Jackie Elaine Barnett, 49, stocker at Walmart, of Como, Miss., passed away on January 8, 2014. Funeral services were held at Beulah M. B. Church of Como on January 18 at 12 noon. Interment followed at Beulah M. B. Church cemetery in Como.
She is survived by three daughters, Raven E. Barnett of Como, Keanna S. Barnett of Sardis, and Shakeyvia S. Barnett of Como; five sisters, Emma J. Smith of Coldwater, Sindey J. Hill of Memphis, Tenn., Lola A. Coleman of Sardis, Betty J. Barnett of Como, Jessie M. Barnett of Como, and Johnnie Young of Senatobia; three brothers, Charles E. Barnett of Demoine, Iowa, Grady Barnett of Seattle, Wash., and Robert E. Barnett of Como; and two grandchildren.

Samantha Carol Casey
Samantha Carol Casey, 46, of Senatobia, Miss., passed away January 10, 2014. Services were held Wednesday, January 15, at 11:00 a.m. at Evansville Baptist Church. Burial followed in Flag Lake cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Stephanie Grace Smith.
She leaves her son, Jeremy Grace (April) of Coldwater; her parents Billy Joe and Carolyn Casey of Senatobia; her sister, Lisa Duncan of Coldwater; her brother, Billy Wayne Casey of Senatobia; and her grandchildren, Layton, Emory and Hartley Grace.
Memorials may be sent to Evansville Baptist Church.

Ed Roy Dandridge
Ed Roy Dandridge, 95, of Senatobia, Miss., passed away January 14, 2014 at North Oak Regional Medical Center in Senatobia. Services were held on Thursday, January 16 at 1:00 p.m. at Thyatira Church of Christ. Burial followed in Thyatira cemetery.
Ed was a veteran of WWII having served in the Navy. He was a retired dairyman and cattle farmer and retired from Chromcraft Inc. after 42 years of service as an engineer.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Grace Etoyle Griffin Dandridge; parents C. S. and Ollie Dandridge; and brothers, Hayley C. Dandrige and Jim Dandridge.
He is survived by his sons, Edward C. Dandridge (Faye) of Saint Joseph, La. and Ralph Marlin Dandridge (Shelia) of Senatobia; seven grandchildren; and a host of great grandchildren.
Memorials may be sent to Thyatira Church of Christ where he was a member.

Paul Henry
Paul “Scott” Henry, 60, of Senatobia, Miss., passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at Providence Place in Senatobia. He was a member of Faith Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Bartlett, Tenn. Graveside services were held Saturday, January 18 at Oak Hill cemetery in Selmer, Tenn.
He is survived by one sister, Jeanie Sowell of Coldwater and one brother, Stuart Henry of South Dakota.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Henry and Jean Ragan Henry.
The family has requested memorial contributions be sent to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

Deborah Collier Holland
Deborah Collier Holland, age 50, passed away late Thursday evening, January 9, 2014, at Tri-Lakes Medical Center in Batesville, Mississippi.
A memorial service was held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 15, in Wells Funeral Home Chapel.
Debrorah was a member of the former North Batesville Baptist Church.
Her memory will be cherished by all those who knew her. Those family members she leaves behind include her daughter, Dakota Cheynne Holland of Batesville; her mother, Barbara Bramlett Collier also of Batesville; one sister, Donna Griffin (Mike) of Coldwater, and two brothers, Clay Collier and David Collier (Sandy) both of Sardis.
Doris Houck
Doris Houck, 85, of Holly Springs, Miss., passed away January 9, 2014. Services were held Monday, January 13, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Holly Springs. Burial followed in Hillcrest cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank William Houck, Sr., daughter, Paulette Houck, sons, Robert Alexander Houck, David Anthony Houck, and Daniel Christopher Houck.
She is survived by her daughters, Ann Houck Cissell of Bartlett, Tenn. and Susan Houck Scott of Olive Branch; sons, Frank William Houck, Jr. of Huntsville, Ala., and Joseph Timothy Houck of Coldwater; 19 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
She was a communicant of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Lawrence Lee Sr., 78, retired from the Navy, of Senatobia, Miss., passed away January 10, 2014. Funeral services were held on January 18 at 12 noon at Featherstone AME Church in Senatobia. Interment followed in Middle Tennessee Veteran cemetery.
He is survived by a daughter, Canzetta L. Crite of Senatobia; a son, Lawrence E. Lee Jr. of Nashville, Tenn.; two sisters, Rebecca Farmer and Elizabeth J. Perkins, both of Indianapolis, Ind.; two grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

Douglas R. Manning
Douglas R. Manning, 78, of Batesville, Miss., passed away on Monday, January 13, 2014 at Baptist Memorial Hospital – North Mississippi in Oxford.
He was a member of Faith Holiness Church in Senatobia.
He is survived by his children, Jimmy, Gary, Douglas, Jr., Michael, Daryll and Diane; and five sisters, Shirley Packard, Dovia Huyge, Phyllis Crothers, Peggy Kleinpeter, and Judy Parault.
The family is planning a memorial service at a later date.

Ricky James Oakes, 51, passed away January 13, 2014 at Baptist Memorial Hospital DeSoto. Services were held Saturday, January 18, at 1:00 p.m. at Pate-Jones Funeral Home in Senatobia. Burial followed in Early Grove cemetery in Slayden.
He is survived by his wife, Regina Oakes of Lake Cormorant; daughter, Rebecca Sambola of Senatobia; sons, Joshua Oakes of Lake Cormorant, and Chris Luther of Murphreesboro, Tenn.; father, Woodrow Oakes of Senatobia; mother, Mattie Gwaltney of Panama, Okla.; sisters, Debi Nixon of Okla., Shelia Sloan of Okla., and Patty Oakes of California; brother, Gerald Oakes of Panama, Okla. and his other siblings; and two grandchildren.

Louise Petties, 71, of Senatobia, Miss., passed away January 13, 2014. She is survived by her son, Kenneth Petties of Senatobia; brothers, Robert Petties of Senatobia, R. L. Petties of Atlanta, Ga., Richard Petties of Senatobia, and James Price of Senatobia; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
