Gene was born the son of Henry Clay and Carrie Lee (Dorsey) Hull on Sept. 20, 1920 in Bogard, Mo. He married
Betty Jean Hull on Jan. 19, 1946 in Chillicothe, Mo. She preceded him in death on April 2, 2005 in Chillicothe, Mo.
Margaret B. Stanley
Margaret B. Stanley, 99, a resident of Braymer, Mo., died Thursday, Nov. 27, 2008 at Golden Age Nursing Home, Braymer, Mo.
She was born March 31, 1909 in Sampsel, Mo., the daughter of Fred W. and Amanda (Reeser) Eberlin. She married
Clifford Smith April 7, 1926. He preceded her in death. She married
Virgil Stanley on Oct. 16, 1960. He also preceded her in death.

Georgia Lorain Wightman, 91, a lifelong resident of Braymer, Mo., died Saturday, Nov. 29, 2008 at the Golden Age Nursing Home, Braymer, Mo.
She was born July 18, 1917 in Plymouth, Mo., the daughter of George Franklin and Ruth Jane (Cox) Wightman.

Victor was born April 26, 1947 in Chillicothe, Mo., the son of Dennie Delbert and Violet LeVon (Fields) Anderson. He married
Teresa Batye on Nov. 10, 2003 in New Orleans, La. She survives of the home.

Joseph Vernon Crookshanks, 87, a resident of Chillicothe, Mo., died Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2008 at Indian Hills Retirement Village, Chillicothe, Mo., where he had been a resident for five years.
Joe was born Aug. 25, 1921 in Milan, Mo., the son of Vernon R. and Claire G. (Moran) Crookshanks. He married
Helen V. Stewart on Oct. 7, 1943 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Chillicothe, Mo. She preceded him in death on Jan. 24, 2004.

She was born in Yale, Iowa on Nov. 24, 1922, the daughter of Marvin and Bertha Bennett. On Sept. 17, 1943 she married
Gerald Johnson in Osceola, Iowa. They had three sons: Stephen, Stuart and Stanley, and a daughter Lorraine.

Charles Grant Snider, 72, of Independence, Mo., died on Friday, Dec. 26, 2008.
Mr. Snider was born on Aug. 20, 1936 in Greeley, Colo., the son of Holman A. and Bertha C. Harrington Snider. He worked several years for Barnes-Baker Motors in Chillicothe, Mo., and then was a auto mechanic for several years in the Kansas City area.

Francis Koehly at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Chillicothe, Mo. He survives of the home.

Roger was born Nov. 3, 1920 in Chillicothe, Mo., the son of Russell Anderson Slater and Pearl May Kriner Slater. Roger married
Velma Corene Burlison on March 3, 1972 in Las Vegas, Nev. She survives of the home.

Donald Stephens in Chillicothe, Mo. They divorced in 1976.

Melvin Burr Coldiron, 90, a resident of Chillicothe, Mo., died Sunday, Dec. 21, 2008, at Northland Ltac, Kansas City, Mo.
Melvin was born the son of Frank Thomas and Edith May (Johnson) Coldiron on Feb. 26, 1918 in Ludlow, Mo. He was married
to Katherine Julia Vaughn, on Sept. 1, 1946, in Independence, Mo. She preceded him in death on Feb. 15, 1965.
Cynthia Lynn Huggins
Cindi came to work at the Constitution-Tribune about a year ago. When you work in a small area and you have to work as a team, you get very close to your co-workers. Spending as much time together as we do, you begin to feel as if you are family. Cindi had a warm smile and worked very hard at being a team member. On Saturday, Dec. 6, 2008, Cindi passed away. Now we have a hole in our team and in our C-T family. We all miss her and her smile very much.

William was born July 10, 1964 in Mersaid, Calif., son of Desmoil Ray and Erline (Woods) Rush.
William enjoyed spending time with his family.
Michael J. Jones
Michael J. Jones, 41, a resident of Chula, Mo., died Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2008 at his home.
Michael was born Jan. 18, 1967, the son of Sidney M. and Diana (Burgess) Jones in Ottumwa, Iowa.
Michael served in the United States Army from 1985 to 1986. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and was known as “Uncle Mike” to most. He loved his nieces and nephews. He was Kansas City Chiefs Fan of the Month, Aug. 2001 and enjoyed spending time tutoring kids at the Chula School, Chula, Mo. He was a lifetime member of the North American Hunting Club and was a member of Paralyzed Veterans of America.

William Lloyd was born March 23, 1931 in rural Laclede, Mo., son of Clarence Henry and Laura Edith (Cooper) Singleton. He married
Dixie Geraldine Cooper.
Doris Karlene Conner
Chillicothe, Mo. - Doris Karlene Conner, 59, a resident of Chillicothe, Mo., died Saturday, Dec. 13, 2008.
Doris was born Dec. 16, 1949.
She is survived by a brother, Bill Conner, Jamesport, Mo.; one sister, Cindy Jordan, Hamilton, Mo.; three nieces, Neva Olson, Chillicothe, Mo., Kimberly Crow, Dawn, Mo., and Elizabeth Jordan, Hamilton, Mo.; nephew, David Jordan, Hamilton, Mo.; one great-niece, Brittany Tutt, Dawn, Mo.; and one great-nephew, Tanner Olson, Chillicothe, Mo.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Karl William Conner and Norma Jean Conner.
There was a cremation. Services scheduled for a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Doris Karlene Conner memorial fund and may be made at Citizens Bank and Trust, Chillicothe, Mo.

Gerald Coldiron, 79, of Belton, Mo., died Friday, Dec. 12, 2008 in Raymore, Mo.
Mr. Coldiron was born March 14, 1929 in Dawn, Mo. He was a USAF veteran of the Korean War.

Jaclyn Dawn “Jackie” Skipper, 29, a resident of Chillicothe, Mo., died Saturday, Dec. 13, 2008 at her home.
She was born Dec. 2, 1979 in Chillicothe, Mo., the daughter of Gary and Debbie (Hesler) Skipper. She was a 1998 graduate of Chillicothe High School and was the Vice President of the FFA her senior year. She was a 2000 graduate of NCMC in Trenton, Mo., with an Associate Arts Degree in Ag Business and a 2002 graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Ag Economics from the University of Columbia, Mo.
Wilma Ellen Hamilton Wildy
Wilma Ellen Hamilton Wildy, 88, of Corydon, Iowa., formerly of Chillicothe, Mo., died Saturday, Dec. 13, 2008 at Wayne County Hospital in Corydon, Iowa.
Wilma was born June 11, 1920 in Newtown, Mo., the daughter of Robert Jahu Collins and Wineva Taylor Collins. She married
Wayne Hamilton in Chillicothe, Mo., June 8, 1946. He preceded her in death Dec. 14, 1962. On May 18, 1988 she married
Vernon Wildy in Chillicothe, Mo. He preceded her in death in 2002.
