; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Ricky Melton, Gary Kelly, Jason Robinson, Larry Winters, John Swindle and Billy Kelly.

Funeral services for Mrs. Lena M. Morris, 86, were held at 11 a. m. Tuesday, September 21, 2004 at Noxapater Baptist Church. The Rev. Wayne Sanders officiated. Burial followed in Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Noxapater.
A resident of Noxapater, Mrs. Morris was a homemaker. She was a member of Noxapater Baptist Church. Mrs. Morris died Saturday, September 18, 2004 at Winston Medical Center in Louisville.
Survivors include two daughters, Dianne Puckett of Noxapater and Cheryl Johnson of Mendenhall; one son, Kenneth Morris of Noxapater; two sisters, Dot Bynum of Jackson, La. , and Louise Thrash of Collins; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Brad Johnson, Chris Johnson, Ken Morris, Dale Pickett, Darrin Pickett and Johnny Myers.

A native of Louisville, Mrs. Bond was an educator. She was a member of St. James AME Church in Milwaukee, WI. Mrs. Bond died on Sunday, July 11, 2004, in the West Jefferson Hospital in New Orleans, LA.
Survivors include her three daughters, Linda Faye Morrow of Hesperia, CA, Belinda Ann McCants of San Antonio, TX, and Petula Shinese Babers of Harvey, LA; eight sisters, Edsel Rash of Milwaukee, WI, Faith Page of Dubach, LA, Mary Howze of Omaha, NE, Norweida Chapman of Laurel, MS, Florine Stewart of McKenzie, TN, Gwendolyn Pratt of Tupelo, MS, LaFrances Evans and Sandra Billups, both of Jackson, MS; four brothers, John H. Robbins of Omaha, NE, Henry Preston Robbins and Truman Robbins, both of Milwaukee, WI, and Henry Clay Robbins, Jr. of Louisville, MS; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A native of Noxubee County, MS, Mr. Russell was a pipefitter for Kellogg, Brown, and Root Construction Co. Mr. Russell died on Sunday, July 11, 2004, in his home near Macon, MS.
Survivors include his daughter, Eppie Faye Russell of Ellisville, MS, his
sister, Mrs. Boyce E. Abston of the Benevola Community in AL, and three brothers, Charles Russell of Shuqualak, MS, Lawrence Russell of Macon, MS, and James Russell of Wahalak, MS.

A native of Louisville, MS, Mrs. Caperton was a homemaker. She was a member of Wesley Southern Methodist Church in Hattiesburg, MS. Mrs. Caperton died on Monday, July 12, 2004, at Bedford Care in Hattiesburg, MS.
Survivors include her two daughters, Claire Williams and Joyce Carter, both of Hattiesburg, MS; her sister, Beryl Wood of Louisville, MS; eleven grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

Perry of Ackerman, MS; four daughters, Peggy Goza, Kay Smith, and Theresa Skinner, all of Ackerman, MS, and Debbie Upchurch of Madison, MS; two brothers, Cordell Dodd of Vaiden, MS, and Calvin Dodd of Kosciusko, MS; two sisters, Lois Buskirk of Louisville, MS, and Diane Bailey of Mantee, MS; and seven grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Ruby C. Hendricks, 90, were held at 1:00 p. m. on Monday, July 19, 2004, at New Haven Baptist Church Cemetery in Weir, MS. Rev. Jim Ballard officiated. Burial followed at the New Haven Baptist Church Cemetery.
A native of McClellan, AR, Mrs. Hendricks was a retired hospital secretary from Ackerman, MS. She was a member of Columbia Avenue Baptist Church in Pontiac, MI. Mrs. Hendricks died on Thursday, July, 15, 2004 at Hope Hospice in Fort Myers, FL, where she was living with her daughter.
Survivors include her three sons, Marlin L Hendricks of Orion Tub, MI, Winston Hendricks of Auburn Hills, MI, and Larry Hendricks of Fort Wayne, IN; her daughter, Mary E. Clines of Fort Myers, FL; two sisters, Oma Mae Fuller of Ackerman, MS, Kathleen G. Jenkins of Weir, MS; eleven grandchildren; and seven grandchildren.

Funeral services for Eddie Harold Wells, 65, were held at 2:00 p. m. on Friday, July 16, 2004, at Mount Pisgah Cemetery in Winston County.
Rev. Tony Tennison officiated. Burial followed in Mount Pisgah Cemetery.
A native of Neshoba County, Mr. Wells was employed as an engineer with the Mississippi Department of Transportation. He was a member of Brandon Assembly of God Church. Mr. Wells died on Wednesday, July 14, 2004 at the Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, MS.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret Wells of Brandon, MS; two daughters, Christine Hester and Carol Wells, both of Brandon, MS; one granddaughter, Jessica Taylor of Gilbertown, AL; two great-grandchildren, Tatum Smith of Mabus, AL, and Trey Taylor of Gilbertown, AL; his mother, Sudie Wells of Noxapater, MS; and one brother, Ray Wells of Noxapater.
Pallbearers were Brent Wells, Richard Walters, Danny Price, Charlie Rushing, Ernie Moore, and Mozelle Price.

Ms. Kathy Krystine Harris

Graveside services for Ms. Kathy Krystine Harris, 19, were held at 1:00 P. M. Saturday, March 4, 2006, at Damascus Cemetery.
A sophomore at East Central Community College, Ms. Harris was majoring in nursing and pre-med and planned to begin nursing school at University of Southern Mississippi in the fall of 2006. She also attended Carden Jackson Private School in Texas, Nanih Waiya Middle School, and Sebastopol High School. Ms. Harris was in the Sebastopol High School Band for four years, playing the French horn and serving as a "flag girl. " She was also talented with the piano and had a unique voice that she loved to use to bring glory to God and put smiles on people's faces. Ms. Harris died in an auto accident early morning Sunday, February 19, 2006, near Carthage, Mississippi.
Survivors include her father C. Stephen Harris; mother, Kathy Whithead; brother, Todd Harris; sister, Melissa Harris; two stepbrothers, Chris and Andy Schubert; two step-sisters, Autumn and Summer Whitehead; and grandmothers, Jewel Harris, Mary Middleton, and Dorothy Robbins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Krystine Harris Memorial Scholarship Fund at Citizens Bank in Sebastopol or to the Humane Society.

Funeral services for Mr. Robert F. Hathorn, 84, were held at 1:00 P. M. Saturday, March 4, 2006, at Friendship Baptist Church in Louisville. Rev. R. D. Harris officiated. Burial followed in Memorial Garden Cemetery.
A native of Winston County, Mr. Hathorn was a retired teacher and businessman. He was a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, a lifetime member of Alcorn Alumni Association, a World War II Veteran, and a deacon and Sunday School teacher at Friendship Baptist Church in Louisville. Mr. Hathorn died Saturday, February 25, 2006, at Regions Hospital at Riley's in Meridian.
Survivors include his wife, Evangeline Hathorn of Meridian; three daughters, Robin Hathorn Brooks of Houston, TX, Angela Hathorn Webb of Meridian, and Tanya Hathorn Kendrick of Birmingham, AL; one son, Tommy F. Funeral services for Mr. Earnest Green, 81, were held at 2:00 P. M. Saturday, March 4, 2006, at Springhill Missionary Baptist Church in Pope, MS. Rev. Stephen Walker officiated. Burial followed in Springhill Cemetery in Pope.
A resident of Louisville, Mr. Green was a retired mechanic for the Corps of Engineers at Enid Lake. He was a member of Springhill Missionary Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and a member of the male chorus. Mr. Green died Sunday, February 26, 2006, at the Winston Medical Center in Louisville.
Survivors include his three daughters, Shirley Eichelberger of Louisville, Velarie Austin of Jackson, MS, and Eloise Williams of Atlanta, GA; one son, Elroy Green of Philadelphia, PA; 13 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
