David Stephen Donahue, 61, of Marshall, MO, died Sunday, May 26, 2013 at The Living Center in Marshall.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, June 3, 2013 at Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall with William W. Harlow officiating. Friends may call after 8:00 a.m. Monday at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Marshall Habilitation Center.
Born July 17, 1951, in Kansas City, MO, he was the son of the late Stephen Donahue and Adelaide Mitchell Donahue. He had lived in Marshall most of his life and enjoyed going on drives.
Survivors include two sisters, Janet Donahue of Kansas City, MO and Margaret Krupp of Springfield, VA.
Kenneth B. Van Arsdale

Kenneth B. Van Arsdale, 99, of rural Arrow Rock, MO, died Tuesday, May 21, 2013, at Big Bend Retreat in Slater, MO.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 23, 2013, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, with Pastor Jack Thomas officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial with military rites will be in Arrow Rock Cemetery. Born September 11, 1913, in Arrow Rock, he was the son of the late Gene Van Arsdale and Mae Diggs Van Arsdale. On July 11, 1936, he married Thelma L. Willbanks who preceded him in death on May 12, 2006. He had lived in the Arrow Rock community the last 30 years, moving from Kansas City, MO. He was an airline pilot for Transamerica Airlines and retired from the Federal Aviation Administration. He was a member of Zion United Church of Christ in Arrow Rock and the National Association of Retired Federal Employees. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of World War II.
Survivors include one sister, Veva who lives out of state; a sister-in-law, Belva Humburg of rural Arrow Rock; several nieces and nephews; and special friend, Mary Hutton of Slater.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by one sister, Mildred Conley; and four brothers, Howard, Forest, Johnny and Earl Van Arsdale.
Marion H. Klausing
July 31, 1926 - May 20, 2013
Marion H. Klausing, 86, of Marshall, MO, died Monday, May 20, 2013, at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 24, 2013, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, with Fr. Kevin Gormley officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home Burial with military rites will be in Mt. St. Mary’s Cemetery in Shackelford. Memorials may be made to the Saline Animal League.
Born July 31, 1926, in Carrollton, MO, he was the son of the late Henry Klausing and Elsa Engleking Klausing. On June 30, 1949, he married Rosemary Gramlich who preceded him in death on March 18, 2010. He had lived in Marshall most of his life and retired from Marshall Municipal Utilities as light plant superintendent. He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church. He served in the U.S. Navy and was a member of Malta Bend American Legion Post 558.
Survivors include one daughter, Diane Zupanci and husband Chris of rural Malta Bend, MO; two grandchildren, William Black and Rachel Klausing; one great-grandson, Jerron Tatum, Jr.; and one brother, Lawrence Klausing of Peoria, IL.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by one brother, H.W. Klausing.
SFC Trenton L. Rhea
October 12, 1979 - May 15, 2013
SFC Trenton L. Rhea, 33, of Kansas City, MO, died Wednesday, May 15, 2013 in Kandahar, Afghanistan, during combat operations while serving with the United States Army 603rd Military Police Company, United States Army Reserve, Belton, MO.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 25, 2013 at First United Methodist Church-Celebration Center, 1701 W 32nd St, Sedalia, MO 65301, with Dr. Rusty Savage officiating. Burial with full military rites will be in Blackwater Chapel Cemetery, south of Sweet Springs. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to family choice.
Trent was born October 12, 1979 in Hays, KS, to Marshall Rhea, who survives of Oakley, KS and Rebecca Breeden Rhea, who survives of Colby, KS. He was a 1998 graduate of Oakley High School and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in History from the University of Central Missouri. On April 22, 2006, he married Leah Reid who survives of the home. Trent lived in the Kansas City area the last several years and was a United States Army Reservist with the 603rd Military Police Company out of Belton, MO for the last 12 years, currently deployed in Kandahar, Afghanistan. He also served as a Research Analyst for the United States Army's Human Terrain System, based out of Ft. Leavenworth, KS, and was a life member of the V.F. W. Trent had an amazing faith and trust in God, and was a member of Platte City First Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife, Leah Reid Rhea of the home; and his parents, Marshall Rhea (Julie), and Rebecca Breeden Rhea; he is survived by his three daughters: Autumn Lee Rhea, Joanna Lynn Rhea, and Abigail Christine Rhea; twin brother, Travis Rhea of Ft. Collins, CO; sister, Samantha Repshire of Oakley, KS; step-brother, Jody Kruse of Oakley, KS; step-sister, Jade Kruse of Oakley, KS; paternal grandmother, Eileen Rhea of Oakley, KS; maternal grandfather, Kenny Breeden (Shirley) of Stockton, KS; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Harlan and Lynn Reid of Sweet Springs, MO; as well as aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a multitude of friends and fellow comrades.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Harold Rhea; maternal grandmother, Pat Breeden; and his step-brother, Jance Kruse.

Anna Ruth Wigington

Anna Ruth Wigington, 43, of Slater, MO, died Thursday, March 7, 2013 at her home.
Memorial graveside services will be held at a later date in Concord Cemetery, near Saline City. Memorials may be made to family choice in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home.
Born December 15, 1969 in Gulfport, MS, she was the daughter of the late Tommy Wigington and Gracie M. Swann Wigington who survives of Slater. She was married to Russell Woods who also survives. She had lived in Slater since 2003, moving there from Mississippi, and was a homemaker.
Additional survivors include one daughter, Holly Wigington of Slater; two grandchildren; two sisters, Tommie Cunningham and Francis Strange, both of Slater; one brother, Robert E. Harris of Meridian, MS; maternal grandmother, Katie Raybourn of Slater; as well as aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father and one nephew.
Elsie Marilyn Scott

Elsie Marilyn Scott, 77, of rural Blackburn, MO, formerly of Waverly, MO, died Saturday, March 9, 2013, at Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence, MO.
Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 12, 2013, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Concordia, with William W. Harlow officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Waverly City Cemetery. Memorials may be made to The Lutheran Good Shepherd Home in Concordia.
Born August 13, 1935, in Central City, KY, she was the daughter of the late Howard Ray Miller and Rainey Lee Mason Miller. On July 23, 1971, she married Claude Scott who preceded her in death on June 20, 2008. She had lived in Waverly most of her life.
Survivors include her children, Charleen Harris of Ridgeway, MO, Keenan Fields and wife, Mary Ann Fields of Central City, KY and Becky Burke and husband, Jason Burke of rural Blackburn; six grandchildren, John Harris and wife, Erin Harris, Brandy Harper and husband, Dr. Dustin Harper, Kristopher Fields, Katie Butcher, Nick Lageman and Kyler Burke; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one sister, Rosie Crawford.
Lyndsey Michelle Brandt

Lyndsey Michelle Brandt, 33, of Columbia, MO, formerly of Marshall, MO, died Friday, March 8, 2013, at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 12, 2013, at the First Christian Church in Marshall, with William W. Harlow officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. Monday at the church. Burial will be in Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall. Memorials may be made to the Saline Animal League in Marshall or R.A.I.N. in Columbia in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall.
Born September 19, 1979, in Sedalia, MO, she was the daughter of Daniel Walter Brandt and Laura Lynn Decker Brandt. She was a 1998 graduate of the Marshall High School and a 2002 graduate of the University of MO-Columbia with a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing. She was an RN/Case Manager for R.A.I.N. in Columbia.
Survivors include her mother, Laura Brandt of Crete, NE and her father and stepmother, Dan and Cindy Brandt of Marshall; two sisters, Ali Brandt and Cassie Scheib and husband Marc and their children, Lucas, Nicholas and Mya; maternal grandmother, Joan Decker of Marshall; paternal grandmother, Helen Brandt of Marshall; paternal grandparents, Joe and Darlene Staton of Slater, MO; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and her cats, Truman and Buster.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Max L. Decker; paternal grandfather, Henry E. (Hank) Brandt; and uncle, Bobby Decker.
