Perry McCormack age 71 of Lake Ozark, passed away Friday Oct. 8, 2011, at the Windsor Estates in Camdenton.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2011, at the Mudd-Veach Funeral Home in Silex with Pastor Marc Knapp officiating. Burial was in the Auburn Presbyterian Cemetery near Silex. Visitation for Mr. McCormack was held from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 10, 2011, at the funeral home.
He was born April 8, 1940 in Plattin, the son of Hardy Mitchell and Mayme Ames McCormack. He married Carol Dean Woods in Biloxi, Miss. in 1963. She survives.
Also surviving are one son Scott B. McCormack and wife, Tina, of Sunrise Beach; two grandsons and one sister Beatrice Huskey of Ballwin.
Mr. McCormack served in the United States Air Force. He lived and worked in the St. Louis area where he was a registered professional engineer and worked for General Motors, McDonnell Douglas and Boeing. He and his wife moved to Lake Ozark in 2004 upon his retirement.
He was a sovereign grace Christian.
Memorials may be made to Washington University Neurology Research Department.

Mark Survant, 58 of Troy, passed away on Oct. 5, 2011 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis after a long battle with cancer.
The son of Ira Lee and Florence (Bauer) Survant, he was born March 27, 1953 in Ferguson.
On Feb. 15, 1975, in Florissant, he married Kris Grant and to this union three children were born.
Mark is survived by his wife Kris of Troy; two daughters, Melissa Wengler and husband, Bryan, of Troy, Jessica Myers and husband, Tim, of O'Fallon; one son, Michael Survant, of Florissant; one grandson, Kamden Wengler; three sisters, Charlene Lewis and husband Bill of Hurst, Texas, Carol Drummond of Ballwin, Evelyn Surratt of Ferguson; many aunts and uncles including Leona Bauer and many nieces and nephews.
Mark grew up in Ferguson and graduated from Aquinas High School in 1971. He worked as a painter for the Painters' Local Council #2 Local 1199.
He enjoyed playing, coaching and watching sports of all kinds. A memorial Mass will be said at 10 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 14, 2011 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Troy. Inurnment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Troy.
Memorial contributions have been suggested to Siteman Cancer Center. Services have been entrusted to Ingersoll Chapel, 211 Boone Street, Troy, MO 63379.

Funeral service for Lorraine Florence Tornatore, 90, of Winfield, will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 7, 2011, at the St. Charles Memorial Gardens in St. Charles. Visitation will be held from 1:30-2:30 p.m. at the Pitman Funeral Home in Wentzville.
Mrs. Tornatore passed away Oct. 4, 2011, at her residence.
Born Nov. 28, 1920, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of August and Martha Mattmann. Survivors include a niece, Peggy and her husband, Lundy Ball, of Grove City, Ohio; niece, Judy and her husband, Dale Stevens, of Charles and niece, Laurie and husband, Thomas Stage, of O'Fallon.
She was a homemaker.
Memorials of the donor's choice may be made in care of Pitman Funeral Home, 1545 Wentzville Parkway, P.O. Box 248, Wentzville, MO 63385.

Susan Lynn Schroeder, age 47, of Wise, Texas, passed away Aug. 17, 2011. "Suzie-Q" or "Honey Bunny" as she was affectionately known by her family, was born July 23, 1964, the daughter of William Gregory Schroeder and Marilyn Lee Cox.
After attending the local schools including Troy Buchanan High School.
Susan loved her family and had a deep love for animals. Susan is survived by her beloved mother, Marilyn Cox, of Troy; one sister, Laura Schroeder, of Troy; one niece, Alyshia C. Schroeder-Johnson and one nephew, Brandon L. Schroeder-Johnson; her ex-husbands, Philip Whisenart and Frank Matsapto (Badger), as well as many other relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Life/Memorial Service will be held Oct. 8, 2011, from 2 t 4 p.m. at Calvary Chapel in Troy. Rev. Wes Denham and Dave Stuckmeyer will officiate.
Memorials may be made to the donor's choice in care of McCoy-Blossom Funeral and Cremation Center, 1304 Boone Street, Troy, MO 63379.

Funeral services for Kenneth James Dorsey, 41, of St. Charles, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2011, at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Winfield. Rev. Jack Hembry of Florissant, will officiate with burial in Whispering Winds Cemetery in Winfield.

Mr. Dorsey, 41, passed away Monday, Oct. 3, 2011 in St. Charles.
Born Aug. 31, 1970, in St. Louis, he was the son of Kenneth James Dorsey, Sr. and Mary Amman. He was united in marriage on Feb. 14, 1994, in St. Charles to Victoria Lynn Pearson. This union was blessed with one daughter, Nicole Marie.
Mr. Dorsey worked as a mechanic for J & M Lawn Care.
Survivors include his wife 17 years, Victoria Dorsey, of Winfield, and their daughter, Nicole, also of Winfield. He is also survived by his mother, Mary Amman of Chicago, IL, several aunts, uncles, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held from 4 - 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 10, 2011 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Winfield.
Memorials may be made to the family of Kenneth James Dorsey in care of Carter-Ricks Funeral Homes, 3838 East Highway 47; P.O. Box 253; Winfield, MO 63389.

Robert Ewell "Bob" Pickens, 77, of Troy, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2011 at his home in Troy after a short battle with lung cancer. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, 2011, at the Collier Funeral Home in Louisiana. The Rev. Steve Pinnell officiated. Visitation was held from 11 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home. Burial was in the Fairview Cemetery near Louisiana.
He was born Oct. 26, 1933, in Shamrock, Okla. to Ewell Martin Pickens and LaVerna Wilkin Pickens. They preceded him in death.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Sandra Dee Rule Pickens; children Kim Pickens (Ernest Gibson), David Pickens (Joellen), Dan Pickens (Robin)and Kelly Anagnos; stepson, William Terhune; grandchildren, Kurt Gibson, Todd Gibson, Brian and Amber Pickens and Brad Anagnos; sisters Pat Glidewell (John ), Carolyn Prevo; brother-in-law, Richard Rule and sisters-in-law, Jane Reeves (Gary) and Carolyn Oliver (Bob).
Bob spent his early years in Oklahoma before his family moved to Lefors, Texas, where his father worked in the oil fields and the family lived in a company 'camp.' When Bob was just 8 and 1/2, his father died after an industrial accident and the family moved to Nortonville, Kan. to live with his maternal grandparents.
Bob graduated from Nortonville High School, later attending Washburn University in Ottawa, Kan. and Washington University in St. Louis, majoring in engineering. He was employed by Southwestern Bell Telephone Company for almost 40 years, beginning as a part-time 'gopher' in the company mail room in Topeka, Kan and ending as a main systems engineer at the technical assistance Center in St. Louis.
During his early retirement years he and Sandra traveled extensively in the U.S. and Europe. He also pursued his lifelong passion for aviation. Quickly becoming an A and P certified aircraft mechanic, owned and restored several classic airplanes and finally built his own experimental aircraft. He flow out of Greensfield Airport in Moscow Mills before his illness caught u with him. His favorite place in the world was either in the air or on the ground working on his or a friend's aircraft. He will be missed by all his flying buddies at Greensfield.

Kenneth Wayne Collins, 60, of Troy, passed from this life on Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2011, at his home with his family by his side.
The son of Earl Eugene and Catherine Louise "Kitty" (Treese) Collins, he was born Sept. 14, 1951, in Louisiana, Mo.
On July 10, 1993, at Moscow Mills, Missouri, he married Bernice Dixon, who survives.
Also surviving him are: one daughter, Dawn Collins and friend, Jimmy Erwin, of Troy; two sons, Scott Collins, of Troy and Randy Collins and wife, Barb, of St. Louis; a special nephew, Shawn Collins of Connecticut; four grandchildren, Alyssa Collins, Sierra High, Emily Collins and Joseph Collins; six step-children, Elaine Brewer and friend, Chad Gabel, Kenneth O'Grady, Christine Brewer and Johnny O'Grady, all of Troy, Darlene Clearwater and husband, Bobby of Warrenton, and Randy O'Grady and friend, Jenny of Moscow Mills; 10 step-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; four sisters, Carolyn Lois Kraft and husband, Charlie, of Hawk Point, Debra Kay Sauberlich and husband, Jeff, of Troy; Roxie Ann Martin and friend, Sal Toro of Moscow Mills and Cynthia Louise Finley and husband, Terry, of Troy; and three brothers, Earl Eugene Collins, Jr. and wife, Lori of Troy, Missouri, Rocky Lee Collins and wife, Brenda, of Troy and Patrick Wayne Collins and wife, Coleen of Lake Havasu City, Ariz.
Kenneth was an assembly inspector for Ford Motor Company. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, playing cards, hunting and fishing.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Oct. 7, 2011, at Ingersoll Chapel for Funeral and Cremation Services, 211 Boone Street, Troy. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 6, 2011, at the funeral chapel. Interment will be in the Troy City Cemetery, Troy.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Funeral services for Darline Edith Bruning, 89, of Topeka, Kan., will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 7, 2011, at the Wright City Church of the Nazarene. Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 6, 2011 at the Pitman Funeral Home, Warrenton. Interment will follow the funeral in the Zoar Church Cemetery, Wright City.
Mrs. Bruning passed away Oct. 4, 2011 in the Rolling Hills Nursing Facility in Topeka.
Born March 24, 1922, in Troy, she was the daughter of Florence and Laura Anna Eversmeyer. Survivors include one daughter, Karen Elaine (Ross) Hirst, of Topeka, one grandson, one great-grandson.
Mrs. Bruning was a homemaker and a member of the Wright City Church of the Nazarene. She was united in marriage to Alden Bruning on Feb. 16, 1946.
Memorials may be made to the Wright City Church of the Nazarene in care of Pitman Funeral Hoe, P.O. Box 126, Warrenton, MO 63383.
