Funeral Services for Mr. Nadge Coleman, 95, were held at 11:00 a. m. on Saturday, June 12, 2004, at New Zion M. B. Church in Louisville. Rev. John Ball officiated. Burial followed in the New Zion Cemetery in Louisville.
A native of Louisville, Mr. Coleman was a retired laborer. Mr. Coleman died on Saturday, June 5, 2004, in the Care Center Nursing Home in Louisville.
Survivors include his son, J. D. Coleman and his daughter, Mary Dean Coleman, both of Louisville; his two brothers, Elder C. C. Coleman of Robbin, IL and Sam Coleman of Las Vegas, NV; his sister, Evelina Coleman of Crestwood, IL; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Mrs. Dorothy Elijah, 41, were held at 1:30 p. m. on Sunday, June 13, 2004, at Jerusalem Temple Apostolic Church in Philadelphia, MS. Bishop Clifton Jones officiated.
A native of Philadelphia, MS, Mrs. Elijah was a member of Jerusalem Temple Apostolic Church. Mrs. Elijah died on Tuesday, June 8, 2004.
Survivors include her husband, John Elijah of Louisville, MS; her four children, Maxine Moore, Alicia Moore, John Elijah, and Jamal Elijah; four sisters, Doris, Glenda, Ruthnell, and Geraldine; three brothers, Charles Jr. , Dewayne, and Dexstro; one grandson, Dontrell Moore; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Mrs. Helen K. Jakubowicz, 85, were held at 2:00 p. m. on Thursday, June 10, 2004, at Nowell-Tilghman Funeral Home Chapel in Louisville, MS. Father Ryan officiated. Burial followed in Memorial Park Cemetery.
A resident of Louisville, Mrs. Jakubowicz was a housewife involved in child care. Mrs. Jakubowicz died on Tuesday, June 8, 2004, at the Care Center of Louisville.
Survivors include her two daughters, Diane Adamaski and Karen Urso; one sister, Marge LaBerta; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Delver Allen, Carl Black, Larry Brantley, Tom Causey, Charles McAdory, and Paul McAdory.

Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Ann Lanthrip, 61, were held at 11:00 a. m. , on Thursday, June 10, 2004, at Coleman Funeral Home in Ackerman, MS. Rev. Mike Adcock officiated. Burial followed in the Blythe Creek Cemetery.
A native of Yalobusha County, MS, Mrs. Lanthrip was a cosmetologist. She was a member of Blythe Creek Baptist Church. Mrs. Lanthrip died Wednesday, June 9, 2004, at the North Mississippi Medical Center.
Survivors include her husband, Paul Lanthrip Sr. of Mathiston, MS; two sons, Paul Lanthrip Jr. and Todd Lanthrip, both of Mathiston, MS; one daughter, Sue Hellen Wycoff of Napa, CA; and one grandson, Jonathan.
Memorials may be made to the Blythe Creek Cemetery Fund.

Funeral services for Mr. James Beamon Whitten, 82, were held at the Nowell-Tilghman Funeral Home Chapel in Louisville, MS at 3:30 p. m. on Thursday, June 10, 2004. Rev. James Yarbrough officiated. Burial followed in Memorial Park Cemetery.
A native of Louisville, MS, Mr. Whitten was retired from the creosote plant and Taylor Machine Works and a member of Gum Branch Baptist Church. Mr. Whitten died on Wednesday, June 9, 2004, at Winston Medical Center in Louisville, MS.
Survivors include his wife, Charlotte H. Whitten of Louisville, MS; two brothers, Travis Whitten of Louisville, MS, and Troy Whitten of Derma, MS; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers were Danny Cheatham, Keith Collier, Kenny Collier, Tim Smith, Mike Whitten, and Perry Yarbrough.

Funeral services for Mr. Joseph W. Moody, 83, were held at 3:30 p. m. on Saturday, June 12, 2004, at Porter Funeral Home in Louisville, MS. Rev. Doug Herring officiated. Burial followed in Middleton Methodist Cemetery.
A native of Winston County, MS, Mr. Moody was a retired supervisor for Marquette Cement Manufacturing Co. He was an Air Force Veteran of World War II, and a graduate of Mississippi College with a B. S. in Chemistry. Mr. Moody died on Thursday, June 10, 2004, at his home in Tupelo, MS.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Ruth Lovorn Moody of Tupelo, MS; two sons, David Moody of Philadelphia, MS, and Mark Moody of Tupelo, MS; two sisters, Lessie Lowery of Waynesboro, MS and Louise Kirby of Mobile, AL; one brother, A. B. (Buster) Moody of Louisville, MS; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Memorials may be made to Habitat for Humanity in Philadelphia, MS or Green Valley Boys Ranch in Louisville, MS.

Funeral services for Mr. Thomas Ray (T. R. ) Callahan, 63, were held at 9:00 a. m. on Saturday, June 12, 2004, at Coleman Funeral Home in Ackerman, MS. Rev. Mark Mayo and Rev. Bob Mamrak officiated. Burial followed in the Weir City Cemetery.
A native of Winston County, Mr. Callahan was a self-employed paint contractor. He was a veteran of the United States Military. Mr. Callahan died Thursday, June 10, 2004, at the North Mississippi Medical Center.
Survivors include his wife, Sherri Callahan of McCool, MS; two sons, Thomas R. Callahan II. of Weir, MS, and Craig Callahan of McCool, MS; three daughters, Melissa Mize of Prentiss, MS, Jamie Blake of Ackerman, MS, and Christin Turnipseed of Weir, MS; his mother, Ruby Kate Lanthrip of McCool, MS; one brother, Sidney F, Callahan Sr. of Birmingham, AL; one sister, Yvonne Young of McCool, MS; and eight grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mr. Cleo Bouchillon, 85, were held at 3:00 on Sunday, June 13, 2004, at Porter Funeral Home in Louisville, MS. Rev. William Bouchillon and Rev. David Keen officiated. Burial followed in Murphy Creek Cemetery.
A native of Winston County, MS, Mr. Bouchillon was a farmer and carpenter. He was an army veteran of World War II. Mr. Bouchillon died on Friday, June 11, 2004, at the Winston Medical Center in Louisville, MS.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Bouchillon of Louisville, MS; two sons Lawrence Bouchillon and Edward Bouchillon, both of Louisville, MS; three daughters, Lois Goodin of Louisville, Louise Stewart of Louisville, and Dedra Burt of Philadelphia, MS; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mr. Joseph Frank Veloek, 66, were held at 2:00 p. m. on Monday, June 14, 2004, at Coleman Funeral Home in Ackerman, MS. Rev. Gary Jackson officiated. Burial followed in Dacus Cemetery in Choctaw County, MS.
A native of Choctaw County, Mr. Veloek was a former watchman for Hackney, Inc. He was a member of the Huntsville Church of Christ and a veteran of the United States Air Force. Mr. Veloek died on Saturday, June 12, 2004, at the Oktibbeha County Hospital.
Survivors include his wife, Virgie M. Veloek of Stewart, MS; two sons, David Veloek and Jonathon Veloek, both of Stewart, MS; Three Daughters, Melissa McFarland of Laurel, MS, Melissa Prewitt of Ackerman, MS, and Carolyn Veloek of Stewart, MS; two sisters, Eda Mae Bramlett of Natchez, MS and Marion Bramlett of West Point, MS; and two grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mr. Frank Sherrod, 57, were held at 2 p. m. Saturday, July 31, 2004 at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Louisville. The Rev. E. L. Logan officiated. Burial followed in Antioch Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Louisville.
A native of Louisville and resident of Minneapolis, Minn. , Mr. Sherrod worked for Marsden Building Services. He was a member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church. Mr. Sherrod died Thursday, July 15, 2004 at his home in Minneapolis, Minn.
Survivors include three daughters, Angela Clark, Sara Stallman and Doris Sherrod, all of Minneapolis, Minn. ; one son, Nicholas Stallman of Minneapolis, Minn. ; his mother, Sutie Lee Sherrod of Louisville; three brothers, W. D. Sherrod of Louisville, Horace Sherrod of Gary, Ind. , and Tommy Sherrod of Berkeley, Ill. , and two sisters, Everlena Cockrell of St. Louis, Mo. , and Willie Dean Miller of Louisville.
Pallbearers were cousins and friends. Honorary pallbearers were W. D. Sherrod, Horace Sherrod, Tommy Sherrod, Kerry Lampkin, David Lampkin Jr. and Cortez Long.

A native of Louisville, Master Worthy died Monday, July 19, 2004 at University Medical Center in Jackson.
Survivors include his father, Kenneth Worthy of Louisville; his mother, Carolyn Triplett of Louisville; maternal grandmother, Vera A. Triplett; paternal grandparents, Mary D. Worthy and Luther Love and a host of cousins.

Funeral services for Mr. Leonard O'Neal Morris, 86, were held at 2 p. m. Monday, July 25, 2004 at Union Ridge Baptist Church in Noxapater. Burial followed in Union Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery.
A native of Winston County and resident of Jackson, Mr. Morris was a retired railroad worker. He was a member of Masonic Lodge 536. Mr. Morris died Friday, July 23, 2004 at his home in Jackson.
Survivors include two daughters, Sherrill M. Johnson of Jackson and Sylvia Joyce Harrell of Florence; three grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Dr. Danny Purser, 47, were held at 11 a. m. Monday, July 26, 2004 at McClain-Hays Funeral Home in Philadelphia. Dr. Mike Smith and Dr. Paul Blanchard officiated. Burial followed in Pearl Hill Cemetery in Leake County.
A native of Wayside and resident of Philadelphia, Dr. Purser was the pastor of Longino Baptist Church in Philadelphia. A graduate of Neshoba Central High School, he held a doctorate from Covington Theological Seminary in Chattanooga, Tenn. Dr. Purser was a Baptist minister for 26 years and was the former pastor of McDonald Baptist Church in Lena, Peeler Memorial Baptist Church in Kosciusko, Coldwater Baptist Church in Philadelphia, Mt. Nebb Baptist Church in Collinsville and Liberty Baptist Church in Noxapater. He had played with numerous gospel groups. Dr. Purser died Saturday, July 24, 2004 at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy Purser of Philadelphia; three sisters, Margaret Ann Haston, Virginia Purser and Tera Fay Kiester and two brothers, Paul Purser and Rufus Purser.
Pallbearers were Wayne Nance, John Warren, Willis White, Steve Hancock, Dan Nace and Danny Maxey. Honorary pallbearers were John Houston, Jim Houston, Kellis Dees, Bennie Adams, Sam Beckham and Dale Hancock.
