DACULA, Ga. -- Goldie F. Gray, 102, of Dacula, Ga., formerly of Poplar Bluff, died Sept. 27 2003 in Dacula.
Arrangements are pending with Cotrell Funeral Service.
Jewel Marie Browne
ANNAPOLIS -- Jewel Marie Browne, 86, of Annapolis died Thursday, Sept. 25, 2003 at St. Anthony's Medical Center in St. Louis.
Mrs. Browne was born Sept. 10, 1917 in Iron County She was a homemaker and attended the Assembly of God in Des Arc.
She married
Paul A. Browne Aug. 6 1935; he preceded her in death.
Also surviving are a son, Bobbie Joe Browne of Annapolis; two daughters, Hazel Moore and Connie Kuenzle, both of Arnold; three sisters, the Rev. Hazel Swaringim of Annapolis, Virginia "Shorty" Clements of Bloomsdale and Charlene Welch (address unknown); 11 grandchildren 14 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 2:30 p.m. today at the Des Arc Assembly of God with the Rev. Bobbie Browne, Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Meadows cemetery in Annapolis.
Ruegg Funeral Home of Piedmont is in charge of arrangements.
Robert E. Everhart
VAN BUREN -- Robert Eugene "Cob" Everhart, 74, died Friday, Sept. 26, 2003 at Des Peres.
Mr. Everhart was born Oct. 21, 1928 at Grandin. He lived in Van Buren most of his life and was formerly of St. Louis. He was retired from the Keene Cutter Knife Factory. Mr. Everhart was an Army veteran of the Korean War and affiliated with the Baptist Church. He enjoyed going to auctions, playing Bingo and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
He was married
to the former Betty Voyles for 45 years.
Surviving are a son, Ronald Eugene Everhart of Ellington; four daughters, Kathy Ann O'Keefe of St. Louis, Patricia Aliene Wright of Ellington, Kimberly Annette Heston of Des Moines, and Karen Lynn Baldock of Las Vegas; two sisters, Mary A. Putman of Poplar Bluff and Patricia A. Womack of DeSoto; 14 grandchildren and other relatives.
Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. today at the McSpadden Funeral Home in Ban Buren. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with burial following in the Van Buren City cemetery.
Jean Kay Martin
DEXTER -- Jean Kay Martin, 53, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, Sept. 26, 2003 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
Ms. Martin was born June 26 1950 at Poplar Bluff. She was a beautician/hair stylist at J.C. Penney in Cape Girardeau and a member of the Community Church at Lowndes.
She is survived by two daughters, Dawn Dee Simpson of Wappapello and Shawna Jackson of Bloomfield; a stepdaughter, Brandy Martin of Sherman, Texas; three brothers, James L. Rogers of Lowndes, Robert B. Rogers of Wappapello and Jonah Rogers of Dexter; her mother, Ellare J. Rogers of Cape Girardeau and by four grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral home in Dexter with Dale Rogers and Jack Rogers officiating. Burial will be in the Community Church of Christ cemetery at Lowndes.

Vickie Moyer
GREENVILLE -- Vickie Louvera Inez Moyer, 42, of Greenville died Friday, Sept. 26, 2003 at Greenville.
Mrs. Moyer was born Dec. 11, 1960 in Stoddard County. She was a machine operator for Hydraulic Co. in Rockford, Ill., and a member of the Kime General Baptist Church.
She married
James A. Moyer March 22, 2001. He survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Sarah Satre of Chicago; a stepson, Nick Moyer of Greenville; two stepdaughters, Barb Moyer of Rockton, Ill., and Stephanie Moyer of Greenville; five brothers, Larry Burchard, Lonnie Burchard, Junior Leslie Burchard and David Burchard, all of Greenville and Doug Burchard of Roscoe, Ill.; two sisters, Donna Haynes of Greenville and Beverly James of Imperial; her father, Leslie Burchard and stepmother, Jean Burchard, of Greenville.
Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. today at the Ruegg Funeral Home of Greenville with the Rev. Kenny Burchard and the Rev. Glenn Crutchfield officiating. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Kime General Baptist Church with burial in the Kime cemetery.
James Sonney
DEXTER -- James Bryon Sonney, 61, of Dexter died Saturday, Sept. 27, 2003, at Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter.
Mr. Sonney was born June 1, 1942, in Greene County, Ark. He was a member of the Second General Baptist Church in Dexter and was a retired forklift driver for Stanilslaus Food in Modesto, Calif.
On May 11, 1961, he married
Cynthia Rogers in Rector, Ark. She survives.
Other survivors include three sons, Jimmy Dean Sonney of Moville, Iowa, and Rickey Allen Sonney and Michael Shane Sonney, both of Modesto; one daughter, Donna Marie Page of Longview, Texas; three brothers, Wayne Sonney of Australia, Donnie Sonney of Texas and Melvin Sonney of Paragould, Ark.; three sisters, Louise Stackhouse of Modesto, Mamie Worley of Farmington and Faye Tucker of Riverbank, Calif.; seven grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Visitation was held Sunday at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. today at the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Phil Warren officiating. Burial will be in the Dexter cemetery.
William Johnson
William Ira Johnson, 94, of Poplar Bluff died Monday, Sept. 29, 2003, at Three Rivers Healthcare-North Campus.
Mr. Johnson was born Feb. 2, 1909, in Pollard, Ark. He was a retired engineer with the Chrysler Corporation. A resident of Poplar Bluff since 1967, he was a member of the First Baptist Church, where he served as Deacon for many years.
On May 14, 1931, he married
Rachel Lucile Winton. She survives.
Other survivors include several nieces and nephews; and a special cousin, Dr. Gerald Johnson.
Visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Poplar Bluff City cemetery. A graveside funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. at the cemetery with Dr. William Vail officiating.
Cotrell Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.

Aaron Martin
DEXTER -- Aaron F. Martin, 63, of Bloomfield died Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2003, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
Mr. Martin was born Dec. 13, 1939, in Caraway, Ark. He was a former resident of Sikeston and Farmington and was a veteran of the U.S. Army, where he served as Senior Drill Sergeant during his 21-year stay. He owned and operated a boarding home in Farmington for 12 years.
Survivors include two brothers, Bill Martin of Sikeston and Thomas E. Martin of Springfield; and one sister, Pauline Lyons of Sikeston.
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter. The funeral service will follow at 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Carl O'Dell officiating. Burial will be held at 1 p.m. in the Missouri State Veterans cemetery in Bloomfield with full military honors.
Donald Rommel
Donald R. "Donny" Rommel, 19, of Poplar Bluff died Saturday, Sept. 27, 2003, in Butler County due to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.
Mr. Rommel was born July 9, 1984, in Poplar Bluff. He was employed at Hardee's Restaurant and of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, hunting, fishing and going swimming with his uncle.
Survivors include his parents, Kenneth R. and Carol (Kellems) Rommel of Poplar Bluff; one brother, Nicholas Rommel of Poplar Bluff; one sister, Mandy Johnson of Poplar Bluff; and his grandparents, Charles and Barbara Divine, Raymond and Alma Lovette, Clarence and Carol Rommel and Ronald and Carolyn Kellems, all of Poplar Bluff.
Visitation will begin at 7 p.m. today at Cotrell Funeral Chapel. The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Ronny Taylor officiating and Dennis Minner assisting. Burial will be in Poplar Bluff City cemetery.

GIDEON -- Clarence Graham, 84, of Gideon, died Wednesday, July 30, 2003, at Three Rivers Healthcare-North Campus in Poplar Bluff.
