Funeral services for Ida J. Anderson, 106, of Elsberry, MO were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, November 8, 2009, at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry. Rev. Raymond Doussard of Elsberry officiated with burial in Star Hope Cemetery near Elsberry.
Ms. Anderson, 106, died early Friday morning, November 6, 2009, at the Elsberry Health Care Center near Elsberry.
Born November 25, 1902 in Elsberry, she was the daughter of Benjamin Franklin and Molly Catherine Hausgen Burger. She was employed for many years at Baldor Electric in St. Louis, retiring in 1965. She was a member of the Star Hope Baptist Church near Elsberry.
She is survived by her sister-in-law, Lula Burger of Elsberry; several cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation was held from 1 p.m. until time of the service at 2 p.m. Sunday, November 8, 2009 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry.
Memorials may be made to the Star Hope Baptist Church in care of Carter-Ricks Funeral Home, 107 South Fifth Street, Elsberry, MO 63343.

Funeral services for Robert E. "Bob" Kramer, 81, of Wentzville, was held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2009, at the St. Patrick Catholic Church in Wentzville. Interment followed in the Our Lady Cemetery in Dardenne. Visitation was held from 3-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2009, at the Pitman Funeral Home, located at 1545 Wentzville Parkway.
Mr. Kramer passed away Nov. 7, 2009, at St. Joseph Hospital West in Lake Saint Louis.
Born March 29, 1928, in St. Louis, he was the son of William B. and Adalia Kramer.
Survivors include his wife, Camille Kramer, of Wentzville; one son, Robert Kramer and wife, Melanie, of O'Fallon; daughters, Donna Oliver and husband, Chuck, of St. Peters, Sharon Prater and husband, Tonie, of St. Charles, and Linda Kyser and husband, Phil, of Troy; one brother, William Kramer Jr., and wife, Diana, of Florissant; and eight grandchildren.
Kramer worked as a produce manager for Schnucks Grocery for 46 years. He served in the Army National Guard for seven years, was a member of the St. Patrick Catholic Church, was a UFCW Local 655 and was a member of the St. Louis Cathedral Men's Choir for 50 years. He received the Prestigious St. Louis Award for 50 years of dedicated service to the choir.
Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association or Masses in care of Pitman Funeral Home, P.O. Box 248, Wentzville, MO 63385.

Mary Roberson, 81 of Silex, passed away at 4:40 p.m., Sunday, November 8, 2009 at the Silex Community Care Center.
The daughter of Ernest A. and Ruby (Eversmeyer) Thompson, she was born March 26, 1928 in Hawk Point, Missouri.
On September 11, 1949, she married Jasper Earl "Jack" Roberson.
She is survived by two brothers, David A. Thompson and wife, Ina Jewell of New Hartford and Donald E. Thompson and wife, Virginia of Troy; two sisters, R. Alice Mudd and husband, Mike of Bainbridge, Ohio and Jacklyn C. Hay and husband, Lowell, of Kansas City; three sister-in-laws, Helen Thompson, of Silex, and Carolyn Alligood and Hallie Roberson, both of Washington, N. C.; and 15 nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Roberson made her home in Mexico, Missouri for most of her life. She worked as an accountant.
Visitation was held from 10 a.m. until the time of the services at 11 a.m., Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at Ingersoll Chapel for Funeral & Cremation Services, 211 Boone Street, Troy, with David Thompson, officiating. Interment was in the Hawk Point City Cemetery, Hawk Point.
Memorial donations may be made to the Hawk Point City Cemetery.

Catherine V. Schlote age 94, of Silex, passed away Tuesday October 20, 2009, at her home. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, 2009, at the St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Millwood. Burial was in the St. Alphonsus Cemetery. Visitation was held from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23, 2009, at the Mudd-Veach Funeral Home in Silex.
She was born September 15, 1915 in Millwood, the daughter of Frank G. and Mary Forst Bauer. On September 4, 1939, at Millwood, she married Orestes Schlote.
Survivors include three sons, Bernard J. Schlote and wife, Valerie, of Silex, David R. Schlote and wife, Pam, of Troy, Bill Schlote and JoAnn Portwood of Silex; step son, Kenneth R. Schlote and wife, Pat, of St. Charles; nine daughters Martha Brown and husband Terry of New Caney, Texas, Mary Orf and husband, Paul, of Troy, Pat Pellikaan and husband, Llew, of St. Charles, Jean Hampel and husband, Phil, of St. Charles, Carol Moore, of Bowling Green, Betty Shaw and husband, Clayton, of Windsor, Theresa Leek and husband, Kevin, of Hawk Point, Loretta Orf and husband, Kenny, of Troy, Dorothy Henebry and husband, Chuck of Troy; 35 grandchildren;, 32 great grandchildren; two brothers, Edward Bauer, of Warrenton, Francis Bauer, of Silex; two sisters Sr. Josepha Bauer, of O'Fallon and Georgia Bauer, of Silex.
Mrs. Schlote was raised in Millwood. She taught school in St. Charles where she met her husband. In 1941 they moved to Millwood. She was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church.
Memorials may be made to St. Alphonsus School or to St. Alphonsus Preschool.

Funeral services for Sandra Kay Bach, 61, of Winfield, were held at 11 a.m. Monday, November 9, 2009, at New Salem Baptist Church near Winfield. Rev. Jim Eddleman of New Salem Baptist Church officiated with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery in St. Louis.
Mrs. Bach died Wednesday, November 4, 2009, at DePaul Health Center in St. Louis.
Born July 14, 1948 in St. Louis, she was the daughter of Raymond Robert and Viola Lucille Cooper Bowlsby. She was united in marriage on February 27, 1971 in St. Louis to Garry Lee Bach.
Survivors include four sisters: JoAnn Smith and her husband, Larry, of Moscow Mills, Donna Brutcher of Barnhart, Patricia Lindsey and her husband, Frank, of Whiteside, and Roberta Santoyo, of Elsberry; several other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held from 4 - 8 p.m. Sunday, November 8, 2009, at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield.
Memorials may be made to New Salem Baptist Church in care of Carter-Ricks Funeral Homes, 3838 East Highway 47, P.O. Box 253, Winfield, MO 63389.

Funeral services for Sam Charles Fuller, 70, of Elsberry, were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 10, 2009, at the First Christian Church in Elsberry. Rev. Tom Schofield, church pastor, officiated with burial in Elsberry City Cemetery.
Mr. Fuller, 70, died Friday morning, November 6, 2009, at the Elsberry Health Care Center near Elsberry.
Born June 21, 1939, in Calhoun County, IL, he was the son of Millard and Alice Bakitz Fuller. He was united in marriage on August 1, 1964 in Clayton, to Patricia Lee FaQuin.
He was employed for many years in the maintenance department at the Dundee Cement Plant (now Holcum) near Clarksville, retiring in 2001. He was a member of the Boilermakers Local #469. He was a member of the Elsberry First Christian Church. Survivors include his beloved wife of 45 years, Pat Fuller of Elsberry; two daughters: Cammie McMillon of Elsberry, and Debbie Harding and her husband, Fred, of Mechanicsville, MD; nine grandchildren: Bryan Wells, Jessica Hare and her husband, Patrick, Sean, Justin and Briana McMillon, and Samantha, Jennifer, Stephen and Megan King; and nine great-grandchildren. He also leaves one brother, Ralph Fuller and his wife, Hope, of Savannah, GA; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held from 4 - 7 p.m. Monday, November 9, 2009 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry.

Funeral services for Gloria Jean Lloyd, 80, of Lake St. Louis, MO were held at noon on Monday, November 9, 2009, at Calvary Assembly of God Church near Winfield. Rev. David Lloyd, church pastor, officiated with burial in St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery in St. Charles.
Mrs. Lloyd, 80, died Thursday, November 5, 2009, at St. John's Mercy Medical Center in St. Louis.
Born October 11, 1929, in Kansas City, she was the daughter of Joseph W. and Catherine A. Carrico Fredenburg. She graduated high school from St. Charles High and attended Sanford Brown. She was united in marriage on September 2, 1950, in St. Charles to George Ray Lloyd. This union was blessed with six sons: George, James, David, Steven, Michael and Ronald.
She worked for 25 years as a secretary for McDonnell Douglas, retiring in 1992. She was a member of the Calvary Assembly of God Church near Winfield.
Survivors include her beloved husband of 59 years, George Lloyd, of Lake St. Louis; five sons: James Lloyd and his wife, Debbie, of Wentzville, Rev. David Lloyd and his wife, Donna, of Winfield, Steven Lloyd of Lake St. Louis, Michael Lloyd of Lake St. Louis, and Ronald Lloyd and his wife, Angie, of St. Charles; twelve grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held from 11 a.m. Monday, November 9, 2009 until the time of service.
Memorials may be made to Missions in Haiti in care of Carter-Ricks Funeral Homes, 107 South Fifth Street, Elsberry, MO 63343.

Sammy Pray Mudd, 91, of Silex, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2009, at the Elsberry Health Care Center in Elsberry. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 6, 2009, at the Mudd-Veach Funeral Home in Silex with Edward Spies officiating. Burial was in the St. Alphonsus Cemetery with Fr. Charles Tichacek officiating. Visitation was held from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 5, 2009, at the funeral home.
She was born Nov. 8, 1917, in Eolia, the daughter of David Cowell and Margaret Belle Warner Oliver. She married John Willis Mudd on Sept. 2, 1944, in Millwood. He preceded her in death on Feb. 27, 2008.
Survivors include two daughters Marie Wanzalee Mudd, of Elsberry, and Mary Agnes (Noot) Logan, of Silex; two granddaughters, Chris Tomschin and husband, Steve, and Leslie Ann Bufford; two great granddaughters, Anne Marie Bufford and Erin R. Tomschin; cousins Ruth Duff, of Eolia, and John Henry Warner, of Bowling Green; and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Mudd lived in the Millwood area most of her life. She attended St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. She had been an elementary school teacher for 43 years, including teaching at Clopton School for 21 years.
Memorials may be made to St. Alphonsus Cemetery.
