Stephen Michael Overall, 25, of Sarah, passed away July 7, 2016.
He is survived by his son, Carter Michael Overall of Sarah; parents, Billie Hardy (John) of Sarah, and Ricky Overall of Crenshaw; sisters, Katlin Hardy of Sarah, Sarah Elizabeth Overall of Crenshaw, and Brandy Hardy of Gore Springs; brother, Mason Overall of Sarah; grandparents, Linda Burk of Columbus, Billy Butler of Sarah, Jean Overall of Crenshaw, and Jeannette Hardy of Hernando.
Services were held Monday, July 11, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. Burial followed at Longtown cemetery.
D’Lisa Danielle Sanders
D’Lisa Danielle “Dani” Sanders, 48, died May 30, 2016 at Baptist Memorial Hospital, Oxford.
Mrs. Sanders was born
in Arlington, Texas, but lived in Monroe, La. for many years. She was a graduate of Neville High School. She had been employed as an administrative assistant for Bridgestone Corporation.
Survivors include her mother and stepfather, Glynda and Donald Scott of Sarah; two sons, Tyler A. Hoogland and Johnathan R. Hoogland both of Ruston, La.; two daughters, Sydni A. Sanders and Baylie E. Sanders both of Sarah.
Her father, Tony Villanueva, and her brother, Steve Villanueva, both preceded her in death.
There are no plans for a memorial service.
Coleman Funeral Home of Oxford was in charge of arrangements.

Fred Thomas Smith
Fred Thomas Smith, 88, of Senatobia, passed away July 7, 2016, at Baptist Memorial Hospital North Mississippi in Oxford.
He retired from Fred’s, Inc., as Vice President and buyer after 35 years. And he was a veteran of WW II having served in the Army.
He is survived by his wife, June Smith of Senatobia; daughters, Peggy Vinson (Jim) of Batesville, and Alisa Farmer (Stan) of Memphis, Tenn.; son, Charlie Smith (Beth) of Senatobia; grandchildren, Nicholas Smith, Christy Malatesta, Leigh Wochomurka, Cathy Clark, and Elliott Farmer; great-grandchildren, Hayes Wochomurka, Hallie Wochomurka and Peter Malatesta.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elias and Ruby Smith; sisters, Oneida Baddour and Frances Haddad; and brother, Julian Smith.
Memorials may be sent to Coldwater United Methodist Church in Coldwater, where he was a member or to a charity of choice. Services were held Sunday, July 10, at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Pate-Jones Funeral Home in Senatobia. Visitation was held from 1:30-3:00 at the funeral home. Burial followed at Senatobia Memorial cemetery.
Prentis Phyllip Goodwin
Prentis “Pren” Phyllip Goodwin, 30, of Strayhorn, passed away June 19, 2016.
He is survived by his parents, Prentis and Kim Goodwin of Agnos, Ark.; grandmother, Virginia Freiler of Houston, Tenn.; sisters, Kelly Jo Paradis of Strayhorn, Kimberly Kay Lewallen of Longtown, and Amanda McCain of Sardis; and his brother, Billy Lynn Smith of Greenbrier, Tenn.
A visitation was held on Thursday, June 23 at Pate-Jones Funeral Home in Senatobia.
Ollie B. Herron
Ollie B. Herron, 60, of Senatobia, passed away on June 20, 2016. Funeral services were held at Ebenezer M.B. Church in Como on Saturday, June 25 at 12 noon. Burial followed in Ebenezer Church cemetery in Como.
He is survived by his daughter, Pamela Herron of Chicago, Ill.; sisters, Robbie Burton of Malden, Mo., Julie Mae Golden of Senatobia, Juanita Clay of Senatobia, and Jearline H. Herron of Senatobia; brothers, Edward Herron of Senatobia and Byron Herron of Senatobia; and three grandchildren.
Felix Cauthen Funeral Home in Senatobia had charge of the arrangements.
Bill Turner
PEARL — Bill Turner, 63, died Thursday, October 8, 2009, at River Oaks Hospital in Flowood, Miss. Visitation was Friday, October 9, 2009, from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Services were Sunday, October 11, 2009, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, Miss., with burial following in the Leesburg Baptist cemetery. Officiating was the Rev. Byron Howell. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton was in charge of arrangements.
Bill had lived in Pearl since 1982, moving from Leesburg, Miss., and Canton, Miss., and was a member of Leesburg Baptist Church. He was a former truck driver and enjoyed the outdoors and boating. He had worked as a truck broker with Magnolia Truck Brokers in Pearl, Miss., for more than thirty years.
He was preceded in death by his son, Bryan Turner; mother, Jannie T. Grammer; father, Joe Turner; sister, Barbara T. Schrier; brother, Dwight Turner.
He is survived by one son, Mike Turner of Pearl; three sisters, Jennie Sullivan of Canton; Marian Summerlin of Canton, and Lana Turner of Austin, Texas; two brothers, Joe E. Turner and Bobbie E. Turner, both of Brandon; four grandchildren, Cameron Turner, Whitney Turner, Savannah Turner and Kellen Turner.
Pallbearers were Ken Jennings, Clifton Jennings, Jeff Turner, Shane Waltman, Chad Waltman and Cameron Turner.
Honorary pallbearers were Billy Joe Harvey and Bill Roundtree.

MORTON — William G. Liles, 69, died Monday, August 17, 2009, at his residence. Visitation was Wednesday, August 19, 2009, and services were Thursday, August 20, 2009, at 2 p.m., with burial following in the Fuston cemetery in Walnut Grove, Miss.
Officiating was the Rev. Nadine Sims and Rev. Robert Gatewood. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton was in charge of arrangements.

FOREST — Funeral Services for Mrs. Laura Gaskin, 85, and a resident of the Lemon Community in Smith County, were held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, August 26, 2009, at Goodwater Baptist Church, with the Rev. Mike Walker and Rev. Scott Walters officiating. Burial was held in the Goodwater Baptist Church cemetery. Mrs. Gaskin died Sunday, August 23, 2009, at Magee General Hospital in Magee. Ott & Lee Funeral Home of Forest in charge of arrangements.

MORTON — Joe Bierman, 73, died Wednesday, August 19, 2009, at Central MS Medical Center in Jackson. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 22, 2009, at Ott and Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Morton with burial in Morton Memorial Gardens. Visitation was held from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, August 21, 2009, and noon to 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 22, 2009, at the funeral home. The Rev. Paul Smith and Rev. Greg Renfrow officiated the services. Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton was in charge of arrangements.
Mary Brogdon
MORTON — Funeral services for Mary Brogdon, 93, were held on Thursday, August 20, 2009, at 11 a.m. at Colonial Chapel and visitation was held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Colonial Chapel. Internment followed in the Hillsboro Methodist Church cemetery in Hillsboro. She died on Monday, August 17, 2009, at Morton Care Center.
She was a member of Harperville Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Brogdon; parents, Noah and Georgia Jordan Gunter; daughter, Shirley Warren; and two sisters and two brothers.
She is survived by two daughters, Georgia James of Hillsboro, Miss., and Evelyn Thenetia James of Forest, Miss., 11 grandchildren and a host of great-grand nieces and nephews.
Allie Bennett Stout
RIDGELAND -- Mrs. Allie Bennett Stout, 86, a retired business owner and former Ridgeland Postmistress, died Friday, Dec. 24, 1999, of a stroke at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.
Services were held Monday at Parkway Memorial cemetery in Ridgeland. Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home of Ridgeland handled arrangements.
Mrs. Stout had served as Postmistress for Ridgeland from 1935 until 1937. She was the former owner of Mississippi Executive Service. She and her husband, the late Harry W. Stout, were charter members of Broadmoor Baptist Church in Jackson.
A Tallahatchie County native, Mrs. Stout had attended Holmes Junior College. She had been a resident of the Jackson and Ridgeland area for 60 years. She was active in the Baptist Church before her illness.
She was also very active with the Republican Party. She was a member of Concordia.
Survivors include her son, Jerry M. Stout of Ridgeland; sister, Grace Kenney of Baton Rouge, La.; brother, John Baker of Vicksburg; five grandchildren, Carmen, Justin, Pam, Jeremy and Misty; and several nieces and nephews.

Robert Mac "Pete" Johnson
MADISON -- Robert Mac "Pete" Johnson, 56, a former commercial construction superintendent, died Sunday, Sept. 26, 1999, of cancer at his home in Madison.
Services were held Tuesday, Sept. 28, at First Baptist Church in Madison with interment at Natchez Trace Memorial Park cemetery.
A Magee, Miss. native, Mr. Johnson had lived in Madison County for 47 years. During his years as a construction superintendent he supervised the rennovation of the Governor's mansion, the building of the Mississippi State Veteran's nursing home and several buildings on the Belhaven College campus.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Jo Payne of Madison; sons Keith Johnson of Jackson, Rob Johnson of Flowood, Lee Scott Johnson of Madison; mother Myrtis Johnson of Madison and sister Tommie Lee Hart of Dale City, Va.

Pauline Crosswhite
RIDGELAND -- Pauline Crosswhite, 69, a homemaker, died Tuesday, Sept. 28, 1999, of cancer at Baptist Medical Center in Jackson.
Services were held last Thursday at Lakewood Funeral Home in Jackson with interment in Lakewood Memorial Park in Jackson.
A Georgetown native, Mrs. Crosswhite was a Baptist and had volunteered at Jackson area nursing homes.
Survivors include her son, Bill Crosswhite of Madison; daughter, Nancy Fountain of Biloxi; brothers, Preston Dickerson of Huntsville, Ala., and Jerry Dickerson of Corbin, Ky.; sister, Nancy Williams of Yazoo City; and three grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Mississippi Cancer Society.
King Revere Johnson Jr.
MADISON -- King Revere Johnson Jr., 61, a sales manager, died Sunday, Sept. 26, 1999, of cancer at his home in Madison.
Services were held Saturday at St. Philip's Episcopal Church in Jackson with interment in the church columbarium. The Rev. Tom Slawson and Rev. Luther Ott officiated. Mark E. Seepe Funeral Home of Jackson handled arrangements.
A New York City native, Mr. Johnson moved to Memphis, Tenn., as a teen. He attended Catholic High School in Memphis and earned a baseball scholarship to St. Bernard College in Cullman, Ala. After earning his bachelor's degree in history, he did post-graduate work at Memphis State University.
He began his career with St. Regis Paper Co. and continued with Weyerhaeuser in Florence, Ala., and New Orleans, La. He was named sales manager of the Weyerhaeuser plant when it opened in Jackson. He left Weyerhaeuser to form National Pallet Co. in Puckett. At the time of his death, Mr. Johnson served as an independent sales manager for Coastal Tie and Timber, Jones Lumber, Morton Manufacturing, Pallets Inc. and Windmill Manufacturing.
Mr. Johnson was an active communicant of St. Philip's Episcopal Church and participated in the Men's Breakfast Club. He was, with other Philippians, a founder of a poker club which raised money for the Honduras Medical Mission of the Episcopal Church of Mississippi. He was a devoted historian and member of the World War II History Club.
Over his lifetime, he had assembled a large, comprehensive private library dealing with historical subjects. In the month preceding his death, he shared his love of history by donating more than 5, 000 volumes to Millsaps College. In the past, he had donated a substantial number of books to the Brandon Public Library in memory of his son, Michael Johnson.
Survivors include his wife, Hallie Kennington Johnson of Madison; daughter, Patricia Ann Johnson of Phoenix, Ariz.; step-son, Winston Crawford "Ford" Thomas of Nashville, Tenn.; and sister, Mivelaz Johnson Hickey of Nashville, Tenn.

Donald Norman Richardson
RIDGELAND -- Sgt. Major Donald Norman Richardson, Ret. U.S. Army, 52, of Jackson, died Saturday, Oct. 2, 1999, of cancer at Whispering Pines Hospice in Ridgeland.
Services were held Monday at Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home in Ridgleand with interment at Parkway Memorial cemetery with full Military Honors.
A Birmingham, Ala. native, SGM Richardson had made his home in the Jackson area for 17 years. He retired after 24 years of service in the U.S. Army, 17 of those years as recruting command. He received many service ribbons and medals including the Meritorious Service Medal. After his retirement he became vice-president of Professional Building Services.
Survivors include his wife, Jo Ann Richardson of Brandon; sons Christopher Richardson of Jackson and Jonathon Richardson of Jackson; mother Mary L. Richardson of Birmingham, Ala.; brother William Michael Richardson of Birmingham, Ala.; sister Dianne Dawson of Albaster, Ala.; and three grandchildren.
