Harry L. Clouser, Sr., 82, of Marshall, MO, died Friday, January 25, 2008, at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.
Memorial services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday, January 28, 2008, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall with William W. Harlow officiating. Burial with military rites will be in Union Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Union Cemetery or Fitzgibbon Cancer Center.
Born October 3, 1925, in Harrisburg, PA, he was the son of the late Roy T. Clouser and Ella Elizabeth Sponsler Clouser. On February 16, 1985, he married Lucy Bacon Utlaut who survives of the home. He had lived in Marshall since 1959 and was owner/operator of Clouser Auto Electric. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and retired from the Missouri Army National Guard. He was a member of Malta Bend American Legion Post 558 and V.F.W. Post 2646 in Marshall. .
Additional survivors include two sons, Harry Clouser Jr. and wife Carol of Burleson, TX and Mike Clouser and wife Gayle of Marshall; one daughter, Mary Crowder and husband Cyrus of Coatesville, PA; one step-daughter, Donna McCord and husband Jim of Marshall; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; one sister, Katharine McCleary of Jersey Shore, PA; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters and five brothers
Millicent Greer Roscher

Millicent Greer Roscher, 83, of rural Sweet Springs, MO, died Friday, January 25, 2008, at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall, MO.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, January 28, 2008, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Sweet Springs with Rev. Dan Wing officiating. Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 3:30 Sunday at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Sweet Springs.
Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Sweet Springs. Memorials may be made to Sweet Springs Library or family choice.
Born April 13, 1924, in Longwood, MO, she was the daughter of the late John Wesley Greer and Kathinka Gray Greer. On June 5, 1948, she married Leland F. Roscher, Sr. who preceded her in death on February 28, 1983. She was a graduate of Longwood High School and attended Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg. She was a teacher and farm wife. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Sweet Springs and Marshall Chapter DAR.
Survivors include one son, Leland (Corky) Roscher, Jr. and wife Ruth of rural Sweet Springs; one daughter Kay Knipmeyer and husband Jerry of rural Sweet Springs; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Jane Gray Walk of Sedalia, MO and Mary Weymuth of Cole Camp, MO; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one sister and one brother.
William Harold (Bill) Neece

William Harold (Bill) Neece, 87, of Sweet Springs, MO, died Thursday, January 24, 2008, at Sweet Springs Villa.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 29, 2008, at First Christian Church in Sweet Springs. Rev. Susan Smith-Allen and Rev. Randy Shannon will officiate. Masonic services will be held at 6:00 p.m. Monday at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Sweet Springs with visitation following from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Burial with military rites will be in Fairview Cemetery in Sweet Springs. Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church, Barbee Lodge No. 217 A.F. & A.M. in Sweet Springs or Alzheimer’s Association.
Born June 18, 1920, in Eaton, CO, he was the son of the late Wathel Neece and Tresa Nieman Neece. On July 11, 1942, he married Georgia Mae Lemmons who preceded him in death on October 5, 2004. He retired as a major in the U.S. Air Force in July of 1962 with more than 22 years of service and served during the Korean Conflict and World War II. He was the recipient of the Purple Heart, Bronze Star and several other distinguished service medals. He had lived in Sweet Springs since 1962, worked at the General Motors Leeds Plant for 10 years and also worked as a self-employed carpenter. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Sweet Springs. He was a member of Barbee Lodge No. 217 A.F. & A.M. where he served as Worshipful Master for several terms and also served as Worshipful Grand Master of the 24th Masonic District. He was a member of the Eastern Star where he served as Worthy Patron. He was also a member of American Legion Post 279 in Sweet Springs.
Survivors include one son, Jack Neece and wife Linda of Kansas City, MO; one daughter, Willa Mae Vaught and husband Francis (Frany) of Sweet Springs; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by one sister, Bea Seifner, and
two brothers, Faunt Neece and Charles Neece.
Lucy J. Dowling Lageman

Lucy J. Dowling Lageman, 86, of Waverly, MO, died Wednesday, January 23, 2008, at Apple Ridge Care Center in Waverly.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 25, 2008, at Bosworth Baptist Church in Bosworth, MO with Rev. Pat Gorsett officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Friday at the church. Burial will be in Big Creek Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or Family Choice c/o Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall.
Born September 15, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Grover and Eva Mae Maudlin. She was married to Henry Michael Dowling who preceded her in death and was then married to Elgar Lageman who preceded her in death as well. She had lived in the Bosworth area most of her life, living in Waverly the last several years. She was a homemaker and farmed with her husband Henry for many years.
Survivors include one daughter, Delores Siefkas and husband Freddie of Brunswick, MO; one son, John Dowling and wife Rita of Wellsville, KS; one step-son, Dale Lageman and wife Mary of Waverly; two step-daughters, Wilda Edgerton of Sun City, AZ and Thelma Mangels of Bettendorf, IA; five grandchildren along with several step-grandchildren, great and great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Delores Estes of Bosworth; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
Virginia F. Rehkop

Virginia F. Rehkop, 89, of Blackburn, MO, died Wednesday, January 23, 2008, at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 28, 2008, at St. Paul United Church of Christ in Blackburn with Rev. Glenn Nowack officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Monday at the church. Burial will be in Blackburn Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association c/o Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall.
Born July 28, 1918, in rural Nelson, MO, she was the daughter of the late Everett Townsend and Janie Imogene Hogge Townsend. On December 4, 1937, in St. Joseph, MO, she married Harry William Rehkop, Sr. who preceded her in death on February 15, 1985. She had lived in Saline County her entire life with living a majority of it in the rural Blackburn area. She was a 1935 graduate of Boonville High School and attended Central Missouri State Teachers College in Warrensburg. She was a rural school teacher in Saline County and then worked at the Marshall Habilitation Center until her retirement. She was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, the LA-Saline Extension Club and was a lifetime member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include two sons, Everett W. Rehkop and wife Donna of rural Blackburn and Harry W. Rehkop, Jr. and wife Helen of Blackburn; two daughters, Jean Edwards and husband Robert Jr. of rural Malta Bend, MO and Dorothy Bremer and husband David of Manchester, MO; 16 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three grandchildren, one brother, one sister and one nephew.
Alice Anne Shelnutt

Alice Anne Shelnutt, 92, of rural Malta Bend, MO, died Tuesday, January 22, 2008, at Ashland Healthcare in Ashland, MO.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 26, 2008, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall with William W. Harlow officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Union Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Union Cemetery or the Alice Anne Shelnutt Scholarship Fund of Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity.
Born June 10, 1915, in Blosser, MO, she was the daughter of the late Irvine E. Blosser, DVM and Alice B. (Allie) Lantz Blosser. She had lived in rural Malta Bend her entire life, loved to play bridge and belonged to numerous organizations. She was the house mother for Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity at the University of MO-Columbia for 17 years.
Survivors include one daughter, Lois Harriman of Ashland; two granddaughters, Elaine Clouser of Ashland and Jeanine Davis and husband Mike of Holts Summit, MO; two great-granddaughters, Alicia Lindenbusch and Sarah Wilkinson; and one great-great-granddaughter, Riley Wilkinson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her companion, Mitchel F. Geisler, Sr.
Michael Jaden Blackenter

Michael Jaden Blackenter, infant son of Michael Dean Blackenter and Marcia Michelle Wilson who survive of Slater, MO, died Sunday, January 20, 2008, at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall, MO.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, January 25, 2008, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall. Burial will be in Salt Fork Cemetery. Friends may call prior to the service at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall. Memorials may be made to help defray funeral expenses c/o Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home.
Additional survivors include one sister, Mikayla Blackenter of the home; paternal grandmother, Velma Brown of Marshall; and maternal great-grandmother, Juanita Vaught and husband, C.J. of Marshall.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, William Blackenter and Susie Evans.
