Ms. is survived by her cousin, Donna (Harold) Shortt of Saint Peters, MO, Many cousins and distant relatives. She is preceded in death by her father, Fritz Hall, mother, Johanna Hall nee Bader, and a brother, Ronald Hall. Ms. Hall retired in 2005 from a career as a registered nurse from SSM St. Joseph Health Center in St. Charles. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Seaton in St. Charles, and she greatly enjoyed quilting.

She was the loving grandmother of grandsons, Travis and Justin Heintz. She was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Books, mother, Georgia Books. Prior to the onset of Alzheimer's and Parkinson's diseases in 2004, Carol was active in the family business as well as doing volunteer work. She enjoyed traveling and was an animal lover.
