Mrs. Mildred D. Jones, 95, of Briscoe, passed away Saturday, June 21, 2008, at the Lincoln County Medical Center.
She was born March 27, 1913, in Briscoe to Cartie and Mary Esther (Huff) Wells. She attended Morris school in Briscoe.
She was united in marriage to Clement Thomas "Bub" Jones on August 12, 1933, in Bellflower in a double ceremony which included the marriage of her sister Zelma Wells to James Zumwalt. Mildred became a homemaker, and a wonderful cook. She raised six children, and supported her husband as he established Jones & Sons Contractors in 1951, building numerous homes and commercial buildings in the area. In their retirement years they built a retirement home in Colorado where the family made many memories. She devoted her entire life to God and her family. She was a member of the Briscoe Holiness Church; her attendance at the first Troy Holiness Camp in 1935 was an important memory to her.
Mildred is survived by six children, David C. and Loyce Jones, Ellisville, Derwood T. and Jeannie Jones, Wright City, Mary H. and Ben Bray, Troy, Violet J. and Jerry Beaver, Wright City, Dorothy E. and Edward Foster, Winfield, and Carol A. Potter, Briscoe; two siblings, Ruth McCardie, Troy, and Kenneth and Dorothy Wells, Troy; 11 grandchildren: David B. Jr. and Laurie Jones, Deborah and David Sprock, Dana and Randy Bachert, Dawn Jones, Bennett Bray, Dale and Pam Beaver, Tina Beaver, Jimmy Weinand, Patty and Rick McLeary, and Sheila and Allen Heyer; 23 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Nellie C. Wells; many other relatives and friends.
Funeral service for Mildred Jones will be Wednesday, June 25, 2008, at 10 a.m. at McCoy - Blossom Funeral Home, 1304 Boone St. Troy, Mo. 63379 Officiating will be George Prior and Derwood Wells.
Interment following in Old Alexandria Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 24, 2008, from 4-8 p.m. at McCoy - Blossom Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to the Briscoe Holiness Church Building Fund, or the Assembly of God Church of Troy C/O the funeral home.
Funeral services for Donald Lee Walker, 70, of Troy, will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, June 25, 2008, at the Collier Funeral Home in Louisiana. Rev. David Rispoli will officiate. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery near Louisiana.
Mr. Walker passed away Saturday, June 21, 2008, at his home in rural Troy.
He was born July 8, 1937, in Louisiana, son of Orval and Ruth Anna Hallows Walker. He married Alice Ann Vanry on April 30, 1962, in Denver, CO and she survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Teresa Johnston (Randy), Lone Oak, Ark. and Donna Key, Moscow Mills; three grandchildren, Amanda Walker, Troy, Alex Walker, Moscow Mills and Samantha Johnston, Lone Oak, Ark.; one great-granddaughter, Emma Penrod, Troy and one brother, Robert Walker, St. Ann.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Richard Walker and one sister, Carol Helvey.
Walker graduated from Ritenour High School in St. Johns. He was a veteran serving with the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He had been employed as a sheet metal worker with McDonnell Douglas Aircraft Company in St. Louis until his retirement in 1993. He enjoyed hunting and working on automobiles.
Pallbearers will be Randy Johnston, Charles Chapius, Chris Walker, Chris Gilbert, Sam Wilkerson and Lynn Speiandio.

Willie Garland Bricker, Sr., of Troy, passed away on Sunday, June 22, 2008, at Lincoln County Medical Center in Troy.
He was born November 15, 1917, the son of Finton E. and Maudie Tillotson Bricker. On October 12, 1940, in Troy, he was united in marriage to Kathryn Marie Brune who preceded him in death.
Bricker attended school in both the Ritenour and Troy school system. Upon completion of the eight grade, he left school and began farming. Willie farmed all his life. He liked to see the crops growing in the fields. Raising hogs and cattle kept him busy but in his spare time he enjoyed gardening and fishing. He especially enjoyed eating the catfish he had caught.
He is survived by one son, Willie Garland Bricker, Jr. Troy; and one sister, Marjorie (Margie) Myers; one sister-in-law, Margie Adams, Troy, and one brother-in-law, George Brune and his wife, Alice, Bull Shoals, Ark.; four nieces, Elaine Allen and husband, Steve, Troy, Lois Powell and husband, Tom, Finland, Ohio, Patty Barchesky and husband, Steve, Hawk Point and Debbie Rojas and husband, Richard, of Las Vegas, NV; three nephews, Steve Myers and wife, Elizabeth, Montgomery City, Ricky Brune O'Fallon, and David Brune of the state of South Carolina.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 24, 2008, at the Kemper-Marsh-Millard Family Funeral Homes-Troy Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, June 25, 2008, at the chapel. Pastor Kwon will officiate. Interment will be in the Old Alexandria Cemetery. Funeral Mass for Herbert "Herb" Sulltrop, 77, Wentzville, will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, June 25, 2008, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Wentzville. Interment will be held in the Eternal Peach Cemetery at Wentzville.
Mr. Sulltrop passed away June 22, 2008, at St. Joseph Hospital West in Lake Saint Louis.
Born April 3, 1931, in Washington, Mo., he was the son of Otto and Francis Sulltrop. They preceded him in death as did his wife, Delores. He and his wife were married on Nov. 3, 1953 in Washington.
Survivors include his sons, Gary Sulltrop, Moscow Mills and David (Joann) Sulltrop, Wentzville; daughters, Sandra Sulltrop and Debra Sulltrop, both of Wentzville; his brothers, Clarence Sulltrop and Ray Sulltrop, both of Washington; his sisters, Marie Flagg, Union, Laverne Sulltrop, Union and Arlis Voss, Washington.
Sulltrop was a final processor at the General Motors plant. He was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Wentzville; Knights of Columbus and retired volunteer fireman for the Wentzville Fire Department.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 24, 2008, at the Pitman Funeral Home, Wentzville.

Cynthia J. Lindsey, 73, of Troy, passed away on Wednesday, June 18, 2008.
She was born on April 4, 1935, in Lincoln County, to Virgil and Emma Austin. She grew up in the local schools. Cynthia met and later married Phillip Lindsey. They were blessed with a daughter, Stephanie.
Being with her family was paramount to her. She especially enjoyed being outside and riding in her golf cart. Making new friends was easy for Cynthia. She never met a stranger.
For many years, she had worked in the Ob/Gyn dept. of the Lincoln County Medical Center in Troy.
Surviving are her loving family: her husband, Phillip Lindsey, of Troy; her daughter, Stephanie Grussing, of Troy; her three sisters, Pat (Al) Ferguson of Troy, Mabel Ellis, of Troy, and Mary Louise; two grandchildren, Caleb Leek and Levi Lindsey; two great-grandchildren, Emmitt and Alexis; many other relatives and friends.
Preceding her in death were her parents and her brother, Henry Austin.
Funeral service will be held Thursday, June 19, 2008, at the McCoy-Blossom Funeral Home, 1304 Boone St., Troy. Visitation will be held Thursday, June 19, 2008, from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

George Edward Franklin Tillotson, 98, Troy, passed away June 18, 2008, at his home.
He was born December 12, 1909, in Lincoln County, a son of Ezra and Edna Brown Tillotson. He was married August 11, 1938, to Bernice Hicks Teasley who preceded him in death on February 3, 2008.
George was a farmer all of his life. He started as a very small child and was able to turn the plow by himself at the age of seven. He and his wife lived many happy years together on the farm. He was a member of the Old Alexandria United Methodist Church.
He is survived by one daughter, Donna Norvel and husband. Bob, of Annada; two sons, Wayne Tillotson and wife, Marilyn, of Elsberry and Ezra Tillotson and wife, Rose, of Troy; two sisters, Alberta Hawkins, of St. Charles and Bobby Dean Fox, of Eolia; two sisters-in-law, Louella Colbert, of Troy and Dora Edna Ash, of Elsberry; seven grandchildren, Rob Norvel, Corey Norvel, Tracy Howard and husband, Kyle, Kelly Chaney and husband, Mark, David Tillotson, Jasmine Tillotson and Deveron Tillotson and four great-grandchildren, Jessica Wilson, Justin Chaney, Dylan Howard and Brock Howard.
He was also preceded in death by his parents, and five siblings: Kathryn Tillotson, Floy Taylor, Serena McClellan, Arthur Tillotson and Mary Teasley.
Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, June 19, 2008, at Old Alexandria United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 20, 2008, at Old Alexandria Church. Pastor Kwon officiated. Interment will be private in Old Alexandria Cemetery.

Funeral service for Wilma A. Baker, 66, Troy, was held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 15, 2008, at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter. Visitation was held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, June 13, 2008, at the Baue Funeral Home in O'Fallon and from noon to 2 p.m. on June 15 at the funeral home in Dexter.
Mrs. Baker died Wednesday, June 11, 2008, at the Lincoln County Medical Center in Troy.
Born Aug. 22, 1941, in Parma, she was the daughter of Leo and Viola Breece. On Feb. 21, 1961, in Dexter, she married James Baker.
Survivors include: two daughters, Rhonda (Bill) Schrum, of Wentzville, Lori (Steve) McCarthy, Houston, Mo.; one son, James (Daniele) Baker, Liberty; three grandchildren; four brothers, Tom Breece, San Angelo, Texas, Doyle Breece, Lonoke, Ark., Randall (Saunie) Breece, Jackson, Mo., Buck (Bea) Breece, Risco, Mo.; two sisters, Pauline (Buddy) Baldwin, Cuba, Mo., Lavada Oaker, Cuba, Mo.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Laverne Ohr and Betty Lawrence.
Baker worked as a cafeteria cook in the Ft. Zumwalt School District. She was a member of the O'Fallon Christian Church.

Mrs. Ada L. Dolde, 92, of Troy, passed away on Thursday, June 12, 2008, at Lincoln County Medical Center, Troy.
She was born on March 27, 1916, in Gerald, to Charles and Catherine (Schmidt) Blankenship. On December 3 1938, she married Joseph Dolde in Greenridge, Mo.
Being a member of Zion United Church of Christ was very important to her. She would help with the baking for special meals; she also enjoyed quilting with her friends. Getting along with others was easy for her. It was her nature to be agreeable and helpful. Ada could also make good decisions on her own, if necessary.
Survivors include her loving children Norma and Dennis Delahanty, of Naperville, Il., and Ronald and Mary Dolde of Troy; four grandchildren, Lisa Brush, Brian Dolde, Dr. Doug (Nicole) Delahanty, and Todd (Lesley) Delahanty; 10 great-grandchildren; her sister, Madge Campbell of Bloomington, Il.; brother-in-law Rev. Vernon Dolde of Wausau, Wi.; two sisters-in-law, Rose Marie Dolde of Blue Springs, and Helen Reich of St. Louis; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and six siblings.
Funeral service was held on Monday, June 16, 2008, at 10 a.m., at McCoy - Blossom Funeral Home, 1304 Boone St. Troy. Officiating was Rev. Craig Blaufuss. Interment followed in Zion Cemetery, Troy. Visitation was held Sunday, June 15, 2008, from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
