GOODWIN
Calvin M. Goodwin, 66, of Dixon, died July 17, 2003, at his residence in Dixon. He was born on May 1, 1937, at Ruby, Michigan, a son of Frank and Sarah Badgerow Goodwin.
Survivors include his wife: Gisela Goodwin, Dixon; 2 sons: Eric Goodwin and Robert Goodwin; 1 daughter, Sharon Goodwin; 3 brothers: Clarence, Fred and Kenneth Goodwin; 5 sisters: Virgina Atkins, Florence Warsinske, Myrtle Diem, Barbara Sparr, and Gladys May; and 7 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 21, from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. in the Long-Gilbert Funeral Home, Dixon.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, July 21, in the funeral home with Sis. Helen Winters officiating. Interment in the Dixon Cemetery.
KILGORE
Louis Perry Kilgore, 76, Camdenton, MO, died Thursday, July 17, 2003 in Lake Regional Health Systems, Osage Beach, MO.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Kilgore, of the home; two daughters, Paula Ming, Ellis Prarie, MO, Riese Kamine, Linn Creek, MO; two sons, Perry S. Kilgore, Parker AR; James Kilgore, Ellis Prarie, MO; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; one brother, John W. Kilgore, Duesenberg, Germany.
Visitation will be Sunday, 2:00-4:00 p.m. at the Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Monday, at 11:00 a.m. at the Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Aubuchon officiating. Burial will be in the Allee Memorial Gardens Cemetery with full military honors.
RUGEN
Eleanor R. Rugen, 71, California, MO passed away Friday, July 18, 2003 at her home in California, MO.
She was born June 22, 1932 in Sedalia, MO the daughter of Luther John and Marie Martha Motz Wright who preceded her in death. She was married October 14, 1950 in East Sedalia Baptist Church to H. C. Rugen, Jr. who survives at the home.
She was a homemaker and graduated from Smith Cotton High School. She was a former member of Syracuse First Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School teacher for a number of years and was a member of Main Street Baptist Church, California, MO.
Other survivors include 4 sons, Bob Rugen with his wife, Brenda of California, MO, David Rugen with his wife, Brenda of California, MO, Jerry Rugen with his wife, Connie of Camdenton, MO and Ron Rugen of Ashland, MO and 10 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Luther and Walter Wright.
Services will be held at Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services, Monday, July 21, 2003 at 2:00 P. M. Officiating will be Rev. Ken Mathes and Rev. Cy Smith. Burial will be in California City Cemetery.
Visitation will be Sunday, July 20, 2003, 4:00-8:00 P. M. at the funeral home.

CAINE
John J. Caine, 78, Eldon, MO, died July 18, 2003, in Columbia, MO.
He was born Nov. 24, 1924, in New York, NY, a son of John Joseph Caine and Lourene Petty Caine.
He moved to Versailles in 1935, graduated from Versailles High School and from the University of Missouri-Columbia. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the European Theater with the 44th Infantry Division, he was also a recipient of the Purple Heart.
He founded the Eldon Furniture Company in 1948. He married Patricia Ann Robinson on June 28, 1951 in Versailles, Missouri. He then moved to Eldon in 1958. He was first president of the Versailles Country Club, former mayor of Eldon, Missouri for eight years. He was a member and past president of the Eldon Lions Club, former president of the Eldon Development Corporation, member and former chairman of the Miller County University of Missouri Alumni Association, honorary member, and past president of the Lake Regional Health System Board of Directors. He was an Eagle Scout with three palms, member of the Citizen's Bank of Eldon Board of Directors and recipient of the Eldon Chamber of Commerce Distinguished Citizen. He was a member of the Eldon United Methodist Church.
Survivors include: his spouse, Patricia Ann Caine, of the home; sons and daughters in laws, John and Brenda Caine and Richard and Tami Caine, both of Eldon, Missouri; five grandchildren, Natalie, Adam, Erin, Emily and Joe Caine, all of Eldon, Missouri; brother and wife, William and Nona Caine, Versailles, Missouri; sister in law, Betty Shuppert, Eldon, Missouri; brother in law and wife, Robert G. and Pat Robinson, Versailles, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 PM Sunday, July 20, 2003, at Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon, Missouri.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Monday, July 21, 2003, at Eldon United Methodist Church, Eldon, Missouri. The Rev. Michael Keith will officiate. Burial will be in Eldon City Cemetery, Eldon, MO.
Memorials are suggested to Lake Regional Health System Auxiliary or Miller County University of Missouri Alumni Association.
JENKINS
Mrs. Eula O. Jenkins, age 88 years, of Jefferson City, Mo., died Friday, July 18, 2003 at the Oak View Living Center.
Mrs. Jenkins was born August 13, 1914 at Henley, Mo. the daughter of Finnis and Bertha Fisher Russell, both deceased. She was married on June 21, 1934 at Jefferson City, Mo. to Tandy Jenkins who preceded her in death on November 19, 1976.
A life-long resident of the central Missouri area, Mrs. Jenkins attended school in rural Cole County, Mo.
A homemaker, she had been employed by the Missouri Department of Revenue for several years prior to her retirement in 1976.
She was a member of the Capital City Christian Church.
Survivors include: one daughter: D'Ann Uptegrove and her husband Allen, of Jefferson City, Mo.; one brother: Earl Russell of Henley, Mo.
Graveside services and interment will be conducted at 10:30 AM Monday at the Eldon City Cemetery, Eldon, Mo.
Friends may call at the Freeman Mortuary from 9:30 until 10:00 AM Monday.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Freeman Mortuary.
KILGORE
Louis Perry Kilgore, 76, Camdenton, MO, died Thursday, July 17, 2003, in Lake Regional Health Systems, Osage Beach, MO.

Funeral services for Louis Perry Kilgore will be Monday, July 21, 2003, at 11:00 AM in the Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Aubuchon officiating. Burial will be in the Allee Memorial Gardens Cemetery with full military honors. Under the direction of the Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, visitation will be Sunday, 2-4 PM in the funeral home. LIPSKOCH
Harvey John Lipskoch, 86, of Mt. Sterling, died Friday, July 18, 2003 on his home place.
He was born October 15, 1916 near Mt. Sterling to Hermann and Lydia (Leimkuehler) Lipskoch. He married Margaret gove of Hope, MO on May 24, 1939.
He is survived by his wife Margaret and four children, Verla Jean and husband Ted Pringle of Dadeville, MO; Margaret Ann and husband Kenneth Schweer of Bolivar, MO; Harvey Kenneth Lipskoch and wife Susan of Hailey, Idaho and Wanda Darlene and husband John Reynolds of Springfield, MO; 13 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by 2 brothers, Walter Lipskoch of Cuba, MO and Virgil Lipskoch of Owensville, MO; 3 sisters, Emma Carey of Melbray, CA, Rachel Ruegge of Bethalto, IL and Ruth Stanfield of Ballwin, MO. Also, several nieces, nephews, and many friends and family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 sister Myrtle Miller, 1 brother Fred and 1 grandson Kendall Schweer. Mr. Lipskoch met Jesus Christ as his personal Saviour at the age of 12, was baptized and a member of Pinoak Creek Baptist Church, later becoming a member at Liberty Bible Baptist Church at Freedom (Linn area). Mr. Lipskoch was a devoted family man who chose as his life verse Joshua 24:15.."As For Me And My House, We Will Serve The Lord."
He was a farmer and sold seed corn in the surrounding area.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 22, 2003 at 10 A.M. at The Liberty Bible Baptist Church with Les Lipskoch, Brother Andy Krebs and Brother Robert Eberle officiating.
Burial will be at Giedenhagen Cemetery near Mt. Sterling. Visitation will be today, July 21, 2003, 6-8 p.m. at Morton Funeral Home, Linn. Memorials are suggested to Liberty Bible Baptist Church for missions.
MEIER
Robert Clarence George Meier, 73, of Jefferson City died Saturday, July 19, 2003 at Capital Region Medical Center.
He was born August 19, 1929 in Jefferson City, a son of William Andrew and Henrietta Sommerer Meier. He was a graduate of Jefferson City High School. He was married January 18, 1959 in Jefferson City to Mary Evelyn Nieteidt, who preceded him in death on December 16, 1994.
He served in the United States Army during the 1950's. He was a farmer, and was a carpenter with Viet and Hoelscher Construction, Clarence Viet Construction, and later was self employed. He also worked for Roark Aluminum and the Jefferson City Public Schools until his retirement. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.
He is survived by two sons, Roger L. Meier and Dean T. Meier of Jefferson City; one sister, Lydia Goldammer of Jefferson City, and several nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by four sisters and two brothers.
Friends will be received from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the HOUSER-MILLARD Funeral Directors - Jefferson City Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 22, 2003 at Immanuel Lutheran Church with Rev. Russell Bowder officiating. Interment with military honors will follow in the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church or a charity of the donor's choice. YOAKUM
Simon Herbert Yoakum, Sr., 79, of Dixon, died July 19, 2003, in the Capital Region Medical Center, Jefferson City.
He was born July 13, 1924, in Maries County, a son of Jesse and Edith Fritchey Yoakum.
He was married to Inez Yoakum, who preceded him in death. He was later married to Melanie Bowen at Dixon on September 1, 1993.
He served in the CCC Camp for 2 years. He was a self employed carpenter and farmer all his working life.
Survivors include: his wife, Melanie Yoakum; 6 sons, Ralph, Clifty, Simon, Jr., George, Robert, and Trent Yoakum; 3 daughters, Faye Dunlap, Roberta Juergens, Rhonda Yoakum; 2 brothers, Willard Yoakum and Willie Yoakum; 2 sisters, Martha Messersmith and Evelyn Blankenship; 27 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11 A.M. Tuesday, July 22, 2003, at the New Salem Baptist Church, Dixon, with Rev. Charles Pentecost officiating. Interment will be in the Williams Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M. Monday, July 21, 2003, in the Long-Gilbert Funeral Home, Dixon.
GARRISON
Joan P. Garrison, 93, of Montreal, MO, died Saturday, July 19, 2003, in Lake Regional Health Systems, Osage Beach, MO.
She is survived by one daughter: Shirley Knapp, of Montreal, MO; a granddaughter: Debbie Franklin, of Camdenton, MO; five nieces and three nephews.
Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 22, 2003, at the Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 23, 2003, in the Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Charles Pitts officiating. Burial will follow in the Freedom Cemetery.
