CLINGMAN
Lovenia A. Clingman, 83, Mokane, died April 22, 1999, at Riverview Nursing Center, Mokane.
She was born Jan. 21, 1916, in Rhineland, a daughter of Henry W. and Mary E. Winkelman Koenig. She was married May 8, 1935, to Arvel L. Clingman, who survives at the home.
She was a member of St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church, Mokane, and worked as a cook for the Riverview Nursing Center for many years.
Other survivors include: three sons, Carl E. Clingman, Mokane, Jerry D. Clingman, Steedman, and Arthur L. Clingman, Mokane; two sisters, Gertrude Hockmeyer and Leona Whyte, both of Fulton; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
One daughter, Juanita M. Gordon, died June 15, 1990.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at Maupin Funeral Home, Fulton. Burial will be in Mokane Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today, with a wake service at 7:30 p.m.
Memorials are suggested to the St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church.
FRANKLIN
Clarence Franklin, 90, Linn Creek, died April 23, 1999, at Lake Ozark General Hospital, Osage Beach.
He was born April 11, 1909, in Linn Creek, a son of Leonard C. and Ava Anderson Franklin. He was married April 14, 1929, in Brumley, to Ruby Fudge, who survives at the home.
He was a farmer and a member of Freedom Church of Christ, Linn Creek.
Other survivors include: one son, J.C. Franklin, Linn Creek; five brothers, Jewell Franklin, Jim Franklin and Lee Franklin, all of Linn Creek, Sam Franklin, Buffalo, and Richard Franklin, Richland; three sisters, Bessie Dickerson, Kansas City, Donna Harlan, Buffalo, and Edith Sullens, Los Angeles, Calif.; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Freedom Church of Christ, Linn Creek.
Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. today.
Memorials are suggested to Freedom Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Hedges Funeral Home, Camdenton.
GLENN
Donald Glenn, 48, Vichy, died April 23, 1999, near Vichy, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
He was born July 6, 1950, in St. Louis, a son of David and Eunice Haynie Glenn. His parents survive in Vichy.
He served in the Army and was a member of Lanes Prairie Lodge 531 A.F. & A.M., Vichy. He worked for Mike Southard, Inc. General Construction in Rolla.
Other survivors include: one son, Robert Glenn, St. Louis; paternal grandmother, Flossie Glenn, Vienna; and maternal grandmother, Ethel Kirkendall, Pocahontas, Ark.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, Vienna. The Rev. Karen Alden will officiate. Burial will be in Ozark Memorial Gardens, Rolla.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today, with Masonic services at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will also be from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Sunday.
Memorials are suggested to the Vichy Volunteer Fire Department, Vichy.
RENNER
Harold F. Renner, 77, Camdenton, died April 23, 1999, at Ozark Care Center, Osage Beach.
He was born July 23, 1921, in Detroit, Mich., a son of Armin and Adele Remmert Renner. He was married Oct. 4, 1943, in Tucson, Ariz., to Beatrice Bovensiep, who survives at the home.
He was a manager of a telephone company and served in the Air Force during World War II.
Other survivors include: one son, James Renner, Henryetta, Okla.; one daughter, Barbara Chaffin, Camdenton; and seven grandchildren.
One son preceded him in death.
Private family services will be at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of Allee-Reed Funeral Home, Camdenton.
MOSER
Ruth Beryl Moser, 82, Fortuna, died April 24, 1999 at Capital Region Medical Center.
She was born Sept. 29, 1916, in Tipton, a daughter of Edward F. and Ethel Teresa Cope Vogel. She was married April 11, 1937, to Harold S. Moser, who died Aug. 27, 1960.
She taught school and owned and operated a retail feed store. She was a member of the Bethel Mennonite Church near Fortuna.
Survivors include: one daughter, Jerilyn Miller, Latham; three brothers, Edward Vogel, Tipton, William Vogel, California, and George Vogel, Eldon; one sister, Sybil Coffelt, Tipton; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Bethel Mennonite Church. The Rev. Tom Voth will officiate. Burial will be in the Bethel Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday at Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home, Versailles.
Memorials are suggested to the Bethel Mennonite Church.
SHEWELL
Services were conducted Saturday for Betty Elizabeth Shewell, 82, Coffeyville, Kan., who died April 21, 1999, at Villa Marie Skilled Nursing Facility in Jefferson City.
She was born May 10, 1916, in Coffeyville, Kan., a daughter of Walter I. and Edith Ianthe Zimmerman Todd. She was married July 25, 1939, in Bentonville, Ark., to Kenneth Abra Shewell Jr., who preceded her in death.
She taught school for 38 years and earned a doctorate in psychological counseling from the University of Tulsa. She was a charter member of several organizations, including the American Association of School Psychologists, a held life memberships in a number of groups, including Pittsburg State University Alumni Association. She held many professional offices on the state and regional level and was a member of the Head Start board of directors, among others. She was a long-time member of First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include: one daughter, Elizabeth "Betsy" Pauzauskie, Jefferson City; and three granddaughters.
Services were conducted in the Ford-Wolf-Bruns Edgewood Chapel with burial in Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, both in Coffeyville.
Memorials were suggested to the Coffeyville Public Library.
FRAZER
Services were Sunday for Frederick Harry Frazer, 62, New Bloomfield, who died April 22, 1999, at St. Marys Health Center.
He was born Dec. 9, 1936, in Jersey County, Ill., a son of Herbert L. and Ada Brockmeyer Frazer. He was married July 4, 1956, to Ruthann Trask, who survives at the home.
A former resident of Jerseyville, Ill., he farmed in Jersey County and was employed at Owens Illinois Glass Co. until 1983. He worked at Union Electric Callaway Nuclear Plant until his retirement in 1993.
Other survivors include: four daughters, Kimberly Renee Vanausdoll, Arthur, Ill., Katherine Towell, Jerseyville, Vicky Jane Tighe, New Bloomfield, and Rita Faye Frazer-Niehaus, Raymond, Ill.; one brother, Marvin Frazer, Jerseyville; seven grandchildren and four step grandchildren.
One grandson and one granddaughter preceded him in death.
Services were held at Crawford Funeral Home, Jerseyville. Burial was in Oak Groves Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to the Shriners' Hospital for Crippled Children, St. Louis.
CREWS
Betty Nadine Crews, 74, Eldon, died April 25, 1999, at Hospice of Jefferson City and Mid-Missouri.
She was born June 12, 1924, in Kansas City, a daughter of Alfred L. and Clara Mae Bale Truitt. She was married Dec. 14, 1941, to Howard Crews, who died Oct. 5, 1987.
Survivors include: one son, Michael Crews, Oak Park, Ill.; two sisters, Lois Ogle and Ann Caffrey, both of Lebanon; three brothers, Merle Truitt, Kansas City, Kan., Bob Truitt, Linn Creek, and Larry Truitt, Fresno, Calif.; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Brevard Memorial Park Cemetery, Coco Beach, Fla.
Arrangements are under the direction of Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home.
GUY
Theodore Wilson Guy, 70, Sunrise Beach, died April 23, 1999, at St. Marys Health Center.
He was born April 18, 1929, in Chicago, a son of Theopholus W. and Edwina LaMonte Guy. He was married Oct. 18, 1973, to Linda Bergquist, who survives at the home.
A 1949 graduate of Kemper Military College, he served as a pilot in the Air Force until his retirement in 1973 as a colonel. A veteran of the Korean and Vietnam wars, he received a Silver Star, the Distinguished Service Medal, the Distinguished Flying Cross, the Air Medal and a Purple Heart. He was a POW for five years in Laos and North Vietnam.
After his retirement from the Air Force, he became National Adjutant for the Order of Daedalians.
In 1977, he became associated with TRW, assigned to Iran as Senior Tactical Adviser to the Commander, Iranian Tactical Air Command.
He was a member of St. George Episcopal Church, Camdenton.
Other survivors include: two sons, Ted Guy Jr. and Michael Guy, both of Phoenix; two stepdaughters, Elizabeth Thannum, Los Angeles, and Katherine Roth, Chicago; one brother, Donald Guy, state of Alabama; and three grandsons.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Friday at St. George Episcopal Church. The Rev. Tim Coppinger will officiate. The remains were cremated. Inurnment, with military honors, will be at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Va.
Memorials are suggested to the Leukemia Society of America.

WILSON
Marjorie T. Wilson, 82, Camdenton, died April 21, 1999, at Balanced Care South, Lebanon.
She was born April 11, 1917, in Grundy County, Iowa, a daughter of Kenneth and Lois Hiatt. She was married Nov. 22, 1939, to John R. Wilson, who survives at the home.
She attended high school in Boone, Iowa, and had lived in Wheaton, Ill.
She was a 1939 graduate of the University of Iowa, Iowa City. She was a registered nurse.
Other survivors include: two sons, Marc Alan Wilson, St. Paul, Minn., and John Roger Wilson, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada; one sister, Arlene Bowen, Richardson, Texas ; one brother, Stanley Hiatt, Plano, Texas and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one infant son, Craig Edward Wilson.
Services will be at 7 p.m. Friday at United Methodist Church, Camdenton. The Rev. Marc Magana will officiate. Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery, Boone.
