WIGGINS - Stella Daughdrill Brown, age 89, passed away Friday, March 18, 2005 at Stone County Hospital in Wiggins.
Mrs. Brown was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Wiggins.
She is preceded in death by one daughter, Betty Cochran and one son, Stanley Daughdrill.
Mrs. Brown is survived by one son, Steve Daughdrill of Antioch, CA; one brother, Bill Broadus of Collins; two sisters, Ida Simmons of Poplarville and Nettie Owens of Lumberton; nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 20, 2005 at Moore Funeral Home Chapel in Wiggins followed by interment in Woodlawn cemetery in Wiggins.
Moore Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Danie C. Dendy
PICKENS, MS - Danie C. Dendy, age 93, passed away Friday, March 18, 2005 at Wesley Medical Center in Hattiesburg.
Mrs. Dendy was a homemaker and a member of Shiloh Presbyterian Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Harry B. Dendy; parents, John and Alice Culipher; one son, John Shelby Dendy; and one brother, John Choice Culipher.
Mrs. Dendy is survived by one daughter, Janet Weaver and husband, George of Wiggins; four sisters, Edna Cauthen of Canton, MS, Irma Musso of Thibodaux, LA, Christine Smith of Birmingham, AL, and Ruth Camp of Mineola, TX; six grandchildren, Deborah White of Madison, MS, Harry Weaver of Upland, CA, Dale Wright of Navarre, FL, Cole Dendy of Durango, CO, Eleanor Lott and Garvin Weaver, both of Wiggins; nine great grandchildren, Jennifer Lott Kaufman of Gulfport, Jeremy Lott of Wiggins, Erin White Sullivan of Jackson, MS, Matthew White of Madison, MS, Abbie Wright of Navarre, FL, Chandler Dendy and Camden Dendy, both of Durango, CO, and Chris Zuhlke and Danielle Weaver, both of Upland, CA; and one great great grandchild, Regan Carrier of Gulfport.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 22, 2005 at Shiloh Presbyterian Church in Pickens, MS followed by interment in Pickens City cemetery in Pickens, MS.
Moore Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

George Stapleton Penston
George Stapleton Penston, 72, of Diamondhead, MS passed away on Sunday, December 24, 2006 in Diamondhead, MS. He was born icon on October 9, 1934 in New London, CT and was a resident of Diamondhead, MS. He was a Veteran having served in the U.S. Coast Guard during the Korea Conflict.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Phillip and Ellen Stapleton Penston; and his brother, Phillip Penston.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Penston of Diamondhead, MS; his 2 sons, George Penston, Jr. of CA; Steven Ricks of Diamondhead, MS; 6 daughters, Candy Lane of CA, Cindy Freeman of GA, Catherine Blum of CA, and Christy Cravens of CA; Belinda Helffrich of GA, Deborah Ricks Clary of Diamondhead, MS, and 21 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Visitation was held Thursday, December 28, 2006 from at Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis, MS A Prayer Service followed Interment and a Graveside Service was held at Biloxi National cemetery in Biloxi, MS.
In Lieu of flowers the family prefers donations toPulmonary Fibrosis Association.

Jesse James Luxich
Jesse James Luxich, 31, of Lakeshore, MS passed away on December 25, 2006 in Lakeshore, MS. He was born icon on May 7, 1975 in Gulfport, MS and was a lifelong resident of Lakeshore, MS. He was of the Catholic Faith. He was called "Big Jes" and he also had a big heart. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
Jesse is survived by his parents, Norvin "Poochie" and Christine Luxich, Sr. of Lakeshore, MS; his brother, Norvin Luxich, Jr. of Lakeshore, MS; and his nephew, Luke Jacob Luxich of Lakeshore, MS and 3 nieces, Destin, Heather, and Taylor Jordan of Lakeshore, MS.
The visitation will be on Wednesday, January 3, 2006 from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm at Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis, MS. A Prayer Service will follow at 1:00 pm at the Funeral Home.
Poochie and Christine would like to invite family and friends to their home on 8067 Dan Drive in Lakeshore after the services.

Neal E. Beckham
WIGGIINS, MS - Mr. Neal E. Beckham, age 63 passed away Monday, November 6, 2006 at Stone County Hospital. Mr. Beckham was of the christian faith, retired inventory specialist for City of Pascagoula and video specialist for Pascagoula High School for over 20 years and Pascagoula High School number one fan.
He is survived by a brother, Sherwood Beckham of Wiggins.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, November 11, 3pm at St. Francis Xavior Catholic Church.
Graveside services will be held Sunday, November 12, 3pm at Greenwood cemetery in Pascagoula, MS.
Moore Funeral Home in Wiggins was in charge of arrangements.

Samuel Tisack
PERRY COUNTY, MS - Mr. Samuel Eugene Tisack, age 58 passed away Saturday, October 14, 2006 at his home in Perry County after a battle with cancer. Mr. Tisack was a native of Lockport, NY and served in the Air Force where he was trained as a flight instructor and he continued his flight career as a private instructor and a commercial pilot for several years afterward. Over his life, Sam had many professions including commercial and residential builder, electrician, hydroponies grower, ship fitter and boat builder. Recreation favorites included painting, photography, sailing and fly-fishing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Frances Tisack of Lockport, NY.
He is survived by wife, Elaine Tisack; daughter, Monica Tisack Kathmann; sisters, Anita Zayac of New York, Candace Walters of Arizona and Claudia Tisack of New York; brothers, Norman, Francis and Anthony Tisack all of New York.
A private memorial was held at his home on Wednesday, October 18, 2006.
Riemann Memorial Funeral Home in Gulfport was in charge of arrangements.

Elsie “Deck” Lott
GULFPORT, MS - Mrs. Elise “Deck” Lott, age 93 passed away Sunday, October 29, 2006 at Garden Park Hospital in Gulfport. Mrs. Lott was formerly of Wiggins; a member of Ten Mile Baptist Church in Wiggins and an homemaker.
She is survived by a daughter, Mildred Sumrall of Gulfport; a son, Willie A. Lott of Perkinston; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and two sisters, Clarice Herring Sardis of Gulfport and Joan McMann of Grand Prairie, TX.
Funeral services were held Friday, November 3, 2006 at Ten Mile Baptist Church with interment that followed at Ten Mile cemetery in Perkinston.
Moore Funeral Home in Wiggins was in charge of arrangements.

SG RET Gordon D. Hardeman
SG RET Gordon D. Hardeman, 79, of Kiln, MS passed away on Monday, December 25, 2006 in Gulfport, MS. He was born icon on December 25, 1927 in Riverside, CA.
He was a Retired Veteran having served in the United States Army during the Korea Conflict and the Vietnam War where he received the Army Commendation Medal (Silver Star), Bronze Star Medal (W/1st Oak Leaf Cluster), Vietnam Campaign Medal (W/60 Device), Vietnam Service Medal (W/3 Campaign Stars), and 2 Overseas Service Bars.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Dottye Francis Hardeman and his parents, Dewitt & Jesse Hardeman.
He is survived by his son, Chris Hardeman and his wife, Beverly of Clarksville, TN; his brother, Tommy Hardeman of Prescott, AZ; and his granddaughter, Patti Gaddes of Nashville, TN.
The Visitation was held Friday, December 29, 2006 at Grace Chapel in Diamondhead, MS and a Memorial Service followed.

Jeffrey Allen Jordan
Jeffrey Allen Jordan, 40, of Kiln, MS passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2006 in Slidell, LA. He was born icon on August 27, 1966 in Huntsville, AL and has lived in Hancock County for the past 37 years.
He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed participating in the Childrens Redo and fishing in tournaments. He was employed by Boh Bros Construction Company as a foreman.
He is preceded in death by his father, William A. Jordan.
He is survived by his 2nd daughters, Christina Jordan of Gulfport, MS and Arielle Jordan of Kiln, MS; mother, Katherine A. Jordan of Kiln, MS; 2 brothers, William A. Jordan & wife, Edie of Kiln, MS, Roger A. Jordan & wife, Rose of Kiln, MS; 2 sisters, Rebecca A. Hornke & husband, Wayne of Kiln, MS, Susan L. Dahl & husband, Virgil of Bay St. Louis, MS; his fiance, Wendy M. Keller of Slidell, LA. His nieces, Angie LaFleur of Waveland, MS, Anna Moss of Bay St. Louis, MS, nephew, Mike Jordan & wife Gloria of Kiln, MS and many other nieces & nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 29, 2006 at Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis, MS and a Prayer Service followed. Interment was in Garden of Memory cemetery in Bay St. Louis, MS.

James A. Evans, Jr.
James A. Evans, Jr. passed away on December 27, 2006, at his home in Covington, LA, as a result of cancer. Jim is survived by of his wife of over 50 years, Mary K. Patrick Evans, his son Tom Evans with wife Karen, of Clemmons, N.C., daughter Catherine Evans of Concord, N.C., and son Scott Evans with wife Michelle of Covington, LA. He is also survived by one grandson and three step-grandsons. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. James A. Evans and Valda Boyd Evans, plus sister, Alice Evans Pitcairn. James A. Evans, Jr. was born icon November 3, 1926, and was raised in Bay St. Louis, MS. He was a Christian and a member of the United Methodist Church. An army veteran of World War II, he served with the 86th Infantry Division in the Philippine Islands.
He was a Mechanical Engineering graduate from Mississippi State University, where he was a member of Kappa Alpha fraternity and the maroon band. A Registered Professional Engineer in LA and MS, he practiced his profession for 44 years until his retirement in 1994. He was a member of the LA Engineering Society and the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers. He was associated with several engineering firms including Weil & Moses, New Orleans, Pitcairn & Co., Pitcairn & Evans of Bay St. Louis, Pan AM World services as well as Johnson Control World Services at the Stennis Space Center.
He had been a member of Bay St. Louis Rotary, Bay-Waveland Yacht Club, Miss. State Alumni Assn, Coast Community Concerts, Hancock County Library Foundation, Gather Ye Rosebuds and a director of Emily De Montiluzin Foreign Language Scholarship.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral on Tuesday, January 2, 2007, at 2:00 p.m., to be held at Main Street United Methodist Church, 162 Main Street, Bay St. Louis, MS. Visitation will take place one hour before the service. Internment will be at Garden of Memories cemetery on Third Street.

LAURIE NECAISE
Laurie "Sally" Moran Necaise, age 66 of Gulfport, passed away on Tuesday, March 13, 2007 in Gulfport.
Mrs. Necaise was a native and life long resident of the Mississippi Gulf Coast and was a member of the Catholic faith. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Martha with Odyssey Hospice.
Mrs. Necaise is preceded in death by her husband, James Necaise and her father, Alton Cuevas.
She is survived by her mother, Lillie Moran Kendrick of Picayune; her five children, Tannia Necaise and her fiance Timothy French of Biloxi, Teresa Necaise and her companion Kenny Ladner of Bay St. Louis, Tracy Necaise and his wife Kim of Pensacola, FL, Terrence Boyd and her companion Ray Border of Gulfport, and Thirrey Adams and her husband Carl of Gulfport; her sister, Betty Kendrick of Picayune; her six grandchildren, Genna Necaise, Courtney Necaise, Aaron Boyd, Amber Boyd, Caitlin Boyd, and Sarah Adams; and many nephews and nieces.
Funeral services were held on Friday, March 16, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at the Riemann family's Gulf Coast Funeral Home, Kiln-DeLisle Road Chapel. Burial was held at Alphonse Malley cemetery in Pass Christian.
