Elsie Johnson
BONNE TERRE -- Elsie S. Johnson, 83, of Bonne Terre died Sunday, March 3, 2002, at the St. Joe Manor in Bonne Terre.
Mrs. Johnson was born Aug. 31, 1918, in New England, N.D. She was a member of the Bonne Terre VFW Auxiliary and the Bonne Terre Eagles Auxiliary.
She was married
to Cletis O. Johnson. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include four children, Glenda Young of Naylor, Ronnie Johnson and Patricia Del Gibbs, both of Bonne Terre and Rick Johnson of Ste. Genevieve; five sisters, Ida Sprecher, Tillie Rosenow, Betty Ruggles, Helen Green and Lorraine Brouckner; three brothers, Adam, Bennie and Harold Oberlander; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. today at the C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre with a VFW service beginning at 7 p.m. and an Eagles service following. The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Ralph Burris officiating. Burial will be in the Reynolds-Corridon Memorial Park in Corridon.
Memorials may be made to Hospice Care.
Nellie Price
MALDEN -- Nellie Price, 82, of Malden died Friday, Oct. 4, 2002, at her residence.
Funeral arrangements are pending with Landess Funeral Home of Malden.
Paul Ledbetter
PARSONS, Tenn. -- Paul "Butch" Ledbetter, 58, of Grandin, died Sunday, April 13, 2003, as the result of a motorcycle accident.
Mr. Ledbetter was born May 24, 1945, in Dyer County, Tenn. He was affliated with the Baptist church.
Survivors include one son, Paul Jason Ledbetter of Louisville, Ky.; one daughter, Lynn Hueffmeier of New Mexico; one sister, Josephine Cathey of Dyersburg, Tenn.; and two grandchildren.
The graveside funeral service will be held at 1:30 today at Sardis Ridge cemetery with Bro. Ricky Ray officiating. Parsons Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
O.T. Moss
O.T. Moss, 82, of Poplar Bluff, died Friday, Feb. 23, 2001, at Three Rivers Healthcare-North Campus in Poplar Bluff.
Arrangements are pending with Cotrell Funeral Service.
John Richie Jr.
John F. Richie Jr., 19, of Poplar Bluff died Friday night, April 12, 2002, in Poplar Bluff as the result of an automobile accident.
Mr. Richie was born June 27, 1982, in Poplar Bluff. He was employed with Simply Marvelous Car Wash and was a member of the True Believers Baptist Church where he played the drums during worship services. He enjoyed playing basketball and fishing.
Survivors include his father and stepmother, Frederick Keith and Laura (Stigall) Richie of Poplar Bluff; two brothers, Gregory K. Richie and Gordon B. Davis, both of Poplar Bluff; five sisters, Charmane L. Richie, Twajuana K. Davis, Ebony N. Stigall and Tiffany L. Clark, all of Poplar Bluff and Tina R. Youngblood of Jefferson City; his grandparents, Hattie L. Williams of Poplar Bluff, Helen Stigall of Michigan and the Rev. Johnny Williams of Poplar Bluff.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Janice M. (Williams) Richie.
Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at the First United Methodist Church in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. at the church with the Rev. Johnny Williams and the Rev. Ronnie Webb officiating. Burial will be in the Poplar Bluff City cemetery.
Cotrell Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
Ira Murray
DONIPHAN - Ira Wesley Murray, 88, of Baytown, Texas, died at noon Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2001, in Baytown. He had been ill for the past two years.
Mr. Murray was born Dec. 4, 1912, in Doniphan and was a former resident of Ripley County. He had lived and worked in St. Louis for several years and was a member of the Bethany Methodist Church.
On Feb. 14, 1994, he married
Mary E. Rhames. She preceded him in death Feb. 24, 1999.
Survivors include two daughters, Sharon Niswonger of Fenton and Judy Murray of Owensville; three sons, Charles Murray of Baytown, Kenneth Murray of Kingwood, Texas and Darren Murray of Owensville; one sister, Marizetta Hudgens of Poplar Bluff; four brothers, Claude Murray of St. Louis, James Murray of Oakland City, Ind., Bob Murray of Bethel, Alaska and Dick Murray of Malden; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
One son, Ted Murray, two sisters, Freda Adams and Verneal Timmons, and two brothers, Aubrey and Bill Murray, all preceded him in death.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral chapel with the Rev. Dick Murray officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Grove cemetery.
June A. Wilson
LESTERVILLE - June A. Wilson, 78, of Lesterville died Friday, June 28, 2002, at Delmar Gardens in Fenton.
She was born June 17, 1924, in Qulin.
Mrs. Wilson was a homemaker.
She married
Leo Wilson who preceded her in death.
Survivors are one son, Dennis Wilson of Fenton; and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be at 1 p.m. today at McSpadden Funeral Home in Lesterville. The funeral service will be held at 9 a.m. Monday at the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Bill Jackson. Burial will be in the Rayfield cemetery in Lesterville.

MALDEN - Web Rowe, 72, of Malden, died Thursday, Feb. 22, 2001, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
Arrangements are pending with Landess Funeral Home in Malden.
Phil Brannan
CAMPBELL-- Phil Brannan, 63, of Malden, formerly of Campbell, died Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2002, in Malden.
Mr. Brannan was born July 12, 1939, in Clarkton. He was a car dealer.
Survivors include one son, Shane Skidmore and wife, Tara, of Campbell; one brother, Mike Brannan of Campbell; one sister, Joella Hays of Poplar Bluff; two grandsons, Hunter Skidmore and Austin Skidmore, both of Campbell; three nephews, Kevin Boone, Clint Brannan and Brian Hays; and one niece, Cheryl Miller.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today at Landess Funeral Chapel in Campbell. A graveside funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Elder cemetery in Campbell with burial following.
Leo Roderman
ELLINGTON - Leo Roderman, 68, of Monett, died at 1:42 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 22, 2001, at Cox-Monett Hospital in Monett following a long illness.
Mr. Roderman was born June 28, 1932, in Ellington. He was a retired milk hauler and was a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
On Aug. 2, 1951, he married
Louise Sutterfield in Ellington. She survives.
Other survivors include one son, Marvin Wade Roderman of Monett; two daughters, Judith Ann Lyden of Wentworth and Audey Louise Little of Aurora; three brothers, Dolman Roderman of Oak Grove, David Roderman of Farmington and James Roderman of St. Charles; one sister, Wilma Jean Henry of Ellington; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett and from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the McSpadden Funeral Home in Ellington. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the McSpadden Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Polk Memorial cemetery in Ellington.
Pearl Pruett
Pearl Pruett of Jacksonville, Fla., formerly of Poplar Bluff, died Friday, Oct. 11, 2002, at South Lake Nursing Home in Jacksonville.
